I gave you a like just because you put the zip tie on the end of the torch to keep it neat. Nice video overall, i love how you keep everything tidy and no have it birdnest all over the place or have the wires exposed to dirt.
Thanks man!! people dont notice that. I have to have a clean work area, always. Look at my recent videos that just came out. Im sure you will like those also.
Back in the late 70's I went to Community College night school and got stick certified when I was working oil field construction. Wanted to be a pipe fitter welder! Figured I needed about 20K back then just for a used dually pick-up truck, Lincoln, basic tools and accessories. Lending institution just laughed at me and relatives were hesitant! Another dream never realized LOL! Never tried TIG or MIG?
I’m hoping you can answer a question for me. I’m thinking about buying a 255EXT. Doing really thin/small aluminum parts is capability I need. A lot of lower cost (Not Miller) welders I’ve tried start up with a giant blast of current even when set at the lowest current setting. Could you light up on the bottom of a soda can at 5A AC and see what happens? It shouldn’t blow a hole in it, I hope.
for what you want to do your gonna need a foot pedal.. I only use a foot pedal. If you buy the 255 EXT, you are going to get the updated model. I think it looks better. Ask for the upgraded pedal. if you get the cheap one you get what you pay for and think your machine sucks when its the pedal thats junk lol. www.everlastgenerators.com/product/nova-foot-pedal-anti-slip-grip-22k-%CF%89
Yes, I will be getting it with the nova package with upgraded pedal and cables. I’ll subscribe, but I would still love for somebody to try lighting up on the bottom of an aluminum can and post the results. Set the machine for 5A AC and foot pedal won’t matter cause that’s as low as the machine goes.
