I got the factors that led Peter to propose to Hannah Ann, it's just too bad the he didn't have enough of a backbone, and wasn't in touch enough with his own feelings to know that proposing to her wasn't the right thing to do.
He should have ran off with the bachelorette Hannah and been done with it. They both wanted to but felt guilty about other people. It would have been selfish but not as selfish as how this all turned out.
Peter was very manipulated by Madison. She was entitled to feel that way but she knew bringing it up before hometowns would potentially get her eliminated. Her family asked if she shared that with him and they were surprised that she hadn’t because it was so important to her. Peter was also very influenced by wanting to please his mom. She put way too much pressure on the situation. I saw it with Hannah B and Jed. They were both told by the families that it wouldn’t work out and that only brought them closer and defended their relationship even harder. What you resist persists, if you tell people it’s a bad idea, some part of us craves it so much more until we give into that base instinct to take it. I hope Peter finds his person.
I feel for Peter. He seems like a very sweet guy, and yes, a people pleaser. I don’t think it was the right choice to make him the bachelor since he did still have feelings for Hannah Brown; he was obviously not in the right frame of mind to be looking for such a fast and serious relationship. The show did him dirty in my opinion.
Flower Power I don’t know if I agree with that! But we all don’t know how things would have ended if he did end up with her. I think it’s better to assume the best in people. But that’s just how I see it.
I think peter was hoping the whole season that he wouldn’t get a bad edit and tried to be on productions side then they ended up screwing him over and giving him and his whole family a bad edit
@@njidekaike8356 if they did this to a black guy, the fans would utterly destroy them. That's probably the real reason that they haven't picked a black Bachelor yet.
@@njidekaike8356 I miss Mike so much ! What a better pick he would have been . Bachelor was stupid not to pick him and pick some Norman Bates type with the Mother from Hell !
I actually don’t think he got a bad edit. I just think he was THAT bad. Producers could have done him soooooo dirty in the edits. He just literally couldn’t make a choice and couldn’t stand up for himself.
I definitely agree. Peter made a lot of bad decisions and in my opinion, has some maturing and self reflection to do. But I don't think he's a bad guy. I think he's a nice guy that was trying to please a lot of people and in doing so, ended up pleasing very few.
David Cosloff But at least I believe that he THOUGHT he did. ( And actually, I believe that he did - DOES!! He just couldn’t stop thinking about the other! Sabotaged by his ability to love more than 1 at once! )
@@davidcosloff I disagree. If Peter had been Hannah B's final choice, he'd have lost interest sooner or later due to the lack of the chase. He's not ready for marriage with anyone.
I think Peter’s experience is the reason why being a nice guy almost never works. You have to be willing to put your foot down and put it down often. He also mentioned “trusting the process” He just trusted it too much and that ate him up
I think once production realized how bad the season was being received and that peter had hyped up his "unspoiled" ending (half in proposal to Hannah Ann), they tried to save viewership and the romance aspect by sending Chris to see Madison. It was pretty obvious to me that when Peter and Madison reunited he was no longer as interested. And then to say he would take it day by day on ATFR was the nail in that coffin for me.. lol I agree this season was super overproduced.
It’s pretty interesting how chill Colton’s season seems through the lens of Peter’s season. Everyone was going nuts over the fence jump but that seems like nothing a year later.
Omg I've thought "what if they did this?" before...I think it would be sooo compelling especially if the contestants had no idea the lead was watching the footage!! I can't imagine how this season would have changed instead of all the she said/she said
@@lengl1125 yess! Or if the lead has a question about a specific altercation..they can see the footage. Like Victoria P. holding Aalyahs hand right after talking shit about her..or Luke P slamming the other Luke during rugby
Tyler C is with Hannah B, Madi is doing so well and is friends with Selena Gomez, Hannah Ann is apparently dating some football athlete Someone should really check on Peter, or is his Barb already on it??
Hermany Diaz yeah i heard about that but im pretty sure they’ve been friends for years & it was like a week before the finale and they’re both locally famous so i don’t think they’d make out or flirt 😂😂
Muniira Yassin, oh fuck 😭...in that case what is something that’s going good for Hannah Ann to show that she’s doing well because all I had for her was the rumors of her dating the athlete...anyhting to show that Peter is losing so much for the stupid decision he’s made on the show
Watch out for nice guys like Peter. What makes them so dangerous is their lack of self-awareness and standards. They just want to be seen as a nice guy and don’t have the self-awareness to understand themselves and the hurt they can inflict along the way. Case in point, Hannah Ann.
What did you expect? Him to call girls out for all their bullshit? You know how much people would bash him for being “misogynistic”? When the bachelorettes do the same thing to the guys and it’s “empowering”? Why does no one bring up that double standard?
@@muscleman482 haha. wait. So you saying Peter would have been bashed for calling out the ladies for doing what frustrated even the audience? Who would have bashed him when everyone and their momma was tired of the petty drama? Other bachelors have had to deal with drama too. How come they did it waaaay better?
jidf32 Barely any Bachelors have done that. If a man talks to a woman in a “put your foot down” kind of way, everyone pulls the “don’t talk to women like that” card.
@Savvi C No he wouldn't. Everyone is in agreement that this was a catty, immature cast of ladies. You guys are somehow claiming that there is never a way or time that is acceptable for a man to call out a woman on the show? that is just not true. No, the whole season was panned for him rewarding the drama.
@@thedarkphoenix1640 she didnt do anything. Her and Victoria P are friends and then Victoria P told Peter all of these lies about her and that she barely knows her and everything.
