Idea: 20lb .999 silver kettlebell painted black to use for weight lifting, who’s gonna know it’s silver.
I want a full pure copper dumbbell set just to store a bunch of copper😂
False bottom in a cat litter box.
75lbs sounds better 💪 I do swing heavy tho
Rofl on the litter-box
imagine someone comes in and you’re elbow deep in your cats litter box
That was a great show , I love how Coin Guy not only knows the coins but he can pin the history to them , I don’t think there are many people that could do that , god bless him
There isn’t, it’s amazing what he remembers!
🎉
Everything goes digital it just makes ALL coins numismatic. Value will soar on everything regardless of what gold/silver melt is. STACK ON!!😊😊😊😊😊
I agree with coin guy about 99 percent of the time but I don't believe it will be all digital. Parts of Europe is mostly digital but you still need money from what I have heard.
God , I would love to visit that store!
Road trip to Florida!
subjective grading is when its in a 2X2
Awesome I can’t wait , Coin Guy rocks
Awesome interview! As an aside, *re: Coin Guy's gold $ ring*. Back in the 90's I had a retail job and wore a necklace like that, bought in LV after hitting a jackpot. Long story short, one day a customer kept staring at me in an odd way. I finally asked her what was wrong. Her answer floored me! She was a school teacher and said that was what drug dealers wore. Duh...it's been sitting in a drawer since then. LOL
Oh my 😆
I appreciate that Guy sees the value in the statehood proof silver quarters... those sets (other 1999) never held numismatic value, but have the same weight and purity as the pre-65 stuff. Over the past couple years I've been able to assemble multiple rolls of those proof silver statehood quarters, and much more affordably than unc. pre-65 silver even.
I literally live about 5 miles from Coin Guy's shop and really need to stop in and see him!! He's so knowledgeable and has a million great stories. I also have some interesting items for him to look at in my collection!!
What are you planning on bringing in? I’m intrigued 😊
🇺🇸🇵🇷🇵🇪😎 I came all the way from Va. To visit with Guy, had a great time, he's the best!!!
Coin Guy!!
I hope Guy doesn’t sell his store and retire any time soon. He passes along his good deals to the customer.
The 1797 Cartwheel penny seems a bargain at 12 dollars 🙆♂️🙆♂️🙆♂️. Enjoy your videos, thanks.
The best job on earth, the coin guy
It’s gotta be a good feeling to work with what you love!
My 1875 trade dollar w/chop marks is one my very favorite coins, think of where and what this coin has been through. I am a great fan of the coin guys discussions, thanks for these videos.❤🇺🇸
Dam right a looney toon world!
I could watch guy all day
Check out the Coin Guy playlist and get your fix 😊
We love coin guy and these videos. Great introduction to coins and history. Thanks Speg you are doing a great service to America. God Bless you both.
Our pleasure!
Coin guy videos are the best, watched every single one
Now the real question is… do you go back and watch them on repeat…
I don’t think that love token is an oil well it is a light house!!!
My favorite videos on u tube, thanks
What do you look forward for to in these videos?
@@mrsspegtacular6484 I enjoy seeing what new comes into the shop as well as listening to coin guys knowledge about everything.I noticed that coin guy seemed a little discouraged about the future, hope he keeps looking up.
Lol at the "you had shoes?" Such a retail interaction. You know you work with the public when you get that kind of response. Anything you say in public is subject to competition 😅. "Oh you had it hard? I had it harder." "Oh you had it good? I had it gooder." 😂 its almost like most people are contrarians by nature.
Seems that way doesn’t it?
I would go big for a Dansco Hong Kong type album
What makes you want that set?
I love Hong Kong, and I'd like to collect it. One of my old friends has a set he did a long time ago
Another fantastic conversation! The only thing I'd say is I wonder if what Coin Guy called an oil well on that love token was actually a Moonlight Tower. Those were really popular in the early days of electricity and it looks more like that to me than an oil well
Someone else said it looked like a lighthouse.
Always good stuff
Another Great video speg with guy at the shop chitchating 😊😊👍🥈🥈🥈🥉 very educational thanks man enjoy it..
