I recently figured out that I am meant to be my sons voice because he is autistic. I felt like everything I tried to do had an end to it, this is why I made a UA-cam channel to show the world who he is. Thank you Muchelle ❤️
I accidentally came across your beautiful channel today whilst I was cleaning my house and making a to do list and then continued to watch around 15-20 more videos... I was having a stressful, anxious day today and you brightened my day and made me so much more productive, relaxed and organised and made me realise that I'm actually doing pretty well. So I just wanted to say thank you so so much for being you and putting yourself and your content out there. Keep doing you, exactly as you are - you beautiful human! ❤️👌 hope you're having a great day
Love this!! I really identified with my Myers-Briggs type (INFJ), and it's great to get more personality tests. I would advise anyone trying to work on themselves to get into the habit of checking in with how you're feeling daily, ideally with other people. It's a ritual in my theater community to do a Check-In at the beginning of our work, and I've been working with them since I was 14. I realized that feeling anxious was basically my baseline at 16, and I didn't want that to be my normal. Checking In has been invaluable to me.
@@Irene-ji8ghWhen I meet up with theater friends who understand "check-in" we both know it's not just a surface "how you doin" kind of question - it's more of a chance to explore how we're really doing with each other in the moment. But with bigger groups of people, that can get time-consuming and challenging especially if it's more of a casual get-together. It's most helpful for me to get a handle on how I'm feeling before going so it's easier to gauge if I feel different later. I do a self-check-in sometimes and usually make a list of my feelings in my phone. It can help to have a pic of the "feelings wheel" too if you want to get more specific (if you don't know what that is Google it - it's awesome!). I'm sure you're a bit of an introvert like me, and I usually have some anxiety before meeting up with people (and during). But it definitely gets easier as time goes on especially if you have people to practice with!
I'm an INFJ too!! I find the Meyers Briggs test VERY accurate for me, and it actually helped me understand myself better, but I know that's not true of everyone. INFJ is such a rare and misunderstood personality type though, and especially in children. I can look back on my life and understand how my personality type played into my reactions to things as a kid and I find it very interesting.
I think a lot of the benefit of the personality tests that they provide a good starting point for self reflection. I am also an INFJ and just reading the description helped me learn a lot about myself I had never thought about before.
I like what you said. The personality tests can be more of a guide, to help you identify things about yourself or question things, but since 1) I may not know myself in all situations well enough to know how I would react and 2) I am changing everyday, it can't be held as "gospel" of this is who I am..
This was so what I needed right now, I definitely feel like I'm in a transitionary phase and it is hard to figure out what i really want. Thanks for the great advice and tips
I enjoyed doing personality tests to see things it got wrong about me...and then I would decide if the things it got wrong were things I wanted to change. I basically only make sure to use them as a leading question for self reflection. Loved the vid!
I absolutely love all of your videos. Sometimes I just go through and re-watch them because you are so inspirational to me. You have helped me simplify and prioritize my life so much, and I get so excited when you post because I know I am going to learn something new :)
Self reflection is a big one, because you can really dig deep and evaluate yourself. Also reference back when you're feeling lost again. Like she said it's a lifestyle, you're not gonna figure it all out in a day
Omg i'm an INFJ too i've been spending so much time researching about it an i've been loving your videos since i found your channel an i'm so happy we're both INFJs
You look absolutely gorgeous in this video!! I think the biggest thing is definitely the questioning. Not just your values but your life as it is happening. Like when thoughts come up or after you do something to question where that came from and why. Or if you notice something repeated about yourself to figure out where that habit stemmed from. Reflection is also always great which I do in a journaling form. I'm an INFJ too, I feel like we're all very reflective lol!
I'm an INSJ ! I recently read a book about the power of introverts and I could really relate and it helped understand a lot of things ! I love the BIG FIVE test. I did it back in March and I'm excited to do it again in March 2018 to see how much I've changed and improved in my weak areas.
this video is so old! but I really have to say that first..meditate, because your stress is the first self-defense against changes, and changes in your life let's you discover your true self. ♥ thanks muchell
loved this video! i think another idea that’s helped me become a lot more aware of myself is to read some of other people’s observations, reflections and memoirs to see what you identify with!