I think from the beginning he was overwhelmed. Too soon for so much of Hannah Brown. Maybe he needed better advice regarding how to handle the female drama. It made a gentleman look like a no strong backbone. The show is becoming the worst villains (producers, handlers), of the season. They have become so blatantly mean. All the way through they took advantage of his “nice guy” self. Past bachelors sent the tattle tellers home. That was when he lost the hold on these women and production DID NOT give him quality time to get to know these women. Madison had the right to keep her personal info private. Maybe she should have demanded no mic talk. Madison and Hannah really got beat up. I hate it for all of them . I respect everyone but Barb. Barb should not have been there and she should have been much more tactful. I wish the best for Peter and the ladies. I hope the franchise takes a hard look at what they are doing to these peoples lives. Colton said it right.
I'm done w/ any of the new shows by the Bachelor. There getting to redicilious and weathy, rich, paper thin woman that doesn't really have what a normal single woman goes threw being single n alone.
In defense of Madi, she told him she wanted her husband to be a "spiritual leader", and he knew how very Christian she was. Peter obviously should have been able to guess she was saving herself until marriage.
Dylaina Swan A lot of Christians are like that, but aren’t virgins? He can’t read in between the lines when she’s not very specific about things sometimes.
When Reality Steve spoke to Peter’s girlfriend during Hannah’s season and she talked about how he kinda broke with her around the time of casting and said he was for sure a player, everyone dismissed her. Looking back now, particularly as Peter was spotted literally days after breaking up with Hannah Ann partying and acting very single, I think that he didn’t really want to be in a relationship and he did it all for the fame. No hate in that but that’s more a Paradise path than the the Bachelor and it lead to so many people being hurt. Peter should have been honest, the show even framed it completely differently from Ari which was stupid, think about it, how come Ari and Lauren were so hated when he was completely in love with her and Peter and Madi weren’t even solid but got lots of love from the audience and patching it together at the end? Peter was a completely ridiculous Bachelor, he was selfish at every opportunity and he didn’t even get a bad edit from the show, he got off way too easy
Yeah, I couldn’t date a Peter. For many reasons. I don’t like his personality for one. But outside of that, guys like Peter are “nice” but I wouldn’t trust him around other women.
Dont apologize for defending Peter. The producers screwed Peter over in so many ways, moreso than Peter was unable to make decisions. Truly a victim of and at the cost of producer- meddling drama!!! Ruined his chances for finding love on the show, beginning with Hanna B. and ending with self-engrandizing Madison and her agent who used him for fame.
Exactly, thank you! Madison getting a publicist so soon after the show ended proves that she’s in it for the fame. I think she went in hoping to be the next bachelorette.
@@Lizzie-ve7kt I can't believe nobody could see thru her, she fooled the Public AND Peter. The religious card only works if you are truly in love, like Sean and Colton. She couldn't even look at Peter or say she loves him. Oh well glad she didn't make bachelorette.
7:52 According to Reality Steve, Alayah sent herself home (sadly because of the bullying) and the _edit_ makes Peter look like the asshole. Why they would decide to paint the lead in that way, idk, but it fits in with the general mess of a production this season I guess
Savvi C C’mon you know what I meant as being a player. A person who cheats and sleeps around is a player. Playing with women’s emotions without the intention of commitment etc. His family is a joke. Her moms passive aggressiveness on her insta and the woman bashing the brother does as well. Yes! You read that right. He made fun of Madi’s lashes. Ever heard of his ex gf before hannahs season that just got dismissed? I guess they didn’t make it a big deal since he didn’t win Hannahs season. He got scouted and once he was a candidate he removed all traces of evidence. Even as far as unliking her pictures. If he was a woman pleaser why didn’t he go after Madi? Why did it have to be set up by Chris? Why didn’t peter say he was in love with Madi when he broke up with Hannah Ann? Why did he act single after the break up cuz wasn’t he suppose to be in love with Madi? Why was he caught partying with women? CUZ HE IS A PLAYER!
Savvi C So you don’t think messing with people’s emotions doesn’t label you as a player? He promised the ex an engagement and moving in together. Talking about building a family etc. People dismissed it cuz he had that good guy persona but all of that unfolded in his season. How about him being caught publicly flirting with women right after Hannah Ann’s break up when allegedly he’s “in love” with Madi. The aviation world is small darling. I know people who know him from Delta. His brother and I went to the same flight school too.
I thought he was a “nice guy.” I was naturally rooting more for him because he’s a pilot like me. This guy is a player and don’t know how some people don’t see that.
I agree: He's a player. With his "nice guy" image, and seemingly innocent persona, hes gotten away with it, also, the Bachelor "role " of exploring relationships.
Right!? He was soooo gross! My Spidey sense was tingling the whole season. It just felt like he was lying the whole time and didn't really care about any of the women.
Peter said that Ben Higins gave him advice on the women, which was to give everyone a chance so they could all feel that he cared about them. I think that was bad advice.😃
Unpopular opinion: I think Madison muddied Peters season. She claims to want a Christian man to be head of the household, but came on a very progressive and unconventional show to compete for a man who is famous for going four times in a windmill. They have virtually nothing in common, and on top of that, Peter is clearly just not ready for marriage.
Maybe a little bit too harsh of a comparison but Madison was the female version of Jed this season. 100% in it for fame with zero intentions of marrying Peter. And it mostly worked due to how easily manipulated Peter is.
lexa rae Ruesga peter was still a fan favorite though regardless if people were heavily campaigning for mike. he was so sweet and lovable on the bachelorette... very much similar to jason/blake/colton’s bachelor situation.
