Oct 1, 2023 Eastbound through the mountains from NC into Tennessee

Enjoy the mid afternoon ride through the mountains. I don't recommend turning on the audio... unless you just want to be subject to me talking to myself and singing along badly to some Special Consensus.
This video really does not do the area justice. if you like what you see it's worth visiting Ashland NC, or any of the national and state parks and forests in the area. I DON'T recommend stopping in the Seiverville/Pigeon Forge area... that's just a madhouse without the roads to handle the traffic.
