Dony, thanks for all of your great reviews. You should make videos of the gloves in use. It would be great to hear the sound they make when hitting bags and pads. And you can show off your muay thai skills!

+Luis Rivera is different , with bgv14 you can clinch better and is lighter, BGV1 is ok if you dont like to feel a grip bar in your palm , but not really different about wrist support , thank you

Hello - I'm a female that currently owns a TKBGSS-01-BU-A : TOP KING Muay Thai Gloves SUPER STAR (AIR) - BLUE in 16oz. for sparring, I have found that they are HUGE as my hands are pretty small/medium. They are pretty heavy for my for padwork. I am also debating on the BGV1 or BGV14 in 12oz. for clinching and padwork. Is the BGV14 a similar tight fit? Where does the wrist support fall (longer than BGV1?). Which one do you recommend for a female that will ONLY use this glove for padwork and clinching?

BGV14 is more Tight Fit then BGV1, i would recommend BGV1 Breathable with Grip Bar

hi, is different the fit between from BGV1 and BGV14 and for wrist suport is better BGV1, i might suggest you BGV1 or BGVL3 Twins Special, both are very good for clinching and padwork

What makes you like the BGV9 over the BGV14. Aren't they the same thing but with the BGV14 having a non-leather shell/outer?

Not a fan of this glove. Maybe I need to break them in but the knuckle protection is poor. Wrist support is decent but not what I expect from a brand like Fairtex. I'm 5'5", purchased the 16oz and even then the fit is a little tight and my hands aren't even big, even without handwraps they're a tight fit, with them it's even worse. Feels like my middle knuckle is being pressed down. I've had them for 2 weeks so far and I'm pretty disappointed in them. I'm going to give them another month of use before I give up on them. I wouldn't recommend anyone buy them. There are plenty of absolute quality gloves out there for less money. I paid $70 for these. Not sure what Fairtex was thinking when they made these but they need to go back to the drawing board. I rate them a 3 out of 10. Maybe someone else out there had a better experience with them than I did.

Hey Carlos, what do you think about the microfibre material?
I was looking for some new gloves, the hand positioning in the bgv14 seemed good. Could you elaborate on why you find the hand protection to be poor?
      Cheers

I thought the material was decent. I ended up holding on to these until end of September and still didn't getter any better for me. I thought the knuckle protection was poor because the padding area seems kind of flat and doesn't absorb the impact of my punches very much. I did give these gloves to a friend of mine back in September and he actually likes them. Personally I'm just not a fan of these. Not the best glove by Fairtex. If you like Fairtex, go with the BGV1. The Fairtex Mexican style glove is a great glove as well if you're looking for a western style boxing glove, almost comparable to the Cleto Reyes but more economic price. I hope I answered and helped you on your questions

I from Russia bought such a model on ebay, when I came to the post office thought a counterfeit, I had 12 ounce gloves velo, the fairtex 14 was very thin for the declared ounces