Honestly, yes Peter made poor decisions but real talk, by the end of the season I didn’t like Madison either. I’m sorry, she should have known better than to not think something like that could be bought up last minute,
I am old enough to be Peter´s mom. Having said that I think he is a sweetheart. I think "The Bachelor" was not the right environment for him to thrive. All this reality shows are hard especially if you are the lead. In my opinion trying to find love through this path was not the right thing for him. All the criticisms are understandable. There were messy things. I get that. The girls were oh my God !!!!!!!!!! Bad casting. Producers it takes more than looks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Peter stop listening to what everyone has to say and find your inner voice. Listen to yourself.
Please do Barb next. There's obviously something that happened that we don't know about. Plus I was thinking that people who deal with Barb for short periods probably love her. I bet the Pizza delivery guys fight to go to that house, she seems like she'd be a good tipper and pleasant overall. Of course her behavior on the last episode was AWFUL and can't be overlooked or explained away, but I don't think she's as villainous as she came across.
The very end, about Love is blind, is spot on! I didn't even watch it, but I've been in a similar situation (being in love with someone that rejected me and going for someone that loved me as a result) and don't think it can be described it any better. Thanks for that. You've made me understand Peter more, and even relate to him
I still love Peter. I think he got so many catty, whiny cry babies. They turned on him and then wanted him. Like he said more than once, it made him very confused.
I thought Peter was very sensitive and didn’t want to hurt anyone as he had been so hurt by Hannah B. He also was such a close neighbor and friend of Chris Harrison’s, he trusted him and the other producers more than usual bachelors might. I think he really wanted the best for everyone concerned and has taken heat for trying to please everyone. I believe strongly that the core of these. Shows should be told if things come out about the people they are trying to bond with. Hannah should have known about Jed, Peter should have known about Madison, much earlier, and the producers should be researching these cast members and letting the lead know.
good person, bad bachelor. i think he’s a genuinely sweet guy who wants to find someone, but that role was just not fit for him. he made a dozen mistakes & i hope he grows from it. you can’t blame barb entirely for how the season went, just her actions from the live part of the finale (his family dynamics are clearly still solid). you can’t blame the women entirely either because as much as their fights were caught on camera, if you see how they are and act off camera, he did not get a bad batch of women... he just didn’t know how to handle drama since he was so outside of it when the roles were reversed that he ended up stirring the pot. peter is a grown man that needs to be held accountable for his choices, nobody held a gun to his head to do the things he did and said. this season has taught all involved so many lessons & i hope peter carries the things he learned into his next relationship so it can be successful. production so obviously meddled so much with the girls and played with their emotions & only showed their worst sides to the point we couldn’t connect with anyone- like everyone’s favorite is madi but we don’t know anything about her- and got in peter’s head so much... production was very very evil this season and were NOT his friends or looking out in his best interest.
you are right. He is not bad person but.. But. Sometimes when you are to soft, the result is hurtful for everyone in your envrioment. He didnt want to hurt anyone, so he finished hurting everyone.
Agnieszka Pechan I agree, he hurt a lot of people including himself. He cares so much and leads with his heart, and I think he is truly sorry for his mistakes & hopefully his next relationship is successful.
xoxoxoxoxc exactly, we know nothing about them so i feel so wrong judging them and labeling them all these things, such as narcissist, psycho, manipulative etc (bachelor fans use those terms so loosely). while i don’t agree with their actions this season and think they could’ve handled things much better, people are not always going to get along or like each other, it’s natural. people with obvious differences in how they process and handle things are going to clash, just like tammy and kelsey. we only saw their worst sides like tammy and sydney’s big blowup fight at the costa rica rose ceremony, they ended up laughing about it and apologizing to one another off camera (they talked about it on IG live). with how cordial all the girls are after the show, i don’t think it’s fair to hold things against them when they’re learning and growing from their mistakes. VF is surely something... I hate how she acted towards Peter at hometowns & I don’t know if those homewrecking rumors are 100% true, but she carried herself well at WTA, so I think there’s room for her to grow & she has all these friends & if she was truly terrible, I don’t think she’d have them. we only see what producers want us to see, and they can manipulate sound bytes and facial expressions to make a person look bad. production is the true evil of the season, we saw nothing lighthearted and goofy from the girls & i hope they’re able to showcase their true personalities and hopefully stay away from drama within each other if paradise happens this year, i won’t care if they argue with someone from a past season. just no more drama between B24 girls please 😭
Hannah Ann went on a podcast to say that Peter manipulated her and played with her emotions....I don’t understand why he needs defending. He’s already coddled enough by his own fucking mom.
I saw a recent interview peter coughtboff guard I think leaving the gym. But anyhow.. I wanna say that I was impressed with his patience towards that interviewer. Peter truly gave unselfish and respectful responses to all he questions bordering harassment it judt went on and on and that interviewed kept pricking at him but peter maintained mature composure.
Peter will never be in a serious relationship because he absolutely, positively cannot handle conflict. At all. He ran from so many cocktail parties because he was "in a bad head space" that it seriously gave me pause to ever consider boarding a Delta Air Lines jet again for fear that he might be at the controls, and being a pilot myself, you REALLY need someone who can make decisions under pressure - and Peter ain't that.
I normally do not reference my videos in comments on others’ channels, but I think in this case it makes sense to do so because the videos fit together. This video presents an interesting and informative take on the male perspective, and my recent commentary / rant posted on my channel presents the female perspective. If anyone wants to give themselves one final headache before we say goodbye to Peter’s season, it’s probably worth watching both videos back to back for a complete perspective. However, I am still team Hannah Ann, and always will be.
