I have the exact same powerbank. I use it to charge my gpd win max while gaming. Works well and cheap for its performance. Can't wait for my steam deck reservation email to arrive
Duuude, I bought this to charge my win max too but didn't know if it was gonna work or not. Have been jumping reviews after reviews and no one mentions it. Just found your comment and I'm so relieved now haha! Quick question though, does it manage to charge the win max from 5% to 100% at least once if not on? Thanks!
2:26 Actually the battery in Steam Deck can charge at max 20W and when it's fully charged, Steam Deck under full load takes 25-30W. So even 30W charger can be enough, all that means is your battery won't charge while the SD is under full load, but when it's turned off it will charge the battery at max speed
I play games at full loud and if it could only charge at 20 and use up to 30 I would still run put of power at some point. But that has never happened so that it charges lower then uses is not true.
@@jeffreykorporaal the battery can charge only 20W, but the device as a whole can take up to 45W. So if you use 30W charger, even under full load you will have few watts remaining to charge the battery and if it was in sleep mode, then it wouldn't take more than 20W
You see that "L" icon when you turn it on and in between usage it means it's on Low current mode for those low current devices like earbuds. Press hold the power button to turn off that feature to optimize charging😉
@@KryptexHvH I don't know, for me it is enough. Few days ago I connected this powerbank to my mac and power bank got overheated (become too hot, a bit bulky in one place and few cracks appeared on corpus). Looks like MacBook power consumption is more than it can handle.

Hey, thx for the review!✌ Could you plz tell me if it is possible to charge a laptop that has a 4mm/1.35mm power input? That is, with the help of a USB-C | 4mm/1.35mm cable, plug the USB-C tip into the powerbank and plug the notebook into the other 4mm/1.35mm tip?
Yes, there is a converter adaptor for that you need to buy separately. But your laptop need to make sure it is the same compatible charging voltages with the powerbank.

A power bank having a metal shell would make it even more likely to short than a plastic shell since plastic is not conductive. Your reason for why it's cheap makes no sense and it sounds like you just got a lemon. Most people online talking about this power bank say it works well for them.
