Awesome stuff, was trying to intonate a recent setup with my TU3 and realized I need a newer tuner. ST-300 is clearly the standout

I remember watching this video when i was looking for tuners. Turobo tuner isnt available in my region so i cnat comment. Thought i'd add after having the perterson a year, i think its my favorite pedal in all categorys. I dont even use the fancy features, its just easy and a pleasure to tune.

    Hey mate,
    Nice video.
I'm tossing up between these two tuners and the responsiveness of the st300 is incredible.
I'm definitely thinking of going with that one for sure.
    Thanks again

Glad the comparison could help. The ST300 is great, and I bet you'll really like it.

Cheers. The display on the Peterson is awesome. But it's slower to respond and the switching lag is noticeable. The ST-300 is instantaneous. They're both nice, but I prefer the Turbo Tuner.

Recently found out about this tuner because I was tempted to buy the Walrus Canvas tuner but some cool ass dude at the guitar store said “don’t even bother with any of these” and referred me to the website and this doubled down on the interest

The strobostomp has many questionable design choices. Here are the issues with the full size one, simplified:
The full sized one has: latency, micro USB, side jacks, 5M ohms input impedance in buffered mode (should be 1M ohm), switching between true bypass and buffered mode is done with a physical switch inside the battery compartment (the mini fixes this by putting it in some menu options), the battery compartment is wayy to thick so mounting it on a pedalboard with any alternative doesn't work (like if you use a temple audio quick release plate for instance), and finally they put the serial number in a stupid location.
The mini fixes some of these issues, but really they should have never been issues in the first place.

Do you know which problems were fixed with the mini Peterson? I’m trying to choose between the mini Peterson and the Sonic Research mini any thoughts?

I've owned both and the ST-300 is hands down faster
