- Making homemade ice cream in our soft serve ice cream machine. I used the simple vanilla ice cream recipe from Cuisinart.
Recipe
Simple Vanilla Ice Cream recipe from Cuisinart
1 Cup whole milk well chilled
3/4 Cup granulated sugar
2 Cups heavy cream well chilled
1-2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract to taste
Mix milk and sugar until sugar dissolved
Stir in heavy cream and vanilla

can you substitute ingredients for non- dairy and non sugar??
Won't there be alcohol in the ice cream cos the vanilla extract wasn't heated

@@benniwithabSeveral people advocate adding a little vodka to enhance the texture, so alcohol isn't a bad thing (unless you don't touch alcohol, of course).
I always feel that what comes out of *any* ice cream machine is soft serve. Is this different (I mean apart from being able to swirl it)?

FARRRRR from soft serve. Soft serve has absolutely NO grainy type texture. Like dairy queen or sonic ice cream.

This is like an easy bake oven 😂 so much time spent making ice cream which literally melts in a minute. There's a cheaper alternative its a ball which kids can play around with 😊
