@@Roberob1189 it is kind of pricey unless you find a good deal. I have my scheduled to mow every day. It does not mow the entire lawn every time it mows. It goes in random patterns so it misses alot of the lawn each time it goes out but, eventually it will get everything. The bigger the lawn the more it need to go out. The setup was fairly simple. I'd say the good far out weights the bad. Make sure you buy one big enough for the size lawn you have.
@@Roberob1189 I have three robotic mowers (one large STIHL and two small Husqvarnas), am about to get two more, and would argue that these are often equivalent in cost to what most people would spend on a larger mower (I replaced a ~$2000 riding mower at one site with two ~$700 Automowers). If you have a very small lawn though (that you can push mow in, say, 15 minutes), then this will be more expensive. Like John said, possibly still worth it. If you have larger lawns like me, there are two negatives you might encounter. (1) these will find any holes or trip hazards in your lawn and get stuck on them. Not a big deal but it is amazing how well they find terrain issues that your eyes ignore. Fix them as they are discovered and you’re fine. (2) if you ask the mower to mow an area that is very oddly shaped, awkward, or significantly larger than it’s rated to mow, then you’ll end up mowing the area anyway to help it out. I made this mistake with my STIHL and so need to shrink its mowing area. I have not had an issue with the Husqvarnas.