This channel is absolutely me. Or at least what I’m trying to get to. You inspire me so much. I’m beyond happy and grateful that I found your channel. Knowing there IS someone in the world who gets it, is a very comforting feeling💜 Thank you :)
This is such a good video! I think the most important tip was to get out of your bubble. Like you said, personality is very fluid and can depend on your mood and many factors (which is why personality tests are never really backed by reliable science), so it's important to acknowledge that you can change for the better. If you want to be nicer, it's possible. If you want to be bubblier, it's possible. It's all about your habits and your effort.
This video is just what I needed! I just graduated from college and am trying to figure out what I want to do career-wise, so I will definitely be using these resources to explore where I may want to go. And I'm an INFJ too! :)
Emily Fuller ahhh! this is my life as well! I graduated last month and I'm infj and Idk what I'm doing with my life! So glad to hear I'm not alone in not knowing my career yet ❤
I've been going through a rough time the past few weeks and came up on your self improvement videos. You're so inspiring and have helped me out a lot through my self growth process. Keep up the amazing work girlfriend!!!
I'm glad you touched on the lack of scientific foundation for the MB personality test. From what I understand (as a layman who has had a small course in psychology), the Big-5 personality-test is backed up better by the literature. Edit: ok nvm, should've watched the whole vid before making my suggestion 😅
I'm intrigued by the idea that you should let go of any attachments you have with a personality at all. I hear it a lot in mindfulness books/podcasts/etc. As someone with depression, I need reminders that I don't have to define myself by who I've been in the past. Of course it's much easier said than done, but still very interesting!
Funny I just recorded a video about my recent self awareness revelations.. on my way to figuring out who i am, how i'm different, what value I bring... another thing I'm doing is reasing.. ALOT.. it helps me put language/words to some of my strengths that I never saw as strengths
I had a childhood friend who wanted to be a doctor for the longest time. Her parents paid for a couple thousand dollar personality/career test before she went to college. It told her she wasn't the right "fit" for being a doctor...so, now she's doing a business degree, and I see no passion in her for it. Prime example for taking those test results with a grain of salt!
I thought that was another makeup channel, jokes on me! I love the type of videos you make! your videos are so unique and help people become better versions of themselves!
I stumbled upon your channel yesterday, and I absolutely love your content! I'm starting/have started a YT channel with similar ideas/goals and I'm super happy to find another channel that is sharing positive, self-improvement based videos, seriously. This isn't me trying to covertly promote myself, I'm just genuinely excited to find you and your videos! Thank you for all you do.
It's interesting to know that you're INFJ - I was told through a personality test that I was one too even though I rarely feel like it's a true fit. None the less this video has inspired me 🌻
I just really wanted to say that you have made my life a lot easier, physically and mentally. I'm really greatfull for your videos, they help alot🌼 Think I have watched every single video on your channel and every single one is a blessing☀️ Keep on bringing out all the amazing content! Love from Norway🌸
Loved the video, Muchelle! So interesting. I would personally LOVE to read about theories that we don't even have individual personalities. Do you have a link to an article or book you read on the subject?
I've just recently found your chanel and i'm so loving it. I'm learning a lot!! And we're both IFNJ, and they say that's a q rare personality so i guess there's a reason why i'm loving you so much hahaha
Finally took the test. . Found out I'm an INTP and the write up actually made me laugh because it's exactly how my boyfriend describes me. Thank you for another insightful video 😊
One thing that helps me figure out who I am is reflecting on my thoughts about other people's thoughts. Realizing what I think about others beliefs, ideals and values helps me understand if I agree and what i think myself in those aspects.
I would advise to solve enneagram for self realization. It is a character test as well and I have learned so much stuff about myself after solving enneagram. It was the best for me.
I am also INFJ (INFJ-T type) :) . However, sometimes I get other personality types after this test. I think it depends on a mood and current interests.
Omg you're an INFJ! I've been loving your videos for ages now and can't believe you're another INFJ (the same as me) 😂 no wonder I love your videos so much x
It's funny because at the start of the year I took the Myers Briggs test and I got INFJ, but yesterday I took it again and got ESFP :) people do change!
Your videos are beautiful! Thank you for the advice. 💕 Also on a side note, is there a specific way you edit your videos/put a filter on them to give them the pinkish/dreamy look? Or is it just the light you film with? Thank you!
I've never wanted to meet someone so much ! But is there a way I can talk to you even over text ? 💕 i love ur videos and feel like*I'm in quicksand surrounded by sticks but won't pull myself out* I know, deep edit: INTJ
