I'm so glad I finally found Native Djs!!! I'm NATIVE and been in the rave scene for many years and FINALLY I found my NATIVE BROTHERS making BEATS!!! IT KEEPS ME POSITIVE ON THE RED ROAD!!!
'the germ travelled faster than the bullet...but we are not a conquered people' tugs at my heart in 2022 in a way it didn't when i first found your music maybe around 2016
This sound just THUNDERS, rolling across the planes like thunder, ground shaking beats, a message that knows no walls, no borders or barriers; nothing can stop it.
The Dancers were AMAZING. The movements are very specific even though they look somewhat random - the precision of these Dancers are something to behold. MITAKUYE OYASIN
@@mysticmogwai8184 3 reasons I can think of, 1 mesmerized by the stage show and want to show respect, 2 crowded 3, it's a CBC main stream show so many non-full-on ravers :) in my opinion :)
Tribe Called Red are Awesome!!! And their best composition (besides R. E. D. and an Indian City) is How I Feel ✊ It is one of the most powerful protest songs in history of music. Everyone in Canada should hear it!
Why doesn't this have 100s of 1000s of views? They're fantastic! I first heard of them through Tommy Orange's novel, "There There". Colour me a huge fan!
Guessing because here in Canada we don’t have the population for the views. And honestly the US politicians and government don’t take accountability or responsibility for colonialism and its continued effects so there’s a huge lack of education as well. A lot of which was never documented like many other countries. Many believe the ancestral stories Indigenous have always passed on are myths but clearly science and documents together have proven many so called myths are facts now. Canada also doesn’t take proper responsibility or accountability for this in the past nor all the horrific problems it still causes today. Sadly we are not the great country many believe we are nor will we ever be. However, considering what was done and is still happening to Native Americans in the US, I think there’s a big lack of understanding the roots of that country and the colonialism effects still obvious today. It takes an understanding open mind and life of common sense, learning and growing for people to understand and enjoy other cultures, true origins and effects. I believe this all contributes to tunnel vision in anything including art and music but especially if there are truths and lessons learned within.
A tribe called red loves all full blooded Indians even the brown skin Native American Indian like myself🦅✊🏾 my grand parents are born from CANADA🖤💚❤️ THE COMPOUND WAS ON FIRE!!!
I love this concert because we actually get to see tribes from Ontario only and their music, dances. I love it. Having been born in Germany, I really appreciate your indigenous peoples music, dances, etc. because the indigenous people in Germany have lost most of their culture. The Romans, the Christians have destroyed most of our original cultures. We didn't have a culture of private property but communal living. Once, the Christians (the Catholics) came into Germany they destroyed our communal living because the Catholics introduced private property into Germany and therefore, destroyed our country and our tribes.
This is so amazing, I wish I was there. I am now a resident in USA from the Highlands of Scotland and always been fascinated in my people who joined tribes because they came from clans. The only people I thank for being a citizen here now are the keepers of this great land! I owe nothing to anyone else!
I would love to be at one of your concerts, so much love and respect I grew up in Idaho I'm currently down in Texas I make my kids watch pow wow on UA-cam and blast your music on the radio full blast I get looks but could careless keep drumming/the beats coming
Used In The Go Kanata GrizzlyBear-Unat Kanata Go Songs . It Comes Out As 1'Gorilla-Unit 2'Gorilla-Unot 3'Gorilla-Onit Instead Of Go Canada BaldEagle-Unad Canada Go
So, this just happened to appear in my timeline today 4/2/21 & I'm so glad it did! Have loved ATCQ ever since my college days. So immediately my interest was piqued when see "ATCR." THOROUGHLY enjoyed this set & didn't know they had songs with Saul Williams & Yasin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def)👏👏 Will now have to go search for more info on this awesome group! 👍👍
I swear I jammed harder in my shower then everyone in the crowd put together and that’s sad! You guys deserve so much more recognition than you have rn 😍😍
I seen them in 2017, was so lit! They’re a huge inspiration to me as a native / so many other races lol I consider myself native though because of where I grew up, I’m a dj and hope to be putting out songs that are me/ my culture soon! Love you guys 💖
Remember guys.....the power is in THE TRADITIONAL....rave music ok, use the platform......the hunger and strong pull is from the voices, drums, dance .. TRADITIOAL!!! that is what is speaking...the message can only be passed on in this way. Always. Like the crown jewels looked up in the Tower in England. People long to behold the crown...the englishare focus and embodyment of those ethereal things...everything is just some seasoning around the crown-you see??? Keep connected to your source in prayer and thanks...much ceremony and convey message through drum and dance Stay grounded, aware always of change in energy...there is strong desire to send you...First Nations People floods of good high energy.......cultivation is key
I haz rarely enjoyed a concert video so much, thank you! I am a very proud Canucklehead, and as a white dude I fully support my fellow humans, my brothers, my friends and family and try to respect all things endowed with life. Am I wrong?
I really do not understand all the judgement on the crowd in the comments. These people came out of their homes to enjoy incredibel performance. They seemed happy, let them be.

Bring this outdoor concert to Atlanta and watch how we would have that crowd ALIVE!!! That would be epic to unite our ancestors through music!!!

The dark spirits don't like us sharing the good spirits and you know which one is in charge of this inter web......
I can only assume its because folks don’t truly care to be educated or simply doesn’t care about us at all. The end will be decided by the land.
Thank you for sharing your Beautiful Music - and representing NATIVE AMERICAN Culture.
Native and mixed from the USA! Thank you CBC and A Tribe Called Red! This is Our Land!
