- The Pasadenas perform their best-known hit "Tribute (Right on)" at the world tribute to the funk in 2003 in Paris. This song, as the concert, is a tribute to all the funk legends of the past.
I Pasadenas cantano "Tribute (Right On)", il loro pezzo più famoso, al "World Tribute to the Funk" a Parigi nel 2003. Il brano, così come il concerto, è dedicato a tutte le leggende che hanno reso grande il Funk.
One of the most underrated bands of all time. They should have gone the distance. They really should have been much bigger. Their two most famous singles are two of the greatest songs of all time.
29th of February 2024 and this song still kicks ass… love it ❤
Damn time flies. These guys are in their 60's now. I was a big fan of their music when they came out in the 80's. Their singing and dance moves should should have given them more success than they had. They were a lot better than many groups that made it big.
Still dancing to this in 2022. Love it.
Yes❤me too
How refreshing it was in 1988 to see a Uk band do something different, the band took its name from 2 brothers Mike & David Milliner, who were born in Pasadena, California, with influences from the Doo wop era of the 50s, 60s Motown, & 70s funk
Bloody brilliant 🤩 one of my favourite songs , they still sound great & have the moves
I memory of Alwyn. Thank you for lending me the LP for Hearty to record. Red Cup 🥤 Approval Tune! Six Colour 🇿🇦 Nation. Thank you for the upload 😎

Timeless
Absolutely superb, great sound, great dancing, one off, would love to see these live!
When the original choreography kicks in, that's when the trip down the memory lane starts.
one of the greatest tunes of all time.
The music nowadays was nothing compared to this old skool soulful funk music that has a positive vibes
Good song !!!! I love this for ever!! i'm 48 years...
merci de l avoir postée, j arrivais plus à trouver le dvd ( à le racheter, l ayant perdu déja une fois ) en plus tu nous mets riding on the train , que du bonheure, merci encore à toi..peace thanks a lot, i lose my dvd, ..
C'est ma jeunesse ça, pullllllll upppppppppppppppppp
Remember these guys were supporting the main act Alexander O'Neil in a
small venue in the UK back in late 80's . Don't get me wrong love Alex's
stuff but as far as live shows go these guys wiped the floor with him.
i wish i could've seen that show..wow
@@0e0 when 'pasadenas' started in UK, 'alex-baby' was already a huge r&b 'soulcrooner' worldwide.
got lots of them 12"s from back then. real vocals and real music & lots of talent
in the 80s and 90s.
nowadays we're searchin' and searchin' but only hot air. NOT only BUT almost ;)
What a great tune!
Grandiose, magnifique 🙏🙏
Fantastic! !!
Absolute class
These guys should come back.
Still listen to their music timeless❤
great track i remember hearing this on the radio when i was like 11 years old
Bu
fantastic. x
I can't dance, but I'm dancing now. Nice one lads, amazing ❤
Come to Ireland please love to see u xxdee in Dublin 😊
The fact that this song never took off in the US like it should have is proof that the musical taste here is AWFUL!!! This song is a classic! It was my favorite song for months when it came out! I used to sing it nonstop!
+Dia Akin That's not true Dia we used to PARTY to this back when it first came out in the Bay Area, California and we still do....
+Ada Lee
Oh my bad. I was unaware that the Bay area represented the ENTIRE country.
Still letting you know that you should not try to speak for the "entire Country" yes it is "your bad"...
+Ada Lee
Well, considering that the RECORD SALES for the "entire country" wasn't enough for them to continue being marketed in the U.S., Im not understanding how me stating a FACT is "speaking for everybody." They spoke for themselves when they didnt purchase the album.
This is whats wrong with this country now. Full of people like you who don't understand the difference between opinion and reality. Their album didnt sell well in the U.S. This song didnt even chart well here. So regardless if you "jammed out" in Cali, they were a commercial failure in the U.S.
Get over yourself. You're wrong and thats it.
Lol....OUCH...
Love this song❤❤❤❤❤
Fantastic band
Esses caras arrasam!!! Adoro!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I'd love to watch them performing this song and "Riding on a Train" with a real live band. I thought they were outstanding in 88 and I still do, wish they had had more success
Sempre grandi bei tempi 😍
I Love this Song !
Belle performance que de beaux souvenirs.
I came across this live performs by the group and they held their singing good. It is shame that the fifth member was not there, (he was two years older then the rest of the group). Its nice to see everyone enjoying their selves.
Love this band!!!
Gr8 Memories

