@Nikhil, you are coming up with excellent content with WTF series. One humble request is if someone is deviating from your questions or when you think the audience does not understand the answers, please interrupt the guest. Thanks again for the wonderful series.
The most incoherent answer to a straightforward question. I wouldn't want to be in a negotiation with him and definitely not have him negotiate on my behalf. Pritam da needs help ..
I was scouring the comments to see if anyone else felt this way. The constant fiddling and facial expressions was truly distracting. Glad it wasn’t just me getting irked as horrible as it sounds. 😂
He is answering the question as to why big names charge a large portion of the production costs. He is saying that this happens when the artist is either kept in the dark about the business fundamentals (actors) or do not have a handle on the production houses (musicians).
I think he's just trying to say that if you don't want to pay the actor a hefty amount upfront then they should be willing to share the revenue with them instead (which apparently doesn't happen right now)
I bet future RCs in competitive exams would be based on this guys instruments that record, analyse, summarise, organise, debate and explain information that are illustrative, non illustrative, hard bound paper bag jacketed, non jacketed, with forward introduction table of contents, index that are intended for the enlightenment, understanding, enrichment, enhancement and education of the human brain through sensory route of vision... some times touched, just to make it extra difficult for people.
@Nikhil can you please add name tags and their roles/ positions on the clip videos. A lot of us do not know the people you interview. Knowing them would make it for engaging
To all those who keep on complaining why Nikhil keeps on asking and prompting it between because he is learning in all kind business and opportunities in India and wanted to expend beyond Zerodha into other markets. Also he donates some amount at the end of the podcast for budding talents
The guy made absolutely no sense but he tried to defend himself so kudos to that but yes actors fee should be reduced and it should be according to the box office performance as well
Medical professionals in India are the ones who get the lowest pay /fees in spite of being highly trained highly skilled extremely talented and in spite of being in highly risky work They are too disunited not knowledgable about things outside their area of specialisation and because of human and emotional factor involved
Most stars charge for their popularity, not talent. A producer is also a human and swayed by agents who market them really well. A well marketed product can charge more even if its shitty. There is no dearth of actors in the pool, if a producer understands monetisation, he will never fall in the influence of these "agents".
why Vijay Subramaniam is acting foolish frequently touching his beard and laughing . I know he's a entrepreneur but image is something he should maintain as we can see from other folks in podcast.
Number 1 why was he constantly sticking his tongue like a snake in between. Give him a tooth pick if something’s stuck😂😂😂😂 Pritam da copycat da.. There’s so much more talent around. There needs to have more governance in this space and more laws on copyright etc as it’s still run like a warlord system
There is a wonderful interview by Aamir Khan around the release of Talaash. He outlined that the fee an actor charges is a factor of public he/she can pull into theatres. If a lady co-actor brings in more public, the market forces will dictate the compensation. It is more a factor of market-demand than anything else. It's the same with modelling. Women are paid much more than men because they dictate demand.
Weird how many people are hating on a slightly convoluted but perfectly rational thought: Make artists stakeholders in the IP and you might get better results. How is that irrational or difficult to understand?
EVERYTHING BECAME TEMPORARY WHEN NIKHIL KAMAT SAID PUTTING A NECK ON THE LINE FOR MANUSHI CHILLAR 🤣 NIKHIL IS UNDERSTANDING THE UA-cam ALGORITHM IN A GREAT WAY TO BECOME FAMOUS 💯 LOVE FOR NIKHIL ❤
Bro shat on the mic for 15 mins straight without answering the questions. Wtf does story economy and ip do to answer the question. Straight up answer the reason behind charge.
To all those who couldn't understand what he is trying to say remember that's why he is a top celebrity agency owner.😂
This guy's answer is like my answers in exam. There is no starting, there is no end. Hoping to confuse the hell out of teachers with jargons.
😂
He explained it very well u are just not listening
Why does he move his face ?
😂
Came across as super arrogant
Confidence trumps gibberish