I feel like Peter's biggest problem was that he was not able to LEAD. He followed and did what he was told to do, which is not bad when you're just another candidate on the bachelorette but for the bachelor.... it's problematic 🤷🏽♀️
I feel bad for Peter. I certainly wasn’t his big fan in the beginning (or throughout the season for that matter) but I do not think he wanted this season to go the way it did. He’s being compared to Juan Pablo, and I don’t think that’s fair. Juan Pablo was a jerk all season because he had the wrong intentions. I think Peter truly had the best intentions going in, but got completely blinded by the production and casting.
Has anyone watched the show Un Real? I only watched season 1 but it's based on the producers and behind the scenes of the bachelor. I think I read a contest help make the show, but it was very interesting to watch. It was obviously over dramatized but I can see a lot of what they do happening in the show.
From the start HannaB shoult not be on here, It was Pete's time,...then that the woman complained that Asley CAME back, there is the part, that Pete isn't leading,...and later all those other momentos in the video , I agree
I KNEW WE SHOULDA PICKED MIKE!!!! my mom: but i thought you liked peter me: NOT AS MUCH AS I LOVE MIKE and now i don’t even like peter 😒 however i’m glad my baby (mike) didn’t have to deal with these immature girls
Poor Peter, he is a good guy, he did his best, he appeared to be pushed and pulled from all angles and was trying to keep people happy, not himself. It appeared that he was not over Hannah B so was probably not in the right frame of mind to be the Bachelor..... Nice guy good intentions
I have worked in education for over a decade and can not put more emphasis on how important it is to teach children to be assertive. Let them make many decisions everyday, teach them to calmly stand up for themselves, let them be curious and explore. That will help them understand autonomy, freedom, and ultimately who there are.
I kept saying the whole show that peter seems as if he’s playing a part... not actually doing what he would have done in a real life scenario. It makes sense now
I like Peter, but I think he let others decide for him. Chris asked him did he love Madison and he said yes and I think he has feelings for her, because she wouldn't give in.most men deep down in their hearts respects that type of a woman when they decide to get married, lust doesn't last ,because you go from one woman to the next and really not satisfied.
Peter didn't care about what the Producers did, for his only interest, is to make out as many women as possible, and sleep with last 2 in the Fantasy Suite. He got what he wanted. No commitments, and can move on to Paradise, fall in love then move on to Dancing with the Stars, then fall in love with his dance partner. You know, Peter is a LOVE ADDICT. WAKE UP.
I love Peter and I don't believe all this hate he's getting. Madison played him the worst....and these girls were the most immature, catty, destructive likea-holics ever assembled. Hannah B played him too. I wish they would hurry and put "bigplayer" Mike on so we can shut up about it, I'm tired of hearing about him already. But can we use the same trainwreck of girls and producers Pete had to deal with and let's see how he does.
*Madison had her strategy.* Remember, it's just an opinion. I've posted this opinion on this site and others before. Madison sure got over him quickly enough. 1. Plumping up her Instagram with her own posts or having people helping her. It just makes me wonder what her motives were for going on this show in the first place. These two people are great people but so different. 2. Initial meeting--Showing up in a big paper airplane and long red dress to make a big impression. Nothing wrong with that. But Do Not tell me she or her family didn't know about him prior to that entrance. She knew about him and his reputation. One girl wrote me back that Madi couldn't have known who the Bachelor was going to be beforehand because "they" don't tell you beforehand or no way she could have known. I don't think so. You're always free to leave. 3. She was fortunate to get the first one on one date with him and his parents. She was not curt with them, no hesitations. She didn't make anyone wait. It seemed like the perfect time to get to know him and his parents, make a good impression. The parents, I'm sure assumed she was okay with Peter and the windmill saga. Nothing was said of having high standards or saving one's self. 4. She stayed out of the fray. 5. Kept the mystery about herself through more and more one on one time with him. Any time she could have revealed saying saving herself for marriage. Silence is golden through the drama. Top 6! Yay! 6. Hometown dates...show off parents. Everyone knows the big secret. Calculating the time to reveal. Keep him interested. Be reserved. Don't show your cards too soon. She stayed silent. 7. Okay! NOW! Rose ceremony! Let him eliminate #4 because she knows it's not going to be *her* elimination because playing "hard-to-get" gets them everytime! Pull him aside right after #4 gets sent away. Private time to tell him what the rules*are going to be going forward. So...*Sitting* comfortably, take an inordinate, exhaustive long time to get it out. Make it look like it's painful and hard to get it out, after all, "this is my adventure, too." I have standards and this guy is soooo sexual! Just what I've always wanted and have been saving myself for all my whole life at 23yo. ( BUT bonus that it's on national TV!) Not happy with these other girls in her way. Seal-the-deal already. Serious talk. Getting down to it....with lots of "likes" "pregnant pauses, slow mouth movements, drag it out so it is barely comprehensible to him. Once it comes slowly into his consciousness about what exactly she is trying to say, he repeats it, although much quicker. She realized that she can't say it too quickly, it will sound too demanding and he could get angry, she risks elimination here. Meanwhile...NO matter that other girls are *waiting* patiently, nervously standing at attention in an airplane hangar in high heels wondering what she could be saying to him after all this time. *Waiting4Madi#1* (To be continued...if necessary)
i automatically like all your videos because i love your channel but not gonna lie i did hesitate because of the title lol! but yeah peter is human like all of us he unfortunately just went through some of his messiest relationships on national tv
Reading thru all of these comments, I’m surprised that NO ONE has taken Peter at his word and considered that he really WAS in love with 2 people at the same time!! Bad bachelor?! He crossed every box- really wanted to find love, really considered lots of the girls, with no outside info TRIED to figure out who was really telling the truth- and wasn’t purposely, or thoughtlessly, unkind to ANYONE!! As a person who CAN love 2 at once, I totally understand it!! I truly think that he believed he could marry either one and be happy forever!! And then, when he found out that he COULDNT stop thinking about Maddie, he was totally honest with Hannah Ann and didn’t go on with a marriage that was less than what was fair to Hannah Ann! I think he was totally honorable, and just sabotaged by the process and his own ability to love more than 1!!
i like this video, a lot of the time people are bashing on him without considering his side of the story as well. he did make bad decisions, but they were never out of malice. he just wanted everyone to be happy in the end.
