The cap hits for Mike Williams and Kennan Allen next year is about 65 million btw lol. But they’re “spending money on the wrong side”. This doesn’t include Herbert’s contract either btw.
In total about to spend 116-120 million on 3 these OFFENSIVE players is probably not how you build a 53+ man rosters.

OOOO Jim Harbough with that Dline and honestly that secondary should be good linebackers are iffy but that Secondary and that Dline should be dominant. Jim will have that team as a top3 D in the league without making any real roster changes next year. I beleive that whole heartedly, and he will have that Offense playing alot more physical and they have a legit QB with actual weps. I would not be surprised at all if they are a top 4 team in the league as soon as next year just with that coaching change.

However, Telesco has failed to have solid late round draft selections thus, they are not a deep team; he has failed to fix the offensive line going back to Rivers; and he has failed to fix the defensive line! He failed to accomplish these things in 11 years. He shouldn't have lasted this long.

The Chargers have a bigger problem than the coach although he was THE absolute problem, its also the city/culture. California will never rally behind the Chargers, wanna fix the problem? Switch cities and build. Hot take, but why not move to cities in the following states, Iowa, Nebraska, Oregon or Utah. I know these are tier 3 states/cities to choose from but take a look at college football, these are die hard fan bases in these states. Worth a look, no?

TT is not as good of a talent scout compared to other GMs. This is evident in the later rounds. Don’t be fooled by the smoke and mirrors because he drafted Herbert, Bosa, Derwin, Slater, etc. All of the best players he drafted LUCKILY fell to the Chargers because other teams passed on them. A lot of smart couch GMs would have drafted the same people because they were the BPA (best player available). Where he fails are the later rounds which is why the team struggles with having quality depth. Although late round don't always pan out, other teams like BAL, KC, SF, PHI, etc. have a talent of finding hidden gems that become immediate impact players and that’s how they remain consistently good without having to hit a home run on their first rounders. SF finds guys like Fred Warner and Hufanga, TT drafts guys like Rumph and JT Woods. Also, TT seems like he’s the type to sit and wait his turn in the draft. Is it because he’s not a savvy negotiator? We’ll never know. If he knew somehow MIA wanted Herbert, would he have made moves to make sure he gets ‘his guy’? AJ Smith was better at drafting IMO. ZERO division titles and 2 playoff wins in 11 years, TT was overdue.

Bosa , Lindsley , James , Eck , Davis , Everett , Kindricks , ALL need to go , trade what you can & cut OR let the rest walk ? I'd try to redo Mack & Williams contracts & I'd do a stats BASE deal with Williams & his injuries problems ! draft & you MUST hit on these this year & go form there ?

Dark horse candidate for Chargers HC: Jon Gruden. He was like Bill O'Brien, a pretty good coach who just shouldn't have had that much influence on personel, he messed up a number of draft picks and roster moves, be he can coach. Sure, Chargers would get some blowback for hiring Gruden, but that would pass. His stock is low right now, he'd probably be cheap and bringing in a GM who has final say on all things personel could make all of this work.
