This has become a worry, my dead body being dug up 10 thousand years from now to be reconstructed. No one would be able to get my hair and makeup done correctly.
Make sure your instructions are on the flashdrive in your coffin.
Have to go to india, they will burn you into ashes and mix that in water and spread you over land, You wont remain..
deep blue
In 10000 years, they probably going to have the technology to recreate you in 3D from your ashes, including your makeup 💄
Easy way around that.
Marble bust.
So sweet madam. .. you are beautiful without hair don't worry it grow apply sesa oil
Hats off to this extremely talented artist
You ain't kiddin'.
Amazing, simply amazing.
Varsha Srivastva ...I second that...even the age spots and hair are realistic...amazing 👍🏿
@@devinrivers5808 ya Devin the artist is blessed by God.
@@Eyes-of-Horus not.a bit.he is highly appreciated
She never would have imagined that even after 7500 years later people would still appreciate her beauty
Applaud the patience and great talent of the person who has brought this young woman's face ' back to life' .... Truly wonderful 👌🏼
Random result. She could look absolutely differently.
@@johnmagic5940 where do you know? Are you researcher?

But probably not since this is actually a long studied science with very specific parameters.

Whenever I see these amazing reconstruction videos, I always wonder what hopes and dreams, if that person loved and lost and if they had been loved, if they were a good person or a bad. Every person has a story... It's sad that almost every story is lost to the sands of time.
Amanda Quezada , I was thinking the same thing, we will never know this woman in person but we will know a glimpse of what she was like, and that she lived, and I’m glad about that.
I literally think that all the time watching these
Me also.i wish I had a time machine.
Shadows and dust..
Amanda Quezada...Beautifully written
I hope she was that beautiful , and had a good life . Fantastic art work.
@IRHanley How brutal? Some primitive people like the isolated sentinelese tribe live decent lives. They were the same height as modern man.
@@blugaledoh2669 the life was very harsh back then , death was behind nearly every activity and other tribes killed each other .
If we're going to be realistic here, she probably died from childbirth. Hopefully not.
@@gillesderais2457
You really have no idea what this woman's life was like.
You think or assume that because she lived thousands of years ago her life was automatically rough???
1st, she lived in a literal paradise.
Gibraltar was and is still located in a mild climate year round.
The region was long inhabited, for thousands of years, since Neanderthal in fact, and that's for good reason. There was plenty of food, sea food, meat, grains, etc thanks to the mild Mediterranean climate.
She may have been highly skilled and therefore respected.
Her facial bones are intact, she at least had no facial injuries. Extended families cared for each from birth to death.
There was no pollution then, unless a volcano blew, food and water were fresh clean and healthy.
The people then had far better dentition than we do because they ate good healthy foods.
Between her people's lives and our extremely overcrowded, polluted, stressful, unequal society full of insane weapons, crazy leaders who put us all on the brink of nuclear wars, our 6th mass extinction, rare fresh clean water, dying oceans etc, that young woman's world is to be envied.
I would trade places with her in an instant.
@@abelis644 yes , I really do , look at some documentarys about that period , read some books , and then comment . Back then they didn't had commoditys such as machinerys , they wold need to do everything with crafting which made them more predisposed to accidents or attacks ,the life expectancy was something around 45 if not 40 most of skeletons back then have sevear damages on their ankles which means they worked most of the time and a lot of fractures on their bones . Also a lot of skulls have holes , as a way they thought they wold treat head aches or other illnesses and you say life back then was good ! Bruhhh
Wow she was a pretty woman
Maybe she had a huge bushy monobrow and some extra mustache to go with it. There's a decent amount of guesswork and artistic license going on here.
@@ivanlagrossemoule Yes the women were simple then, not like now. That was the real beauty.
@LONE WOLF bruh

Per this rendering, I was thinking the same.
I've seen this women... she lives down the street about 6000 years ago
I think I dated her.