I'm guessing he was just being nice here
The actress is manushi chillar, actor is akshay kumar and movie is prithviraj if anyone is wondering
Then it's justified.
At what mins sir..?
There is a sense of clarity that Nikhil Kamath brings through his questions and breaks down otherwise complex ideas/concepts - thank you for that.
The most incoherent answer to a straightforward question. I wouldn't want to be in a negotiation with him and definitely not have him negotiate on my behalf. Pritam da needs help ..
This dude's constant fiddling with his beard irked me throughout the podcast
such anxiety..he just wants to snort
white things at play
I was scouring the comments to see if anyone else felt this way. The constant fiddling and facial expressions was truly distracting. Glad it wasn’t just me getting irked as horrible as it sounds. 😂
He’s a snowman, likes his lines white.

Haven’t seen bakchodh like this..seedha bola mera percentage hota hai celeb ko badi fees dilwaane me..mai kam dilwaunga to mai khatam
Perfect example of beating around the bush😂
Money makes money! Understand the eco systems with pragmatic mindset. Investments or Expenses is a battle to evaluate
if u can't win them confus them 😂

Why a CEO’s salary is equivalent to the salary of thousand of employees in a startup?
IMO one reason is supply and demand.. Loads of engineers willing to work for low compensation because of lack of jobs
Nikhil looks like he has zoned out for sure
Totally agree with Vijay. He didn't mince his words. To the point, sharp and incisive.
nikhil asks good and intrusive questions but these guys are just going round and round
To all those who keep on complaining why Nikhil keeps on asking and prompting it between because he is learning in all kind business and opportunities in India and wanted to expend beyond Zerodha into other markets. Also he donates some amount at the end of the podcast for budding talents

Great content, good questions, good debate, entertainement community needed to hear these problems
The beard guy is making wierd faces. It is distracting.

Change the name of this video to "WTF is this answer"
this is the best look for nikhil kamath so far..
It is all about demand and supply, an actor gets paid more if he has the worth to pull back money from market.
Kuch samaj nahi aaya.
How we can start our own celebrity agency??
Why’s he touching his beard so much!!!
What non-sense the pay parity was just not responded to
bhai snort krna bandd kr, naa mooh control mei aur na he jeeb
Zindagi ke 17 minute waste
Bro cannot leave his beard alone for first three minutes

Perfect non-sense logic...
This guy just sabotaged the entire episode
The beard guy is awesome - so much clarity on what he is saying.
You are asking right qtn to the wrong person. He will never accept the truth coz he gets commissioned every time an actor makes a multi crore deal.
Rest of the panel going,
isme mera kyaa kasoor
I would probably understand a child jargon much better , than listen to this dude 😂😂
Bolo zubaan kesari 😂
Organic chemistry's answers look like
3:29 - Nikhils look when the has to hear BS & still look like he give a fuck.
Shah Rukh Khan silhouette in the pie 🤣🤣
What is he even trying to say?
why Vijay Subramaniam is acting foolish frequently touching his beard and laughing .
I know he's a entrepreneur but image is something he should maintain as we can see from other folks in podcast.
Bijli ki batti gull
Number 1 why was he constantly sticking his tongue like a snake in between. Give him a tooth pick if something’s stuck😂😂😂😂
Pritam da copycat da.. There’s so much more talent around.
There needs to have more governance in this space and more laws on copyright etc as it’s still run like a warlord system
that’s because he’s on hard shit.

Bahut upar se nikla.. reminds me of complicated subject in engineering
Death of character actors in the movies due to lead actors taking more money
so confusing...
I kinda knew this answer was going to be a clip/short
Typical "Viva answer... "
15:18
Thabk god to thus talk....now i know better to avoid this whole talk given how much this guy is yapping mindlessly and nikhil isnt even stopping him
Weird how many people are hating on a slightly convoluted but perfectly rational thought: Make artists stakeholders in the IP and you might get better results.
How is that irrational or difficult to understand?
This guy is bad speaker
