So enjoyed your video and love the way you embrace the Essan culture. Brought back many happy memories for my wife and I as we watched it together. We met 40 years ago and had kind of did the same adventure together. We still love our farm and recently upgraded my swimming hole to a bonifided swimming pool.

Been married to a Thai for over 15 years now. Spent a lot of time visiting up in Isaan over the years. It’s beautiful but I could never live there. We are fish out of water there and I just don’t understand what westerners see in the place as somewhere to live full time among poor village people. Most I’ve seen just end up getting bored and eventually leave. What guys do for these women though. I took mine back to the U.S. When we finally did decide to retire back here we moved to Hua Hin.
