- Now the weather is getting colder it's time to install a parking heater. I've chosen one of the Planar Diesel Heaters (the cheap one's) to go into my Land Rover Defender 110 in the cubby box at the rear of the vehicle.
I bought the heater off eBay for around £100. Here's a link to the seller I bought it from: www.ebay.co.uk/usr/besttuning...
Please note I have no association with the seller or the product.

Nice vid 👍
Ive just ordered a 2KW heater off Amazon for my 110 double cab, gonna locate in the rear tub like you but place the air filter in the tub
Ah! I thought the place looked familiar. I'm the Green 110 TD5 I met you in Reading at the storage place :) I've got one of these to fit up shortly.
Ahh, I remember. Mines working brilliantly, so nice to have a warm vehicle to get into. 100% recommend!

Nice video.

Interesting. I’ve seen a couple of installed heaters and wondered about the exhaust and potential issues with wading. I guess the heaters off when you’re off road ?
I’ve been looking at second battery and electric heaters as a cleaner alternative. Still looking. Thanks for uploading and sharing. All the best mat
Awsome that mate, can you vary the fan speed so it's not so noisy?
Did u ever try the exhaust silencer on it?
Any reason you didnt take fuel from the built in diesel tank?
Is this being run from leisure battery or direct ? if direct does it kill the battery if engine not running.
Cheers
Is this heater still going strong???
It certainly is. The only part I've replaced is the screen which I leant on and broke.
It's not Chinese heater. It's from Russia )

I’m hopeful it won’t be an issue with the exhaust but the air intake is a bit of a concern. Yea I don’t intend to use it whilst off-road as I only really use it in the mornings to warm up the the normal heater is fine. Knowing me though I’ll probably leave it on accidentally and tackle a river!
