you've posted a video what a pleasant surprise!! the 2GB GDDR5 variant of this card would perform much better I expected it to run Battlefield 3 at a constant 60 FPS but with these results I would lock it to 48 FPS for a smoother experience. In PUBG the performance was horrible I'd install PUBG Mobile instead. surprisingly it launched Apex Legends and that was surprising. in Battlefield 1 I expected the i5 6500 to be pegged at 100 percent utilization yet it held up really well but this GPU's performance was bad due to it's Vram limitations. I hope your channel grows more and faster but you need to post more frequently for it to happen until then I'll like watch and like all the videos.
Hi @Fernando-Rodriguez, nice to hear from you. Yes, I've got some things going at moment and making videos is going to have to take a back seat for a while. The 2GB GDDR5 730 would have performed much better, but I didn't want to spend £30.00 on one, I've picked up better cards for less. Yes, Apex Legends surprised me too, although it did look awful. The i5 6500 is turning out to be a fairly capable quad-core, although it's reached it's limit running GTA V with OBS recording. Thanks for the good wishes, I wish I could do more, but at the moment this is a hobby, so get to it as and when I can. Cheers, Bob.
Hi @Agent-ie3uv, and thanks for your comment. I haven't tested myself, but checking the specs for the HD 8570 1GB, I would say it would be faster than my ASUS GT 730 1GB DDR3, as the HD 8570 has a 128-bit memory bus. Even more so if it was the GDDR5 version.
I can confirm that HD 8570 is a better card but for your own sake don't run modern games on either of the two for emulation purposes and older titles it's fine.
Hi @jft67, it depends on the specification of the GT 730. Against my Asus GT 730 1GB DDR3 the R5 430 is faster. Against a GT 730 with GDDR5 memory, they're probably about equal.