I think this is my favourite part of history and archeology. Seeing these ancient things and people being restored and come back to life in a way, showing us a lot more of the world They lived in!
I'm 62 & I recal one of the pioneers of this craft who worked for the police but I can't recal the state in the USA he worked in but he helped to identify remains of skeletons found and given to him to work on and police advertised his result in a paper asking if anyone recognised her and family identified and put a name to a member of their family who'd been missing. Audiences felt he had almost a magical power but he felt in his view it was scientific because the skull dictated the end result. And watching this it still feels awe inspiring and impressive to me. Brilliant work.
Seeing this long-departed young woman come to life like that was just magical! The artist was so careful with every detail and took the time to make sure that everything was done precisely. A+ to him and this video; it was amazing!
Don't you just admire these extremely patient and talented artists!!! Every person always wants to know what they really looked like in every minute detail, Thank You, Sir!!
I've seen facial reconstructions done before, but this takes it to the next level! This truly looks life-like! Compliments to the artist. He truly has immortalized this woman.
The reconstruction almost brings the animation of her life back, making her more relatable , in my opinion. Amazing!
What an amazing artist! Very impressed.
She's pretty
Yes the re-creation is pretty, but an ugly re-creation could have been made with the same skull...
it's pretty because she looks healthy and lifelike
Wow, what an amazing and incredible reconstruction! Magnificent work of art all stemming from just a piece of an old skull. I love how these facial reconstructions; they give us a glimpse of how our ancestors looked like thousands of years ago 🤤. Thank you for the video. 👍☺
She is beautiful! What a blessing to bring her back to "life". Stunningly great video, thank you very much!!!!!!
The clay model was very good. But when he did the final one, I was moved by the wistful intelligent expression the artist created in her.
Very realistic. She doesn't look all that different from people today. Wonderful reconstruction.
Wow!! So talented! I couldn’t help but feel melancholic , imagining about how her life was, the things she experienced in a world that is still a complete mystery to us.
This is the finest facial reconstruction I ever saw . She looks alive. M.Jaén is an amazing artist!
This must be one of the most interesting things i have ever watched. Very intriguing and the level of the artist's skills, just amazing
It's amazing that people are surprised that we look like our ancestors. This is indicative of the failure of our educational system.
Slappy you can thank religion
No one gives af Slappy
That because her fossil is just 5400 BC. Still younger than the Paranthropus fossil.
Anna Grace Well you’re here asshole.
So, you think our educational system can teach everything ever discovered/known by grade 12? And it’s the teachers fault that lazy ass students sleep through their classes? Probably you, too. That’s what HIGHER EDUCATION Is for. Seriously? 🙄. No, I’m not a teacher.
Amazing and beautiful!
now that is artistry. I am humbled and awed by the abilities of some of the sculptors and 3-D artists. I only wish I could create a womans 7000 year old face. Humanity is so talented.
Damn even if she is from over 7000 years ago, she's still incredibly pretty. Really shows you that even beauty can stand the test of time.
Amazing work and what a beautiful strong face she had.
An amazing life like creation of a beautiful ancient woman. l instantly warmed to her big eyes that stared back at me with naive wonder, and her sweet motherly smile. Stunning. What a talent, yes l applaud the master Artist.

That is an absolutely incredible reconstruction. Thank you for sharing 👍
Unbelievable amount of work and probably underappreciated!!
What a talented man. A work of art!

She's beautiful
Eerily lifelike.
Incredible. Going by this rendering, which I know takes some artistic license, she was actually quite pretty. If you dressed her in modern clothes and put her in the grocery store, I don't think any of us would think she looked unusual.
What a super talented artist!!!
Absolutely brilliant work..she was beautiful...I love when they put a face on those people who lived long ago..It so fascinating.
Fantastic, we have the technology and experience to bring the past to life how exciting is that! The guy doing the reconstruction is a genius, I wish I was as talented as him.
Calpeia, we love you
Fascinating with a sense of horror - great artist with an ultimate of creativity!
Superb reconstruction. You have put life into the face again. Many others look the same, blank poses and similar features, but yours is second to none. 👏
My eyes started to get wet seeing you breath life back into her.
And that was almost 8000 years ago!! Very nice indeed.
Outstanding!
Wow! She's beautiful! 🌺
She looks like my aunt.
I'm pontic Greek.
Wonder if they tested DNA.
Hunter gatherers and the country of Turkey
No words to describe that outstanding job .Love when science and good talent work together
Wow what a lot of work went into this reconstructed head. Beautiful result. She looks so realistic. Very impressive. Thank you for letting us see this work of art.
What was so great, apart from everything about this work, was the care the artist took. He handled each part as if she was his daughter. Lovely to see in these stressful times.
Can this artist please redo every other reconstruction of ancient people that has ever been done. Please🙏 Thankyou
This artist is very talented. I like how technology and craftsmanship both play a role in this process. She is pretty - looks like Cristina Scabbia.
Un véritable Artisan-Artiste. Bravo 😘🤗
Interesting and worthwhile video using forensic techniques to reveal the face of an prehistoric person.
She was beautiful
Our ancestors were brave people, exploring and surviving their environment and its hazards they paved the way for the development of our modern culture. And they were beautiful people.
Manual Jaen is an extremely talented man. So many different skills to create this reconstruction. I though they were done by many different people, slightly stunned that just one person did all of that.
Congratulations to the artist!!! 👏👏👏👏 Her beauty came alive and will not be forgotten ❤️❤️❤️
Cro Magnon-> Caucasian. Beautifully done
What an amazing reconstruction! Really good job🤩
Wow!!! That was amazing, to watch her come alive like that! You sir are magic your talent/gift is awesome!
Amazing!
Such wonderful skill. Great choice of music by the way.
You like the music, really?
@@harryhagan5937 Yeah, I thought it was great - for me it struck the right emotional tone for the subject matter - which is revealing the face of a young woman who lived so many thousand years ago - so far away but now so close via the reconstruction.
I loved the music, wish I knew what it was.
@@MrVolvobloke I found out (via the comments) that the soundtrack was composed by the man who carried out the facial reconstruction - Manuel Jaen - what a talented guy!

