If only investing were taught in schools, it would give people such an advantage. My biggest regret is not starting earlier. I just turned 54 with not enough set aside for retirement and awfully late to investing with barely any portfolio except my 401k. I have always been curious about the market and have witnessed people who played the game right and retired early. I have a decent amount of cash saved up and with inflation currently soaring AGAIN, I'm getting worried about retirement, my intention is to retire before 60. How best do I maximize my savings of over $120k?
It’s never too late for you. You need the right investments and your life is set. I'm 58 now and just started investing some time last year,,, Didn't start with much.. And I made my first 100k USD 5 months later. And today, I have a decent $250K portfolio. I should retire soon as long as things remain this good. My only regret is not starting earlier
It has been two great years from the end of 2022 to the beginning of 2025 the S&P is up 53%… The tide will turn again one day it’s best to prepare ahead of time. …
Nice general review and comments. I think as a part of the same concept is an understanding of spending needs and wants and a solid budget. This allows adjustments on both ends and makes the guardrails concept even better.
I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 385K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% annually in dividend returns. any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks or Crypto will be appreciated
As a newbie investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Ruth Ann Tsakonas is my trade analyst, she has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessments, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.
how would you recommend i enter the crypto market? I am also looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally.. What's your take on this approach? and How can i reach her, if you don't mind me asking??
An ignorant comment. Not understanding what your spending leads to is the problem, overspending can be as much of a problem as underspending and visa versa

I retired a year ago at 58. Wish I had retired 5 years earlier.
You’ve been opening my eyes to the bad paradigms the other firms are stuck in
More focus should be on purpose, social connection and routine in retirement. The math was easy. -Early retiree

I've just looked up her full name on my browser and found her webpage without sweat, very much appreciate this...
This sounds great until you start struggling at 75 because your spending at 60 was too high.
