The most impressive thing about this is the fact that after 14 years of GTA San Andreas, new hidden secrets still being found! Good job, Slippy \o/ great video
Glitching out of the gym or save houses always scared me,gave me a phobia, because the first time i saw it it creeped me out,it was all black dark nothing, the middle of nothingness, all lonely dark space nothingness, like if you are outside the observable universe,or the edge of existence.scary.
@Eddy Edd what also scared me was the clouds,i knew that as soon as i crossed that weird line green divider in the sky,the cloud would spawn but i knew they go away once i go back down, but i was scared one time because i saw the clouds spawning under the green line which was creepy
Oh please, ever heard of Shadow of the Colossus where there's a dude literally not missing a day looking into it since the demos before release were shown? San Andreas ain't even getting close to SotC in all aspects. They're both big games, but if this is what we're basing them as biggest games in history, then San Andreas just ain't it. There's even way more lost content that has been found in SotC than any game in history, just by going out of bounds.
@@PinkClaudia35 lol Ur comparing sotc to this masterpiece?Man is Ur brain working?Sotc is not a legendary game like GTA sa is.Gta sa will be the best game ever.End of story.
6:54 I only discovered this house in the burglary missions... it's a house in thr hills, near to Maddog Crib. A lot of interesting houses in this burglary missions!!
GTA games are so amazing always learnign something new, I never imagine I'd be seeing new things of san andreas like 11 years after I stopped playing it. Awesome content man.
What i found most interesting is not anything you pointed out but actually how the reflections in the floor were made with a flipped room and a slightly transparent floor. An awesome workaround for the technology at the time.
Once I saw on a video that those cubes are used for cutscenes, they move characters and objects in each cutscene. Same in GTA V, the big cube that is behind the doors on Mount Chilliad is used to move things in cutscenes.
At 6:15 that house to me looks like a more fleshed out version of the one seen in the mission "Burning Desire". Where you first set the house on fire by throwing molotovs through the windows, then go in and save Denise. Warehouse layout at 8:00 looks kiiinda similar to the one in the mission "Gray Imports". And I have never seen the fat scene of "Green Goo"! Thanks, man, great video!
that’s interesting about the “heavens”, back when this game came out, i referred to it as “blue hell” & “gray hell” - blue hell being when you went outside the map with exterior loaded (like the infamous wall on CJ’s mansion) and gray hell was outside the map with an interior loaded
Just found this channel and watched the GTA 3 and Vice City videos just an hour ago and as soon as I subscribe the San Andreas one is uploaded. Crazy coincidence.
6:08 that's the interior near Jefferson motel. Go to the front left of Jefferson motel and you will see the 3 same house at the right side of that big orange house (not Jefferson motel.)
Liberty city is accessible from the gym with jet pack for those who didn't know. you just have to go through a few entrances first. there should be videos/instructions on the internet
4:54 judging by the remainings of the words on the top left corner - it's not just a random map, but that particular texture used for a Racing map in Sunshine Autos in the Vice City
I really love these videos, it really intrigues me to see all the little secrets the developers have put in it, left out or decided it wasnt worth it for the , I would love to see the backstory of how the game was made and the decisions that went through their mind about it, because its such an amazing game and should be a big part in 'gaming history' IMO
Part of the city is also used for the introduction video, cj jacks a car and drives though the red light district briefly, that's why there's parts of that as well
Most of it I have discovered for myself from a long time ago , really dont think it's really cool until i watch your video . Great work , make my childhood flashback .
I really like the clean straight to the point editing good job Slippy Slides! I learned a couple things that i had no idea about in San Andreas like that alternate CJ scene during the jetpack missions.
About the thing with the liberty city being so expansive for a short preview of a mission, the reason was that there was supposed to be a chase scene before or after you killed the boss guy at the bistro.
Really great episode mate, lots of work went in to that I can see. It's great to have played this game for hundreds of hours and see things I had never seen before, really interesting. Thanks a lot for your hard work at keeping us entertained
Thanks as always man! Glad you enjoyed this one. Like you said it took a lot of work. Lost count the amount of the times the game crashed on me and I had to restart missions ha ha. Thanks again.
I'm disappointed :P You missed the chance to inspect the T-Pose Smoke in the famous Clucking Bell scene in the Mission "Drive-By". (And the whole scene as well) But anyway, great episode though, but i wished for more in-depth on certain cutscenes and missions you didn't show here.
Sorry to disappoint Drakon :( I'll be sure to add the 'Drive-Thru' into part 2. If there are other cutscenes let me know asap on here or patreon and I'll try and go and back and record them whilst I'm still editing.
6:41 I've seen that picture in Liberty City Stories on the bookshelf in Maria's apartment, the picture is of Katie Zhan, one of the girls that CJ can date during the game
Another absolutely incredible video, like seriously blown away by how much extra things you found, and this is coming from someone who has over 1400 hours played on GTA SA (mostly SA-MP & some MTA too) and having spent hours exploring the heavens too! :o Sure there was a lot of things I knew about already myself, but most of them still left me amazed, so I'd certainly love to see another GTA SA video like this, to further explore/expand on what you've done here already! :)
I somehow managed to fall off the map during that assassination mission in Liberty City and landed squarely in the middle of fucking Hell. It was an eerie, surreal place where CJ kept 'falling' but didn't actually descend and could still be moved around and even sprint and jump, but the falling animation never ended. Sea creatures were drifting both below _and_ above in a very disturbing manner, there were vague outlines of buildings in the distance that couldn't be reached no matter how far I traveled towards them and the entire atmosphere was greyish-pink and sounded like it was raining even though it very clearly wasn't. Then my Xbox crashed.
You picked the wrong house fool. ❤️ :") Can't believe the first character (big smoke) turned out to be CJ's mom's murderer and was the last character we saw.
I really appreciate this guy's effort in editing these cool videos and looking for secrets. I'm not really good in English. I only like to say... good luck sir. I have no doubt your channel will grow higher one day. :)
I believe the mission that takes you to St Mark's Bistro was gonna have more involved in it, namely a car chase around the local area. Devs quickly realised how big a task that would (we've already got Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas) and just changed it to the quick shootout it is in the restaurant. So yeah, that's why there's a lot of Liberty City for a short mission
Actually, the whole of Liberty City was planned to be in the game, with the mission that is played there, including a wild chase through to city. Due to obvious limitations of hardware and game engine, this plan had to be scrapped, sadly. It would have been really cool, however. The leftovers of the city not seen in the cutscenes, were there because of these plans and not because some lazy copy/paste technique.
