WOW, I see Bandai attempted tp appeal to the female audience with the Merch. I respect them so much for doing that. those dolls HAVE to be extremly collectable now
They still remain my favorite dolls in my collection!
I just got a two pack of trini and Kimberly dolls in box at a savers. I had to see if anyone had a review and found this commercial instead.
Did you know there was supposed to be Power Rangers Zeo Dolls Tommy, Tanya and Katherine that were planned in the fall of 1996, But 3 Zeo Dolls were never produced.
And Tommy was going to have rooted hair! We got robbed
I kept waiting during that year so I wouldn't be using my BATB Prince doll as Tommy for he was extremely tall next to my Power Rangers girls! My Pizza Party Skipper filled in the role of Katherine back then while waiting for her official doll that never came!
@@ladisneyprincesse There were actually dolls made by Creata in the early 90s that used the same body as the Power Ranger ones. They were called Today's Girls, and had blonde hair so they could be Katherine.
@@michaelleary9233 thank you for the info. eBay only has the childlike 80’s dolls and I’ve found a red haired one named Trish from the 90’s Today’s Girls.
@@JTPMalavet Check the seller dtimes5plus3 for a Platinum haired 9" one, it just ended unsold on June 9th. They're probably the hardest to find of all the Creata dolls.
Am I the only one who thinks Hasbro should do stuff like this?
I wonder how many girls threw away the dresses and just played with the ranger uniforms.
I used to give the dresses to my Gymnast Stacie dolls which fit them. They also fit on the uniforms for a while.
@@ladisneyprincesse now did stacie ever morph into a ranger?
Ocelotl Chimalpahin she did for one Halloween.
Oh my God! How was I not aware of these figure's existence until now?! I was such a big Kimberly/ Pink Ranger fan as a little girl! Oh well...still nice to know that they did make Power Ranger toys for the little girl fans too.
I did not know they made a Aisha doll I had Trini and Kimberly.
Me too! I so wish I'd known about Aiesha!
They never made Jason Zack and Billy and Tommy dolls
@@deshawnhenson1350 Actually, there's pics online of Tommy, Kat, and Tanya prototypes for Zeo that never got produced.
The structure of the commercial is suspiciously similar to the Robotech Fashion Doll commercials
I still own these dolls! They were so much fun to role play with and they also fit in my Tyco Ariel gowns so after fighting evil, they got to be princesses! ^_^ Such memories!
How do they fit the helmet
Donte Fulgham I would either hold them by the hair to pretend they were fully helmeted on as these aren't full helmets but masks that cover the front to the sides.
as a kid I always wondered why the Pink ranger had a skirt but the Yellow ranger didn’t, even though they were both female rangers. Come to find out years later that the Yellow ranger was a guy in the original Japanese version.
Even odder the pink ranger toys rarely had skirts, Bandai was being super cheap and didn't include it
power rangers are besed on a japanese show called "super sentai" many of the scenes that we saw on PR are japanese, in japan the yellow ranger is a man, so thats is the simple reason why Aaisha does not had skirt :)
Just got these in the mail yesterday!!! Gotta say putting their power rangers suits are hard!
Especially the first edition Kimberly and Trini. Somehow they made Aisha's suit, gloves and boots easier to slip on until the metallic versions that remained tight. My trick was to twist the suits.
i had like all of them, Kim and Trini, Aisha and then the movie season 3/movie ones.
Thanks for the memories. ^^
Girl Power all the way! ^^
WOW i never knew.... props to bandai for appealing to the gals
I had the Kimberly doll. Her leg kept falling off but she was easily fixed. Not sure what happened to her???
I really wanted one of those when I was little.
I do not remember seeing this commercial on TV back then
in Zyuranger the yellow was a man lol
I don't remember this commercial, but I did have a Kim & Trini doll. :D
I never understood why they made the Kimberly doll have long curly hair since her hair was short and straight in the show.
I just bought these for my daughter.👍🏾
They used Trini's footage. lol
What do you mean they used TriniFootage
The show itself reused stock footage of several recasted rangers,so it isn't really that notable
i had the Kimberly! and my brother actually had a Lord Zed action figure, i just remembered. oh, the 90s...
They could’ve also made a Trini doll. I know she left the show before this, but they didn’t have to completely discard her.
