@@GhostC01 Jones was going to lose eventually in light heavyweight. The fight was getting closer and the takedown was non existent. Moving to heavyweight was a win win for him. He win against Stipe or Francis, he becomes the greatest mma fighter of all time. He lost to Stipe or Francis, so What, these guys are the heavyweights and they are the best in the world. It was a perfect plan until he was paired with Gane. Beating Gane and winning the heavyweight title is paramount, but losing to Gane who lost to Francis does nothing for Jones.

It’s almost scary the way Jon looks as reminisces on his career. The confidence and coldness in his words as he talks about his reign as the 🐐
What is scary is the tactics they are using to recoup the money they spent on the UFC. They recently raised the price again of their PPV, and now they have raised the ticket prices again. The cheapest ticket is $325 and the highest is $9000. For years the UFC tried to make fun of the prices for boxing PPV events and ticket prices, and now the UFC is more expensive. So Jones debuting at Heavyweight is the most expensive event ever for fans, and what makes it scary is that his debut has zero to do with it, it is now their standard price. I remember when they left FOX and they raised the PPV price from $60 to $65, and people went crazy, and they said to relax it was just a $5 raise, but now it is $80 per PPV. The prices are now comical, and the bad part is now that they know they can get people to pay the prices, the price will never go back down. Would not surprise me if in 5 years or so the price will be $100 per PPV. Seems like the UFC did not pay attention to the congressional hearings recently about raising ticket prices and event prices that are a ripoff.

Jon’s demeanor in this fight feels very different. There is a quiet confidence and intensity about him that comes from so many years of dominance. He’s walking in with a huge mental advantage.
He knows he's nearing the very end of closing the chapter on his career.

Growing up I’ve only ever seen Jones’ highlights, never a fight. I got super into mma and the UFC after his last fight and have been waiting 3 years for the return..words can’t describe how excited I am to see this fight.
