- This videos was taken on approach and landing into Pittsburgh International Airport. It starts on approach from the west, flies past the airport then turns back east (in doing so, providing an excellent view of downtown), then flying over the western suburbs. Finally you can see the 911th Airlift Wing, USAirways maintenance hangers, and the terminal before landing.
Actually, he landed toward the west. I could not see the turn, so the part we saw was mostly the northern suburbs, and at the very end he crossed Highway 60 and landed on the extreme right runway (28R).
At 3:38, you can see the footprint of the old terminal concourses! (The green patches).
Do u recall what airline & aircraft u were flying? Enjoyed the vid, thx for posting it ;-)
That landing wasnt too bad
Wish I could fly...to expensive for 5 tickets
Beautiful view and great weather for flying to Pittsburgh!! Great video, thanks!