Excelente trabalho, parabéns aos antropólogos; a face do passado vem a nós minuciosa e realisticamente apresentada. 😀
Kinda looks like my cousin...wow...
Marvelous reconstruction,hats off
The workmanship...wow!
Amazing. I wonder, have these experts/artists ever reconstructed a face of someone who is alive or we know what they look like i.e. a blind test? This would give an indication to how accurate the end result actually is.
If you're interested in how they do this, there's a fairly extensive literature on how forensics artists do this to solve crimes. You can see how the wood pegs were used to mark out the tissue depths on various structures of the face. These are based on averages from real people. The hair and eye color I'm assuming are inferred from the genetics of the people of the early neolithic farmers that came out of Anatolia (modern day Turkey) and effectively replaced the old European hunter-gatherers who had lived their prior (like the famous Cheddar man from England, who wasn't nearly as dark as the famous reconstruction of him implied). In any case, there is a huge amount of this that simply comes down to the artist's ability to recreate a natural-looking face.
It might be hard to get a living person's skull...
So this is how "Westworld" will begin, maybe Calpeia will be Dolores
This is so awesome!! To actually see what a person looked like back then!
Gone but not forgotten!
The Lambdoid suture in the skull looks really open. How old was this woman?
Why wouldn’t she have had clear skin?
Suparna her skin is likely much clearer than it would’ve been in reality. Also she lived and died in a time when people worked hard in the sun day everyday, I would bet she was far more withered and sun worn in reality.
@@codename495 true, plus they didn't have all the soaps, lotions, etc that modern women use....
@anny791 Turks did not live in Turkey until just a thousand years ago, oldest people we know much about there were the Ind-European Hittities
@@deanfirnatine7814 Indo-Germanics.
Ondoeuropean is complete wrong. The bounds are only until the Germans, not to all Europe's.
People say it wrong because they are afraid to sound right winged. It would be interesting to learn how the old Germans thousands of years ago could have been Nazis ( by the way, the Germans of today aren't, too, and not all from the 193üs have been).
Anywaay: The right word is Indo-Germanics. The folks in the west of the Germans have nothing to do with Indo-Germanics .
@deborah DeborahR They know her age by the growth of her skull and her teeth.
What an incredibly talented artist.
A bit of the Irish traveller in there.
I'm guessing she would have looked a little rougher than this.
Why? Look very closely at the up close work, and you see mottled skin from natural exposure, and unplucked eyebrows. Also, other than that, why would a Neolithic Mediterranean "youngish " woman look "rougher" than that?
Gorgeous young woman!!!
Such detailed work, I'd love to do that and bring people back to "life"!!!
Thank you!

date is way off....less than 4500 years old
@Wet Mustard Firstly because the Earth is less than 6500 years old....before you scoff I hold a double masters.....and with all that education I now deem to be " Programming", I now see the real evidence that the "Programmers", find inconvenient and would like to dismiss. There is absolutely no evidence for an Earth older than this....and plenty of evidence for the Biblical account !
@Wet Mustard It is a very technical field.....and the point of which lends to my intelligence. To discount it the way you did....well that means you're not interested in pulling back the curtain on the scam being perpetrated in our schools today
@Wet Mustard the only delusion here comes from the blind..... You don't have to believe in God.... It makes l no difference . You're going to face some and you'll have nothing left but his judgment which will be harsh..... And unending, an eternity. You're the fool my friend
@Wet Mustard you think you're so smart that you're so blind. And I don't even think you're that smart, not even in worldly terms. If you were you'd know that almost everything you've been taught as complete conjecture
WOW, almost gives you chill knowing this person possibly looked liked this thousands of yrs ago. It's like they brought this person back to life and now she is looking back at us, saying this will one day be YOU, just a skull looking at the future.
Fantastic .....colosal așa talent și inteligență ! Sunt impresionată !! Parcă era vie înfățișarea ei ! Bravo ! 👏👏👏👍💖
"Anatolia, (present-day turkey)"
Anatolia is not country, not a peninsula!
And to think she had no idea humans would one day advance in technology and bring her back from the dead where she would be remembered forever
gorgeous woman ...great reconstruction
She is beautiful! What an awesome job of being her to life!
After the fake eyes are put in, I had to giggle at how the skull slowly morphed from, "Whoa, what the heck is a opening?!" to, "Oh. Okay. This is fine," as the clay is added on.
