Yeah he was sometimes so naturally inappropriate, he made it fun to watch with a sprinkle of Car well-reasoned-upon memes LOL Their temperaments sanguinic/choleric + melancholic/phlegmatic perfectly complement each other like Yin and Yang. I could not congratulate SG more for the casting couch, these 2 smartass-ets are the reason I watched every second of WC.
As someone who has recently got into PvP for Epic Seven and started to look into E7WC after joining the game right after 2022's, I had a ton of fun watching this year's WC. It was extremely enjoyable watching the games themselves, but you three did amazing being interactive and the vibes between you three were awesome! If there is one small critique I could make though for the future is that there was a lot of interruptions between one another. I've done tri-casts before for tournaments and I know how difficult that is when it comes to who's speaking and when! Thanks for being a part of this and making it such an enjoyable experience for me. Definitely looking forward to the future of E7 competitive, and using what I learned/saw in RTA!
firstly, enjoyed yours, car6, and gclef casting throughout. amazing job and i had a great time watching. and 2ndly, the 1up for the winner in the winner final is for me personally very common thing for game bracket tournament in this format/shape. and i like this advantage more for the winner whos been consistently winning and performing. IMO watching gaming matches over the years.
Absolutely loved the casting from you and Car, made the experience much better. This year's World Cup was better in overall than previous year, excluding the meta tho.

Imo one of the biggest issue with the final day being live in person is that the players don't know if they are going to even be in the final day untill like... a week before? and to fly people out so they can play 1 match? That's really hard for anyone to justify or get time off work etc. If they want a live finals imo they should just get all of the top8 to fly out and run the bracket in that one day. I think it would make more sense logistically and also be very exciting.
That would be cool, I feel its super worth taking the trip though. I can speak from experience SG treats you well like its a nice vacation and they pay for everything haha

I would now agree - poopest either got tilted or really could not just find a way that didn’t allow his opponent Cilias first pick next fight without banning L E R M. This ban system is stupid and I hope it gets changed back next time around to choosing pre-bans every fight.

So let me get this straight. No-one could ban ML Cermia because the last rounds "respect the 5th pick ban" was the default ban of the next round? Yeah, that's gotta go and allow them another preban. I was like "how is no one banning ML Cermia by now?!?".
Essentially theyd have to throw a match JUST to ban her for the next match but can you really justify doing it? What if you want to pick it later as well
Honestly if they are not going to do a bracket reset the loser bracket seem pointless and gives the loser bracket an advantage by giving them more opportunities to change and test stuff about their units with world class players. It seems like round robin style for them would be better. Also something I would like to see is for it to become equipment locked during the duration of the tournament.
the problem with the ban system was that you are basically banning the silber bullets against your current drafted team instead of the pillars of the enemy team that enables them to draft like that
i feel like theres no possible way to prove wintrading even if they were. Really hard to do. A lot of suddle things you can do to lose. for the tournament that is, not the qualifier.
Im really frustrated seeing poopest fighting againts the same draft that kill him 4 times in a row He could ban lermia at the 3rd match or even the 4th match but he just want to keep bashing his head againts that wall...what a masochist i might say

I don't believe you need much evidence to prove win-trading here. This is E7 with a limited roster of viable meta units. It's incredibly easy to question why certain players would suddenly change their playstyle and unit choices when compared to their past matches. There is obvious paid games every tournament now and as each tournament get's a bigger audience it's just going to get worse.
