The only downside to the Israeli operations was that there were not another few thousand pagers and walkie-talkies given to Hezbollah operatives.

I don't know when they ordered these pagers , but when they did, they ordered from Mossad…

You are spot on. The hizbala calls itself a terrorist organization but since they are so big they are an army. They need logistics and infer structure. And that is tangible hard targets. If you have good intelligence
    An we have great intelligence

Why ignoring the possibility that iran already have a n.korean single stage fiss. and an (highly unreliable) delivery vehicle? why focusing constantly on those centrifuges?

Israel is conducting flash operations and speculating on the effectiveness of its ops. The larger the flash the more desperate.

Israel- according to foreign reliable sourcess- has a 40 years advantage with developing ambigious ammo and semi ambigous platforms. it is anything but mutual whatever. is it really as important as its presented?

the "tri-conical" silluette of their (relatively) advanced nodong-wtf clones is designed for in implos. device ( which - goes without saying- already exists, tested and "operational". unlike the gun-ty.- this one need to br tested. as it was in 2016).
so what is the enrichment obsession?

Nobody takes Antisemites at the UN seriously, and nobody allows their "laws" to supersede national laws. The UN lost all credibility long ago. The only _"international laws"_ countries (mostly) abide by are treaties negotiated between sovereign nations.

The pager operation targeted the civilian branch of Hezbollah, not its military branch, which doesn't use pagers but uses fiber-optic communication. The civilian branch is an integral part of non-military civil society in Lebanon. It was not mobilized for war at the time of the attack. Its members were at home with their families, out shopping, on public transportation, attending funerals. The law of war does not allow targeting of members of an enemy force when they are not actively engaged in war and are integrated back into their civilian communities. A little girl had her face blown off as she was running to hand a beeping pager to her father. The pager was rigged to beep first, then explode, precisely so as to target the hands and the face. Please explain how on any conceivable reading of the laws of just war this is permissible, and not an instance of state terrorism constituting a war crime.

Nonsense. Hizbollah had issued those pagers and walk talkies to its military commanders as well as lower echelon fighters. It’s true that other elements of Hizbollah that are not fighters , but support personnel, would also have those pagers, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t legitimate targets as members of Hizbollah. My uncle was a cook in a mess during the Korean War , but was killed during an attack by the N. Koreans. It was sad, but not a war crime. He was a member of the U.S. military and a legitimate target. When your a member of a terrorist organization like Hamas or Hizbollah, or say ISIS or Al Qaeda or whatever, you take your chances.

@@jefffixler8858 Even if they were all military, they were not mobilized, or militarily engaged but were participating in everyday civilian life, exposing innocent civilians to the attack. Your uncle was actively deployed. Targeting soldiers who have returned to civilian life and killing innocent people they are in contact with is a war crime. Ask former CIA director Leon Panetta, who said on CBS New Sunday Morning, “I don’t think there’s any question that it’s a form of terrorism."

And what are Hezbollah daily attacks on Israel since Oct 8-23 ?
Thanks to Israeli secret service a major Hezbollah attack in Oct 7style was averted.
In this shadow war Israel has to try ways to meutralize this terrorist group by causing as little civilian damage as possible.

Decades of deplorable terrorist conduct targeting anyone indiscriminately and some buffoon has the unmitigated ordacity to describe Israeli tactics as unlawful and not within humanitarian guidelines. Your statement takes stupidity to an other level of ridiculous.

Very few innocent civilians were injured or killed in the attack. Perhaps a dozen or so. That actually makes sense . If you’re a Hizbollah member, you’re not going to let that device out of your sight. That is your communication with your terrorist leaders who may call on you at a moments notice. You’re not going to let the kiddies play with it. As for the idea that Hizbollah terrorists are immune from attack when they’re out of uniform performing everyday functions is ridiculous. By that logic, the U.S. could and should not have killed Bin Laden as he was at home with the wives and kiddies and certainly not in uniform. Same for the head of ISIS , Bhagdadi. The Hamas terrorists in Gaza are not wearing uniforms these days. They sneak around in civilian clothes among civilians . Are they too immune from attack? That a leftist Obama acolyte such as Panetta doesn’t like Israel is hardly surprising. I assure you that most of the security establishment in the U.S. was delighted with the great pager caper. Many of them well remember the Hizbollah attack that killed hundreds of marines in the early ‘80s.

Considering the fact that the IRGC is an extremely radical religious organization who's ideological offspring in Gaza, Yemen and Lebanon all appear to have no problem initiating wars they know will and have resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths because of there fanatical religious beliefs, what gives Reuel Marc Gerech such assurance that the IRGC wouldn't do the same with a nuclear bomb. Dozens of IRGC's leaders have openly discussed their certainty that Israel will be destroyed and they also brag about how fearless they are of death. After spending a large part of my life listening to other scholars who understand Jihadist terrorists in the Shia form who strongly believe that the IRGC will use a nuclear weapon against Israel. While I hope to God I they are wrong and that I am wrong. I think they are driven by an uncontrollable hatred of Israel and the Jews because of the humiliation they have suffered and their desire to prove the superiority of their divine revelation that they will start WWIII. Help me understand what give Reuel Marc Gerech and the CIA assured Conference that Iran will not unleash world catastrophe?
