Brilliant interpretation, love the way they drive forward in the first movement. The passage at 21:30 in the slow movement is absolutely heavenly. I gather the first violinist is playing on a Guadagnini, sounds amazing. What instrument does Francois Robin play? It projects really well.
This is perhaps the masterwork by Mozart in chamber music, together with the clarinet quintet. The following quintet K 516 in g minor is more pathetic; but the perfection of this one is really Olympic.