Grandi!!!
Grandi!!!
Grandi!!!!
Thank you VERY much for the info...
j'aurai trop kiffé d'être présent à ce concert, je suis un peu frustré d'avoir loupé cette occasion. Ce ne sera que partie remise
Super 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
wow 75! you are being really mean (but you made me smile)! Those guys are around 50. I went to school with some of them so I feel for them if they should read your comment. For sure they were full of energy back in the day (its called being in your prime) but I still think they did a very good job here and can still move well. Lets enjoy this for what it is as well as their old video. This comment is meant in a friendly way :-)
❤
Americans out of California... one of the Greatest Pop Songs ever.
+micktheMaag I think you're confusing pop and soul
+micktheMaag UK Band x
No doubt these guys could harmonise brillentley
This song's totally addictive!

Two of these guys where from Slough where I live
pure uk soul ...
To bad the backing vocals were NOT live. Still love em!
Riding on a train was originally brought out as the B side to ride on
Where have the Pasadenas gone
I wonder what happened to the fifth guy-Aaron Brown!?.Hope he's fine
The group doesn't feel the same with only four guys .Very hard to find any information about them .
come to holland!!
👊❤❤❤❤❤👌👌👌!
Great to see a bunch of guys who CAN ACTUALLY SING.....put anyone of them on their own (even now) and I bet they could still attract an audience. Unfortunately, you now have Xfactor, and The Voice etc that are just for entertainment and produce NO decent talent whatsoever
What happened to the 5th member?
x2
I have never heard this song. What a GREAT song!!! Is this group still around? Where are they from, USA?
Still around but watch their original back on the early 90s. Your legs will take on a life of their own, great tune.
British - this banger was released 89’
Modern day Motown
Still got the same moves
what happened to the guy that was on the far left?
La musica de London baby!!!
The brits rules dude!!!
In America they no longer play good music!!!!
They're from Clapham, LDN...
Battersea
Just discovered this video, but I regularly play on YT their NYC classic 'I'm doing fine now' , the version with intro by DJ Camilla ---- who was she by the way .............?
I saw these guys at the Albert Hall (London) in April 91, I think it was, when they supported the great Alex O'Neal in concert and indeed, imho it was one of the best concerts ever for me in my life.
Everything about those days was brilliant, the Pubs & Clubs, the Music, the Fun, the People, the Girls (and older women too it has to be said), Sport ... every day was enjoyable then .......... and today ...... what a load of shite!
Clubs and nightlife has gone, the music is abysmal, the fun has been drained out of life, the Sport is thoroughly corrupt and woke, just like Westminster, the people are being destroyed from within by moronic government and unelected institutions, including a Met Police Force that is clearly not fit for purpose anymore, and as for the girls of today ....? Most under 25s have just a single brain cell and THAT is attached to their mobile by umbilical cord - so it's not even worth trying to open a conversation with them as they are a completely ignorant, uncommunicative and lost generation ........
Good vocals and riffs!!
I just wish they were dressed better.
🫠👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Who is the original artist of this song pls ?
What happened to Jeff Aaron Brown😒
Yes that was I thinking
What happened to the 5th member
hey, che fine ha fatto Aaron Brown?
what happened to the other member?
What happened to the th member ?

Where are the Pasadenas
EXCELLENT song but... they don´t play music, where are the great musicians?. They recall me me THAKE THAT and all that disgusting bands. They only dance, (Not too good in fact) they don t play music¡
