I almost don't have the words...just lovely. And the beautiful little girl. She looks like she has just discovered something utterly incredible and is savoring every windy moment.
This is my 1st encounter with your Channel. Congratulations on doing your dream. I have never heard of a Grinde 27' but, I'm impressed, your Grinde 27' double-ender is a real sweet pocket cruiser. I'll bet she is very responsive to the helm and turns on a dime. With an almost 44' mast and 10' boom, she probably is good in light as well as heavy air. At almost 6' of draft, you will be good out in the big water but like the razor blade, you will need to be very alert in the shallows. Enjoy, be safe, well, happy and healthy.
Dear Gene, thanks for your heartwarming words! Yes indeed, she´s an outstanding danish design from the seventies, but still a kind of modern. In her class nothing comes close (to my humble opinion). Actually you can follow a circumnavigation undertaken in a Grinde by Holly Martin! Just search for Wind Hippie Sailing. Best regards! (Uwe from ScuderiaGrinde)
great film. mine still stands in the backyard and is being prepared for next year .. hopefully i will be done after 3 years of total renovation in and outside
the torture is the film it self :-) . I hope to finish of the ruf in the main cabin. I have taken 2 m2 basla out and they will hopefully be replaced with foam next spring. I hope to be able to particepate in next years silverruder challance.

Excellent choice of accompanying music. Saint Saëns if I am not mistaking - or Debussy? ;-)
Others I am sure have asked... where you sailing .... great video... beautiful.
Hej Jerry, thanks for your comment. The film is taken in the Kiel Bay (western part of the Baltic Sea).
Grinde view from the outside if you're microdosing