I want to buy these for my daughters
I like the KImberly doll
Mighty morphin power rangers is back in Singapore with all toy r us and Takashimaya shopping centre in 2029 year
@notgillcup to appeal the starting signs of Puberty ?
@birca04 At least Bandai did appeal to girl fans back in the day by releasing these as well as the Auto Morphin figures which sadly they don't do as much today, Power Rangers is supposed to appeal to both male and female viewers, why else would there be female Rangers?
I totally owned these.
0:23 epikest pr roast in history
Wonder if you can fit the ranger suits on to other Barbie dolls?
@SilverZeo88 No haha they only produced the front of the helmets! So they really just have the front and the back is exposed...the hair out and everything.
no one will ever suspect two trendy teenagers are actually power rangers. Except for the fact that the rangers always dress in their own color
oh man I had Kimberly ;u;
i ordered the kimberly doll :]
@StyleGuy08 actually the aisha doll is the trini doll with a darkened face lol
Imma boy and I had the Kimberly doll
They don't even look like Ayisha and Kimberly haha. They just wanted some of that Barbie money. Not mad at that either. They wanted to expand the brand.
I sorta remember this
MMPR dolls reminds me of Barbie dolls.
Well that's what Bandai wanted... they sold well enough, they made at least three versions, two Aishas and sadly just one Trini
Why doesn't Bandai make Power Rangers toys for girls like these?
I think you mean Hasbro
@@michaelbadger3021 This was made before Hasbro got the license.
@@StevenDolce . I know that
I wish I could have those dolls! (I'm 15 years old)
Didn't they have a doll for Trini too?
I have the original with trina and kimberly i didnt even know they made one with Iesha
this didnt take off huh?
I wonder how you get their helmets on?
They were full masks but no back of the helmets.
@Forcystus1337 Aww, I'm a little disappointed hearing that.
the most epic dolls ever!!!!!!
Yes they were and the ones I would play with the most!
i had those dolls b4 good memory
@wtcvidman wouldn't you have been old enough to have seen Leia in the gold bikini?
All we need is Kimberly and Aisha to save our planet. If only that were a possibility.
Wait, they actually made a commercial for these things? Dear god...kill me now...
@birca04 Last I checked, eBay has them as high as 60 bucks including S&H. But all the sets I've seen are for Kim & Trini, and I've yet to see Aisha on there.
kimberly did...
@TheHelldragon worked for my sister she had kim
I dunno man, I was more into Trini.
The Trini doll looks like Rain Pryor.
It's not Trini, it's Aisha, the black girl who replaced her (so no, they didn't turn Trini black, I thought that too, but if you listen closely Zordon says "Aisha")
What there’s no Jason dolls for boys
I had the yellow ranger when she was played by an Asian character. I don't even know they made the yellow ranger into a black girl.
@wtcvidman fair cop
You know what back in the mid 1990’s after Thuy Trang as Trini left from the tv show how about Heidi Lenhart as Amy the new yellow ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers season 2 & 3 MMPR The Movie (1995) Not Karen Ashley as Aisha because Heidi Lenhart who plays Jenny in tv’s California Dreams tv show now she should Star ⭐️ in tv’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers season 2 3 and MMPR The Movie (1995) then in Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers (tv mini series) when Heidi Lenhart left from the tv show now Saban will hired a young actress like Brittany Holmes as young Amy in Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers (tv mini series) sounds cool?
i had kimberly and my sis had aiesha
This did not age well
@notgillcup ...for male eye candy of course
@nmt84 LOOOOOOOOOL!
why would girls have a fuking doll from power rangers
RW:O M G i cant believe that this kind of product actually existed ,whats next Barbie and her friends become the "Barbie Rangers" !? Who would ever think of that kind of product? HASBRO!?😕
Actually, there is a super Barbie cartoon
@@michaelbadger3021 rw:i know that already,i was being sarcastic .
@@jasontachin oh
@@michaelbadger3021 rw:you mean like a series?
@@jasontachin yes
@acheron187
Nah, not me. I was 17 at the time this commercial came out. I'm pretty sure Hollywood, Godiva or one of the other hot women wrestlers of GLOW gave me my first boner, LOL.
nixo
Rip off from barbie
These are a rip-off of the original Barbie dolls