Something I don’t get about peter is how he was always saying he was soooo serious and trying to find his wife blah blah blah but then just did not make good decisions and had some great women, and overall left empty handed. I still think mommy’s feelings are the priority.
Sean Speaks in ethnic families, unmarried children tend to live at home until they are married. him living at home with his mom has nothing to do with his readiness nor the decisions he’s made... yeah barb was very harsh at the finale, but doesn’t mean she did a terrible job raising him. they adore his little brother’s girlfriend and he doesn’t live at home (as far as we know). personal choice, and he’s a pilot, so there’s no reason for him to have an apartment if he’s never there.
Honestly Peter can just have a wait couple more months and people will forget. In the grand scheme of things this show and people opinions do not matter 🤷🏾♀️
I think once he reflects on himself he should get another chance. I don't think he's a bad dude, he just needs to get his mom to understand that his decisions are his and that she should be happy for him. Also, he needs to understand that no matter what he does, his actions are final and make a statement, and he should stand by them. Basically, this baby boy needs to grow up and realize he's deserving of what he wants and no one should influence his decisions. He definitely got pushed around by everyone
i would honestly LOVE to see a breakdown of love is blind during off season, but then again whatever content you've got planned already is almost certainly gonna be amazing
In regard to Colton's season being taken over producers, I think you should listen to his interview with Ira Glass on This American Life. Colton talks about how he tried to "game the system" and trick the producers so that they wouldn't get in his way. It ended up backfiring (obviously) - which lead to his infamous fence jump. It's episode 681 and it's called "Escape the Lab", because really, that's what the Bachelor world is.
I think you were spot on with Peter 👍🏼 i truly believe he felt pressured from day ONE, this flight ✈️🛩 had so much turbulence, I’m so glad it’s over for Peter, he needs to recover from this almost all scripted season🥀 WE STILL LOVE OUR FAVORITE PILOT ❤️ He is a good man, and he will find his partner and she will be so lucky too have him❤️🌹
I think Peter is a great guys who has not yet learned how to put himself first to get what he wants, regardless of outside pressures. I hope he matures in this regard and finds the love of his life. He deserves it and guess what ... he wasn’t the worse bachelor ever. Just a guy too nice for his own good. Good luck in love Peter. ❤️
I think Peter wasn't allowed to think for himself with that God-awful harridian of a mother who probably tells everyone what to say, how to feel, who to like, and as a result doesn't trust that he knows what is best. I think he's a very good person with good intentions who suddenly was under a lot of pressure, got a lot of attention, and tried not to hurt anyone. It didn't pan out that way,but I feel for the guy.
mike is a good person and can hold his own, but i find it so funny people think his season would’ve been less dramatic when he often dipped his feet in drama during HB’s season and BIP. would he have had a happy ending? probably... but don’t underestimate production’s influence they do a good job at pretending to be leads and contestants friends then treat them like shit soon after.
Asking Sydney to call someone out in front of everyone was pure genius. If Sydney was being truthful then Peter would learn exactly who it was she was talking about and if she was being untruthful then she was embarrass herself in front of everybody.
I do not like either Hanna Ann or Madison. And they are already milking thise .... beyond.!! So much for "falling in love"... I dont like Barb´s meddling.
Very well said. You could really tell the producers were leading drama all the way through. You didn't even mention that they scheduled Madison as the last of the fantasy suites lol.. pretty obvious
Don't agree with all the decisions he made but... gave this one a go!
U just spoiled love is blind for me
I got the factors that led Peter to propose to Hannah Ann, it's just too bad the he didn't have enough of a backbone, and wasn't in touch enough with his own feelings to know that proposing to her wasn't the right thing to do.
You did a great job on this. You really have a gift. I am sure the producers and the people on the show always watch you. Great job. Always.
IMO the strongest relationship this season was Peter with the Producers.
which is why everyone thought he was with a producer lol
Lmao so true
I looked up the producer and honestly, wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to sleep with her. She’s hot
It's all fake. No worries.
Think Story i think peter and his mom
I feel for Peter. He seems like a very sweet guy, and yes, a people pleaser. I don’t think it was the right choice to make him the bachelor since he did still have feelings for Hannah Brown; he was obviously not in the right frame of mind to be looking for such a fast and serious relationship. The show did him dirty in my opinion.
I agree 100%!!!
Hayley-Ann Jakubowski I completely agree. Well said!
Hayley-Ann Jakubowski had he ended up with Hannah Brown he would have dropped her too
Flower Power I don’t know if I agree with that! But we all don’t know how things would have ended if he did end up with her. I think it’s better to assume the best in people. But that’s just how I see it.
Flower Power -- Hannah Brown would have dropped him, imo. Peter is too indecisive for her.
