Great to note that K9 groups of CRPF are participating in the security set up at the Paris Olympics.
Saw many getting excited about kaveri engine on tejas.. But this is only possible after min 5-6 years.. Government should provide more funding and resource to reduce this time frane
These hi-tech systems require many trials to discover effective function, defence-attack facets, service in war theatres like Rajasthan and Ladakh (or nearby bases) both for maintenance and repairs, quick replenishment of spares and so on. To manufacture them in Bharath takes thousands of qualified engineers and technicians ranging from metallurgists to electronic warriors.
That India has achieved so much in just Ten years is truly impressive. Credit goes to Modiji, Rajnath Singhji and Jay Shankarji and the thousands of engineers and technicians who are patriots.

along with TEDBF, ORCA design should also be done in parallel. if Kaveri engine is ready in next 5 years, then Bharat can have its own Rafale class fighter jet in the form of ORCA with twin Kaveri Engines saving billions from MRCA deal. The govt should force IAF to accept the ORCA as IAF seems to have eyes only for foreign jets.

which "new dry Kaveri engine" is being planned for the testing?! wasn't there news that new dry Kaveri engines were delivered couple of months ago?! so, what is the reason for them for taking months to plan for the ground testing of the new dry engine that supposedly delivered the performance in their previous testings?!
Looks like it is highly unlikely that the Kaveri Engine along with After Burner will be ready for production in next 5-6 years!!
Multiple variants of Kaveri are being created simultaneously.

I'm not sure about this idea of making a whole different jet for the very few orders the Navy alone can put in for carriers, and we can't assume any foreign sales. The cost would not be amortized across a lot of units which is typically how you pay off R&D. Why not put everything towards getting AMCA out on time and in good shape and have a naval version of that instead? And then there's setting the navy up for the next several decades being on fourth rather than fifth gen.
Naval aircraft are quite different from land based aircraft.
Also significantly more expensive due to their specialization.
Even more would have to be spent creating a naval AMCA than a TEDBF.
TEDBF has to arrive much sooner than AMCA.
TEDBF program utilized the Naval Tejas prototype (1 engine) for testing many aspects of TEDBF enabling design improvements even before the aircraft has been built. This is due to similarities between both aircraft. Not possible with AMCA which is a one shot 🥃 deal.
AMCA is too large to fit the deck elevators of the Vikrant.
Many TEDBF will be built if 6 x aircraft carriers will be built.

The ORCA is not needed as Tejas Naval is being used as the TEDBFs precursor test platform on land based replicas and the Vikrant itself.

Effectively TEDBF is an improved twin-engine variant of Tejas Naval.
Reality is naval aircraft have significant changes even if derived from land based aircraft.
In may ways, it is better that it starts from a clean design than having to modify an existing land based design.
Not many countries have that luxury, but India does due to much lower labor costs on all fronts - R&D, material, manufacturing, testing and deployment costs.
Also strategic independence is a rising concern especially after non-delivery of GE-F404 engines and many other prior issues.

There is nothing to rationalize. The cost of TEDBF's development is but a fraction of the 1.2 trillion spent on the f-35 produced by the thousands.
At last the first view of the TEDBF front Canards i Think this will be a game changer for the Tejas when it comes to selling these abroad as all new planes have front canards by not having them ages the looks to a 70s jet fighter and not a 2024 one

Armenia's military budget is $1.5 billion (2024)[2]. Percent of GDP= 5.3% (2024). That's not very much to pay for soldiers and equipment.
Military equipment is mostly sent as military aid (free) from India to Armenia.
Any additional orders gained by kalyani should be forwarded to ordinance factory board by default. Business is to be retained and not to be refused by kalyani. Kalyani should further order to ordinance factory board. The same process should be done vice versa. No order contract money to be turned down please.
