Question from an Australian paramedic; what is a "First Aid Squad", or more specifically what purpose do they serve? Is Chester not served by professional paramedics?
A first aid squad, also known as a quick response service (QRS) is a fire department staffed BLS EMS unit that responds to medical calls in rural areas where an ambulance may be far out.