I think peter was hoping the whole season that he wouldn’t get a bad edit and tried to be on productions side then they ended up screwing him over and giving him and his whole family a bad edit
@@Xoxoxoxoxc Imagine if Mike and Peter switched places.
@@Tinydancer0502 I agree !!!!
I definitely agree. Peter made a lot of bad decisions and in my opinion, has some maturing and self reflection to do. But I don't think he's a bad guy. I think he's a nice guy that was trying to please a lot of people and in doing so, ended up pleasing very few.
Jocelyn Rose lol oh hi sis, fancy seeing you here 😂 I agree!
True. He needs to figure himself out.
👍
Hannah Ann said he manipulated her and played with her emotions.....
David Cosloff But at least I believe that he THOUGHT he did. ( And actually, I believe that he did - DOES!! He just couldn’t stop thinking about the other! Sabotaged by his ability to love more than 1 at once! )
He's not that into Madison. He's not that into anyone (at least not as much as he thought he was). He prob doesn't know what "in love" means.
Jess -- I don't think Peter was in love with any of them enough to marry.
@@davidcosloff I disagree. If Peter had been Hannah B's final choice, he'd have lost interest sooner or later due to the lack of the chase. He's not ready for marriage with anyone.
I think he's too immature for a real committed relationship. He has a LOOOOOT of growing up to do.
He’s still into Hannah brown
Jess he knows mommy love
100% agreed
It also didn’t help his cast consisted of a bunch of children
It’s pretty interesting how chill Colton’s season seems through the lens of Peter’s season. Everyone was going nuts over the fence jump but that seems like nothing a year later.
I think they need a new twist where the lead is able to see all the footage whenever they want.
Haha that would be so much less frustrating! I'm pretty sure Peter's decisions would have been the same, though :/
Omg I've thought "what if they did this?" before...I think it would be sooo compelling especially if the contestants had no idea the lead was watching the footage!! I can't imagine how this season would have changed instead of all the she said/she said
How about putting in a Mansion Cam so that the lead gets to look in on the girls maybe like 2 or 3 times throughout the whole season?
@@lengl1125 yess! Or if the lead has a question about a specific altercation..they can see the footage. Like Victoria P. holding Aalyahs hand right after talking shit about her..or Luke P slamming the other Luke during rugby
Imagine how good the 2 on 1s would be if it was actually like a trial and one person could just pull out footage and show the lead what happened.
Tyler C is with Hannah B, Madi is doing so well and is friends with Selena Gomez, Hannah Ann is apparently dating some football athlete
Someone should really check on Peter, or is his Barb already on it??
Hermany Diaz 😭😂😂 but hannah ann isn’t dating anyone though?
Muniira Yassin, it’s just a rumor but she’s been spotted a lot with some football athlete getting really touchy and comfy
Hermany Diaz yeah i heard about that but im pretty sure they’ve been friends for years & it was like a week before the finale and they’re both locally famous so i don’t think they’d make out or flirt 😂😂
Muniira Yassin, oh fuck 😭...in that case what is something that’s going good for Hannah Ann to show that she’s doing well because all I had for her was the rumors of her dating the athlete...anyhting to show that Peter is losing so much for the stupid decision he’s made on the show
Harrison said, Hannah Ann is already in Paradise......Waiting to find her love.
Honestly he never looked at the girls from his season the way he looked at Hannah B
It was also ALOT less stressful on Hannah’s season!
Had he ended up with Hannah B , he would have cheated on her eventually
LaR. Periodt
Watch out for nice guys like Peter. What makes them so dangerous is their lack of self-awareness and standards. They just want to be seen as a nice guy and don’t have the self-awareness to understand themselves and the hurt they can inflict along the way. Case in point, Hannah Ann.
They often end up with crazy women who destroy them. Happened to me.
*In defense of Peter:* He was spineless and Producers ran all over him like they did no other bachelor?
jidf32 💯
I wanna see in defense of Alayah! That poor girl was done so dirty!
Victoria P turned into such a huge villain with the whole Alayah deal
I got bored and skipped most of the show. What did this Alayah girl do?
@@thedarkphoenix1640 she didnt do anything. Her and Victoria P are friends and then Victoria P told Peter all of these lies about her and that she barely knows her and everything.
ikr and all the girls were being so ugly to her on her last night there! like who told y’all it was ok to treat someone like this?
yeah they gave her such a bad edit it's not even funny
"The road to hell is paved with good intentions" seems appropriate here, if a little exaggerated.
I can never dislike a Bachelor Fantake video 💁🏻♀️
In defense of Madi, she told him she wanted her husband to be a "spiritual leader", and he knew how very Christian she was. Peter obviously should have been able to guess she was saving herself until marriage.
Dylaina Swan A lot of Christians are like that, but aren’t virgins? He can’t read in between the lines when she’s not very specific about things sometimes.
I agree, but she should still have been more assertive.
Better question, if she knew that is such an important thing to her, why did she sign up for Mr. 4times-in-a-windmill?
But her position had nothing to do with her saving herself, it was her demand that HE save himself from that day forward, or she was out.
I feel empathy for both of them. But I don’t think he could just assume Madison was waiting. Hannah was also very Christian and she was into sex.
Took the words out of my mouth. I don’t know how people don’t see this.
Yeah, I couldn’t date a Peter. For many reasons. I don’t like his personality for one. But outside of that, guys like Peter are “nice” but I wouldn’t trust him around other women.
I hundred percent agree. He definitely got way off too easy.
I was very disappointed in him. I hope that he finds what he’s looking for. He was a nice guy. I think he was just easily influenced.
