If you wash your truck down properly, after every job site . You don't need this. I'm a 16 year veteran concrete truck drive, never had to jack hammer ANY of my trucks. This is the beaver, tried and true concrete truck driver.
unfortunately our company eggheads want you to use less than 10 gallons on a washout, they use verify and want the trucks batched out at exactly what the ticket says.. most batch men don't really follow it but the one who does has the most built up trucks in the fleet. Its not like the old days where they batched you dry and let you add the water you need.
@@SootyMangabey. When you wash out after a jobsite, if they will let you. Just discharge all the water in the wash out area, then spray the back of the mixer off to get rid of the cement film it leaves behind on the mixer. There is one of many ways to take care of a problem. I hope that this helps you out. Oh, and that's only when you are empty.
Seems Ok ???? But IF you do the correct maintenance before the build up starts you don't need this unit. This seems like something lazy people would use to clean a Concrete Barrel. Let it build up then TRY cleaning it afterwards ???? Why not clean the Barrel BEFORE the build up starts. A bit of a no brainer.
