They all just show various men losing their minds and going more and more insane because they feel alone, isolated, misunderstood, out of place, and angry. People a hundred years from now could still watch these masterpieces and find them relatable.
Now, this is hands down one of THE BEST versions of perfect girl music. It does as good as original, while being completely different with having strongly another original from the origin vibe. I REALLY like it. I would say, i REALLY LOVE it. This is what i will listen and never forget my whole life. This remix is a brilliant job. A remix that feels like an original soundtrack, that is still connected to first version is just another level of remixes. Thank you very much for this masterpiece, you are awesome!
Excellent commentary! Ironically, Mareux’s version itself is a cover of one of The Cure’s song. That song was released in 1987, the same year that American Psycho is set. Now, both song and film are constantly linked. Quite funny, isn’t it?
There's endless more amazing edits for The Perfect Girl and American Psycho. The best ones are The Perfect Girl Slowed edits. I myself prefer edits to The Shining, but American Psycho or Taxi Driver are timeless classics as well.