And that's why nice guys burn down the village. They entertain evil
I’m just saying that if Mike was the bachelor I don’t think this would happen, and yes I’m still salty about it
Dont apologize for defending Peter.
When you have a season with the cattiest contests ever with a lead that was mostly a people pleaser than you have a recipe for THE WORST SEASON EVER
Yeah we got trashed this season
He looked so rough on the season finale....
I kept thinking he looks like a half dead mouse that a cat has been torturing.
He looked like a man who had been. Through. Some. Shit.
7:52 According to Reality Steve, Alayah sent herself home (sadly because of the bullying) and the _edit_ makes Peter look like the asshole. Why they would decide to paint the lead in that way, idk, but it fits in with the general mess of a production this season I guess
According to Reality Steve, Peter is a player too.
Savvi C
C’mon you know what I meant as being a player.
Savvi C reality Steve spoiled Alayah stuff way before peter said anything about his season going unspoiled.
Savvi C
So you don’t think messing with people’s emotions doesn’t label you as a player? He promised the ex an engagement and moving in together. Talking about building a family etc. People dismissed it cuz he had that good guy persona but all of that unfolded in his season. How about him being caught publicly flirting with women right after Hannah Ann’s break up when allegedly he’s “in love” with Madi. The aviation world is small darling. I know people who know him from Delta. His brother and I went to the same flight school too.
Savvi C
By trashing his whole family what do you mean? Seems to me it was all true and he backed it up with screen shots.
I thought he was a “nice guy.”
I was naturally rooting more for him because he’s a pilot like me.
Very. So he felt he had to "explore" even if that meant sleeping with some, smh
don't go to ben higgins for advice lol go to sean lowe, colton, jason and arie- some made mistakes but ended up with someone on the show
Peter's not a bad dude, but he needs some life experience and judgement
And some herpes
Unpopular opinion: I think Madison muddied Peters season. She claims to want a Christian man to be head of the household, but came on a very progressive and unconventional show to compete for a man who is famous for going four times in a windmill. They have virtually nothing in common, and on top of that, Peter is clearly just not ready for marriage.
Maybe a little bit too harsh of a comparison but Madison was the female version of Jed this season. 100% in it for fame with zero intentions of marrying Peter. And it mostly worked due to how easily manipulated Peter is.
@@rootstorising7348 Why did you copy someone else's comment?
correction: fan favorite was mike
*mike for bachelor*
lexa rae Ruesga peter was still a fan favorite though regardless if people were heavily campaigning for mike. he was so sweet and lovable on the bachelorette... very much similar to jason/blake/colton’s bachelor situation.
lexa rae Ruesga MIKE FOR BACHELOR
Lara Castillo amen!
Honestly, yes Peter made poor decisions but real talk, by the end of the season I didn’t like Madison either. I’m sorry, she should have known better than to not think something like that could be bought up last minute,
Madison took one for the Team.......Again, trying to save Peter from drowning.
Bingo! Colton was very up front about virginity from the start. No ultimatums or surprises
Yasss! Kinda glad the season is done now and we can look back at all these moments
I feel like he was done dirty. He seems like a genuine, horny but sweet guy. They wanted a Puppet and got it.
Thank you for uploading. This season was the worst season ever.
The Crab Ragoon got me lmao!
good person, bad bachelor. i think he’s a genuinely sweet guy who wants to find someone, but that role was just not fit for him. he made a dozen mistakes & i hope he grows from it. you can’t blame barb entirely for how the season went, just her actions from the live part of the finale (his family dynamics are clearly still solid). you can’t blame the women entirely either because as much as their fights were caught on camera, if you see how they are and act off camera, he did not get a bad batch of women... he just didn’t know how to handle drama since he was so outside of it when the roles were reversed that he ended up stirring the pot. peter is a grown man that needs to be held accountable for his choices, nobody held a gun to his head to do the things he did and said. this season has taught all involved so many lessons & i hope peter carries the things he learned into his next relationship so it can be successful. production so obviously meddled so much with the girls and played with their emotions & only showed their worst sides to the point we couldn’t connect with anyone- like everyone’s favorite is madi but we don’t know anything about her- and got in peter’s head so much... production was very very evil this season and were NOT his friends or looking out in his best interest.
you are right.
The fact you chose to do a 'in defence of...' for the lead and not a contestant like Victoria f speaks volumes 😂
Hannah Ann went on a podcast to say that Peter manipulated her and played with her emotions....I don’t understand why he needs defending. He’s already coddled enough by his own fucking mom.
This is a great representation of why it’s so detrimental to be a people pleaser and indecisive
Thank you , God, that I never have to watch 2 hours of madison's Tammy Fay Bakker eyelashes again, or her Jim Bakker persona.
However, I am still team Hannah Ann, and always will be.
burningtreebelle girl I clicked and was gonna watch until I saw it was over an hour 😊
I feel like Peter's biggest problem was that he was not able to LEAD. He followed and did what he was told to do, which is not bad when you're just another candidate on the bachelorette but for the bachelor.... it's problematic 🤷🏽♀️
Conclusion: Peter has no spine. Also, an over-produced show is ironically really bad
Oh... you bored 😐 Peter isn’t a terrible person. He was just a bad bachelor. They also gave him girls who weren’t compatible like at ALL.
