How to Dodge Fox-3 Missiles! IT'S EASY!!!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 сер 2024
- Gunfrog teaches you the basics of pulse doppler radars as well as the best ways to evade top tier missiles like the AMRAAM. Fox-3 missiles are not hard to evade if you can understand the process of how a fighter jet is able to lock enemy targets.

Instructions not clear, cranked dat robocop and the missile just said "YOUUUUUUUUUUUU"
Gracias papa frog for dumping your knowledge upon my gilbucky head
Why thank you Mr gun frog for filling my gillbucky with important knowledge
The problem is not doging one fox 3 but 8
Thank you for the very gilbuckius information, now I can play top tier without wanting to throw my PC out the window as much!
All these are perfect for 1v1 but what’s frustrating in WT is having 15 other enemies launching Fox 3’s at you at once
I needed this, the aim120s have been eating me alive while im grinding for said missile.
The radar can still see you if you are going cold the same speed as the a adversary. Because even if the closure rate between the enemy jet and you is 0 m/s the ground still moves toward the radar at the speed the jet is travelling. Therefore the radar only filters out targets that are travelling the same speed as the jet and not exactly 0 m/s as you explained in the video
Im sad that most players dont know even 10% of this information :(
Good vid! :D
I love this channel.
I have been cranking with the Aim-7 merges for a year without understanding it was an actual tactic. Great video btw.
irl most pulse doppler radars can still see a target even when it is seemingly "stationary" as long as it isnt against the ground, so to notch one needs to also be in front of terrain from the perspective of the enemy (i dont play warthunder, so i dont know if this is simulated in there, it is in dcs)
Good info! Sunscribed!
Thats cool and all until you're facing 3 f14's with pheonix while being in a mig23 with only 4 sectors in your rwr and basically no way to retaliate
Thank you frog with a gun
thanks homie
That frog is more scary than all the missiles coming towards me.
This video made my day super gilbucky
im scared, the gun frog is agressive, im gonna trust a trusted adult
War thunder must have fox3 in naval also for him to know how to evade them another good video 👍
I found u on tiktok, u r a funny guy, thanks for the info ly
🔫🐸❤️
Why a frog with gun knows all this info
My gilbucky head now now’s how to dodge these annoying missiles
I love this explanation papa frogy im a potato need simple instructions
Well god dammit gilbucky thank you very much for dumbing it down for a simple mind and giving some very good pointers for successful notching. Very much appreciated and utilizing these strategies have had an immediate effect.
Lets hope this lets me grind the 420000 rp needed for the gripen c
Oh and gilbucky I guess
I feel this in my GILBUCKY
well this was fun GILBUCKY
Cank before that AIM-120 gets your gilbucky
FUNNY FROG MAN POSTED
What a giga frog
This would be ideal but if you have multiple fox 3s coming from different directions its impossible to notch them all
now I only need to know how to dodge multiple fox3 at a time, bcs everyone is spamming it.
Gilbucky inspired me to grind more
Just so you know, there is more to this as a fox3 has its own radar, and it moves to you on an intercept path. There are more things you can do to doge it.
One thing I want to put down, late gen RWRs are able to detect range, and altitude can easily be predicted by banking until you lose radar signature, as the top of your plane has no sensors, ias said in the video. It's very simplistic and barebones, but helpful if you fly 10m above the ground or 10km above the ground. Hope I can get a pin for this! :)
I am an engineer I wanna sit here and hear about how radars work
except the 120s in warthunder dont really gaf if youre within 10km, which seems to be the only distance a russian can get an r77 to consistently lock rn
fucking love this vid and the channel
Gilbucky moment
What if you are notching while descending or ascending, will that affect the enemy ability to continue tracking you or do you have to notched at a parallel level to the ground as well?
2:52 you get a rough estimate on the RWR on how close the thing locking you is
GILLBUCKY!
Gilbucky😎🔛🔥
does this video help with f14 high up in the sky killing you before reaching enemy players? like against it
The metho d u called cranking is not a crank that’s snaking. Cranking is keeping the enemy on the gimble limit of the radar so that the enemy missle has to fly a longer distance to you compared to your missle to him.
I'm in :D
Does notching still work if the missile was launched from significantly under or above my plane?
GILBUCKY!!!!!!!
I've been cranking since this was released 8 days ago no sleep plz help
ok but WHAT ABOUT CLOSER RANGES? like with my f-16A i need to get closer to those amraams slingers bc of the 9L and no matter what i do i die if they send a fox 3
or am i just supposed to run away from them and let my 80% f4s team die
and like multypathing no work bc of those dobai tower trees and triangle mountans
Gilbuckyy
2:57 You can see the range but its not accurate, the closer the 'ping' the closer enemy is
gilbucky
Gilbucky
If its so easy, what's your K/D?
GilBUCKY
gilbucky!
Nah bro they need to name the first NGAD “Gilbucky” instead of some boring name like “eagle II” 🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸
spams 100+ chaff. meanwhile non bvr 60 chaff only mfers still getting clapped.
Glibucky
GilBuCKY
Wtf is glibucky?????
This guide sucks when an aim 120 is launch under 5 km, too complicated to notching
At that point use IR
CRANKING
BRO CALM DOWN IT NOT THAT DEEP
