#metalcore #breakdowns
Bodysnatcher’s been putting out bombshells for YEARS. Some of the best hardcore influenced deathcore out there.
Black Of My Eyes really did a number on the scene imo. They introduced the bodybang to all the new bands, now the 4-on-the-floor is everywhere.
Abandonment SLAPS
Murder8 is a name for the fentanyl. The drummer has lost his brother because of it.
I'd have to say any one if the new boundries, the lyrics go hard af on that album, especially the Marcus vik feature
Boundaries always hit me, from the last album its Inhale the Grief.
Overall its Actias Luna by reflections or From the departed, dear or otherwise by boundaries aswell
I WAS TAUGHT TO HATE MYSELF BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE
@@thelightyears_ ALL MY FAILURES WILL BE MY OWN I AM UNDENIABLE
I AM UNDENIABLE
I AM UNDENIABLE
WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU
WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU
WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU
GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT
Dude it's pure gold, musically aswell hits so hard
The songs on Your Receding Warmth have some of the darkest and saddest lyrics out there
@@fim1344 they're also uplifting in a way, not just dark and edgy, but about life's struggles and why you should try and overcome them
@@dyache oh 100%. So well written that sometimes it’s hard for me to listen to without getting emotional
Probably The Price of Grace by Convictions. Especially the spoken word part after the second chorus.
Almost every Architects song from AOGHAU
Agreed. Especially Gone With The Wind for me. Gut punch every time.
What I would give by angelmaker was definitely a song that hit me in the feels. They always produce heavy and sad bangers.
Caskets - better way out hit right in the feels. The lyrics hit home
Boundaries- inhale the grief
Imminence- come what may
Lorna Shore's Pain Remains part 1 lyrics hit me harder emotionally than anything else in music the past few years. It broke my heart to hear Will sing "A wrinkle in time
Take what is left of my life
Before you go, show me what it's like to finally know
The face behind the silhouette
In this world I made to be infinite
But within the expanse, I finally see
A world without you isn't meant for me"
Also Boundaries new record has some hard hitting lyrics
Knocked Loose with Poppy are here !
not even 24 hours, there's a new bodysnatcher song out...
currently, this and the entirety of death is little more by boundaries. but for more optimistic lyrics then definitely daylily by movements man.
Songs that have hit me hard with their lyrics lately are Reaching Out by Fit For A King, The Descent and With Regards by Polaris, and Into Despair and The Rope by Currents.
That's one of the hardest things I've ever heard.
Yeah the drummer, who said fentanyl made him an only child, lost both of his siblings within a year of each other, both fentanyl ods. This band in general has pretty depressing lyrics, same with boundaries. Probably 2 of my favourite bands lyrically.
Seeing these guys with Spite and Thrown next month and I can't wait
You lucky bastard
some real mf metalcore in this bitch today LFG
Lyrics on Casey and Ghost Atlas albums hit HARD
Cant remember the last time a band hit me with lyrics but I can remember the hardest. Was going through a hard time when Holding Absence - The Greatest Mistake Of My Life released and the lyrics from Celebration Song and Mourning Song were exactly what I needed to hear at that time.
“'Cause I've earned
A couple days amongst the sun
God knows I've more than paid my dues
For all the months that I didn't wanna live through”
“There is beauty in any loss that teaches you a lesson
All the beautiful friends we leave behind without ever forgetting
Though life will move without you, I will never move along
If this is my last chance to sing you to sleep, then let this be my mourning song”
This song fucks hard
Realize and Rebuid - Boundaries
- Is a real one for me...
Okay your reaction to this breakdown gave me life because usually you're always super animated but your reaction to this one is very similar to how hearing a breakdown or lyrics that good affects me
Hand over mouth, eyes moving around because you're trying to process what you just heard in disbelief lol
For me it’s a song called Oktober in Europa by a German group called Antilopen Gang. It’s about antisemitism, so it’s lyricist pretty heavy
Also I got to see Bodysnatcher 2 days ago and they played this and it hits harder live. That band is going places for a bratdown band.
All of Death is Little More hits pretty hard.
Animal Im Sorry made me cry, it was like it was written for me. Also, every Sworn In song of their trilogy of albums, and a lot of songs from the downtempo era of deathcore.
Over the Cradle by Hollow Front. Had a parent that wasn’t exactly the best and that song hits because of that
I am afraid. Because I'm gonna see Bodysnatcher, Boundaries and Spite live next week (because the Boundaries album blew me away so much, I had to buy tickets)
The entire Boundaries album was an emotional nuclear detonation
This song is awesome!! Bodysnatcher is bringing it! 😎 Time to listen to Suffocate by Knocked Loose. The Poppy feature is the Poppy we need lol. Killer track! 🎉
The entire new Boundaries album lyrics are god tier
For lyrics I love "mental State" by Traitors and "fear and dagger" by paleface
It will probably be brought up by others, but Inhale The Grief from Boundaries hits real hard.
easily boundaries or counterparts
Boundaries hardest lyrics of all time. Any song.
Saw them recently with Spite and Boundaries. I have to hand it to them; they sounded a bit better than Spite live. But Darius ran around like a chicken on cocaine, so that was also really entertaining!
KNOCKED LOOSE KNOCKED LOOSE KNOCKED LOOSE KNOCKED LOOSE KNOCKED LOOSE
I must say first, the whole album by currents "The way it ends" hit harder than a truck but the one that hit me the most was "better days" from that album, damn it hit a little too close to home at the time