Peter AND Madison were messy as hell
From the start HannaB shoult not be on here, It was Pete's time,...then that the woman complained that Asley CAME back, there is the part, that Pete isn't leading,...and later all those other momentos in the video , I agree
I KNEW WE SHOULDA PICKED MIKE!!!!
my mom: but i thought you liked peter
me: NOT AS MUCH AS I LOVE MIKE
and now i don’t even like peter 😒 however i’m glad my baby (mike) didn’t have to deal with these immature girls
which is what we all needed 😭
i little part of my soul died with this season
Poor Peter, he is a good guy, he did his best, he appeared to be pushed and pulled from all angles and was trying to keep people happy, not himself. It appeared that he was not over Hannah B so was probably not in the right frame of mind to be the Bachelor.....
Nice guy good intentions
My issue is he was an indecisive child with no backbone, regardless of producer manipulation or bad contestants, it will always go back to that
I have worked in education for over a decade and can not put more emphasis on how important it is to teach children to be assertive. Let them make many decisions everyday, teach them to calmly stand up for themselves, let them be curious and explore. That will help them understand autonomy, freedom, and ultimately who there are.
The only thing that Peter gets out of the show is the cocktail glass scar on his forehead. Give the final rose to the scar
I love your take on peters brain 🤣🤣 you’re always so creative
I kept saying the whole show that peter seems as if he’s playing a part... not actually doing what he would have done in a real life scenario. It makes sense now
I really hope this channel takes off. Such high quality, and I'm not gonna lie your personality hella cute.
Mike for bachelor in the next season.....I refuse to be silenced
I like Peter, but I think he let others decide for him. Chris asked him did he love Madison and he said yes and I think he has feelings for her, because she wouldn't give in.most men deep down in their hearts respects that type of a woman when they decide to get married, lust doesn't last ,because you go from one woman to the next and really not satisfied.
the REAL lead of this season was the production.
Tina T How did Madison played him?
How exactly did Madison play him? If anything, he played her, Hannah Ann and Victoria. Peter is the player!
*Madison had her strategy.*
Remember, it's just an opinion.
( BUT bonus that it's on national TV!)
Not happy with these other girls in her way.
*Waiting4Madi#1*
(To be continued...if necessary)
i automatically like all your videos because i love your channel but not gonna lie i did hesitate because of the title lol! but yeah peter is human like all of us he unfortunately just went through some of his messiest relationships on national tv
I think he was totally honorable, and just sabotaged by the process and his own ability to love more than 1!!
....and these are the same exact points that separate real MEN from the boy still holding tight to his mommy's apron strings.
i like this video, a lot of the time people are bashing on him without considering his side of the story as well. he did make bad decisions, but they were never out of malice. he just wanted everyone to be happy in the end.
Something I don’t get about peter is how he was always saying he was soooo serious and trying to find his wife blah blah blah but then just did not make good decisions and had some great women, and overall left empty handed. I still think mommy’s feelings are the priority.
Hes a live at home momma boy that wasnt ready for marriage hence why he made some bad choices this season.
Living at home is part of his culture and he is a pilot who travels a lot. Living at home =/= bad decisions.
Honestly Peter can just have a wait couple more months and people will forget. In the grand scheme of things this show and people opinions do not matter 🤷🏾♀️
This is very insightful ty
I think once he reflects on himself he should get another chance. I don't think he's a bad dude, he just needs to get his mom to understand that his decisions are his and that she should be happy for him. Also, he needs to understand that no matter what he does, his actions are final and make a statement, and he should stand by them. Basically, this baby boy needs to grow up and realize he's deserving of what he wants and no one should influence his decisions. He definitely got pushed around by everyone
i would honestly LOVE to see a breakdown of love is blind during off season, but then again whatever content you've got planned already is almost certainly gonna be amazing
Very well thought out video. Well done!
Waiting for this video all the way from Amsterdam :)
Colton lied about his #1 to the producers from early on. He let them think that Hannah G. was his favorite.
Let’s not forget Peter straight up had a concussion most of the season.
Madeline Lopez FOR REAL😂
I think you were spot on with Peter 👍🏼 i truly believe he felt pressured from day ONE, this flight ✈️🛩 had so much turbulence, I’m so glad it’s over for Peter, he needs to recover from this almost all scripted season🥀 WE STILL LOVE OUR FAVORITE PILOT ❤️ He is a good man, and he will find his partner and she will be so lucky too have him❤️🌹
April Anderson-Daum Amen !!!
Maybe the producers made corona virus so everyone would be stuck at home, and would be forced to watch "listen to your heart"!
LMFAO
Now that's a conspiracy theory! :)
This was very nice. Liked it
He made bad decisions, but I believe he’s a good guy, with good feelings
don’t understand how he was the “bachelor” who would want him?? terrible terrible choice and terrible season. mike wouldn’t have done this to us
mike is a good person and can hold his own, but i find it so funny people think his season would’ve been less dramatic when he often dipped his feet in drama during HB’s season and BIP. would he have had a happy ending? probably... but don’t underestimate production’s influence they do a good job at pretending to be leads and contestants friends then treat them like shit soon after.
Still better than Juan p
Gabe De Sousa eeets okay
The only saving grace of Juan P was that he didn't give in and propose. Peter would have come off a lot better if he hadn't proposed to HA.
There’s no defending proposing to Hannah Ann knowing he truly wanted Madi. sorry!
Thank you for posting. You saved me of boredom ☹️
Asking Sydney to call someone out in front of everyone was pure genius. If Sydney was being truthful then Peter would learn exactly who it was she was talking about and if she was being untruthful then she was embarrass herself in front of everybody.
"Alayah comes back with receipts." Gold.
Peter is honestly a sweet guy.. he just got played by the producers
Yep, tin foil hat Barb didn’t want Peter to get dragged. So she purposely made herself the villain to take the heat off her son.
