I had the 175 with this clock cluster style and the pear shape tank in 1978 it was a uk 'S' reg. had so much fun with it, great bike and cheap to get hold of.
I passed my motorcycle test on a 1979 CZ 250-471.4 Deluxe, back in July 1982. I still have the bike and it's still on the road with 80,000 miles on the clock. It was the first motorcycle I owned, which I bought in March 1980, from Etna Motorcycles. Out of all the motorcycles I own, my old CZ is my favourite.
Had one for many years 286 English pounds in 1972 , only real problems crap clutch and throttle cables and dynamo bolt comes loose and points gaps cause misfire , points on end of dynamo shaft

Same here..passed my test in 1979 with a CZ 250. I then progressed to a Honda 550 4 K. So different from the clunky old CZ.
My first motorcycle in 1974 was one of this bikes older siblings. great to see one rolling :)
You do know that the cylinders can be bored out to take 58mm. Jawa 350-634 piston, to make it 306cc.
One of my CZs is a 1978 CZ 305-471.3 Sport.