I like emeralds and blood red rubies..
he has washington quarters all the way up to 2098 that man has some money coins not even releases lol . just kidding guy 😂
Is there a way to buy some of his coins with out being there online something ya know 🎉🎉 id for sure want some the proof rolls he was selling
Give him a call!
SpegTacular you need to study history. Wow you young folks, we old folks studied this when we didn't even have shoes....lol
Be nice if the Coinguy and you could do an Online auction

Where are you located, Guy? We live in Flowood, Ms. I wonder how far it is to drive to see you and your store?

IM REALLY SCARED FOR OUR FUTURE!
Dang! I'm new and just passed on a peace dollar that I thought was damaged. Next time I will know the chop mark for what it is
29:03
How do I go about buying that Transylvanian coin?
Great show guys
Which part was your favorite?
Thanks Speg you are doing a great service to America. God Bless you both. Happy Flag Day :) QC
The coin guy looks like Archie Bunker with a haircut
I wish coin collecting was bigger and my town had a coin shop dangit. Nice channel and video guy I am taking notes. Edit: "It isn't work if you love doing it".
'Throwing the baby out with the bath water' - by the time the whole family had bathed in the same water, with the baby last, the water could be pretty dark...lol..
Very Nice SpeG!! Thx Coin Guy! JJ
Thank you too!
Ask Coin Guy if he can score a 1983 Engelhard Prospector round that I need to add to my set?
Give him a call!
the rest of the world isn't jelous about a 16lb mickey mouse, more of a dislike at how americans think they are the greatest and have this "freedom". Also wtf was that ending ?
Sounds like you’re jealous of Americans by this comment to be honest.
As a 1982 baby I think I'm going to have to call guy tomorrow and pick up some of theose proof Washington. I have a couple but adding those to my stack instead of my collection would be awesome.
Cool video fella's. Small time collector for the grand kids here.
Coin Guy is awesome !!
hope they are 38 winchester super x jhp !
Thanks SpegTacular for the video, The coin Guy always has the good stuff.
Yes... just what the doctor ordered . Thanks spegtacular and guy. These are my favourite new stock new stories 😊.
Thanks for watching!
What’s been your favorite episode so far?
@@Spegtacular hey speg ... one of my favourites from last few years has goto be the hoard video from 2020 .you and guy were sorting the boxes of foreign and ancient coins . what a a video it was ...actually ive re watched it a few times 😁👍
@@mrsspegtacular6484 anytime i always enjoy. Im from England and like to see whats happening over the pond ! Thanks alot for taking the time to reply .
So critical in this video. Geese.
Love the interviews with the coin Guy!!👍
stunt double....LMAO !!
Always a nice virtual visit to an old time classic coin dealer. A knowledgeable coin dealer, not a bullion seller.
You should consider a non-virtual visit!
39:50 I can see you SpegTacular....LOL
😆
Where were you this morning during the premiere??
A 1921S VG Buffalo nickel for $75.00.. how I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when this Salesman made the Offer on this coin.
I know of another similar type Salesman who opened a local Brick-n-Motor 'Coin & Currency' store in an area with no competition. He stayed open two years, cleaned out the 'Hoards' in the surrounding area, and then left Town.. of course he did not have an endless supply of anxious 'Sellers' derived from the support this type of media coverage provides.
@spegtacular what % of grey sheet do you think coin shop owners buy large lots for over the counter? Maybe like 50%? I just have no idea.
It’s going to depend on the shop, what their need is, and what their buyers are generally like. It’s too hard to throw out a percentage because there’s so many variables.
The statue is 24-inches high, 15-inches wide and 9-inches deep weighs over 100 lbs. and is valued at $4 million 7 Aug 2006 from Google.
I have a 2015 CMOH $5 gold coin with the W mint mark that I bought for fun. Its a proof in the case. Anyone know if its worth getting graded or selling for the gold value 90% or as a coin for collecting? I got no idea and I need a new TV you see.
Fun video! Great content!!! ❤
Thanks for watching! What did you enjoy most in the video?
@@mrsspegtacular6484 I like the fact that it took place at a coin shop. I like the coin guy too!
@@miguelcordova9269 thanks for sharing 😊
Looks like he carries a Smith and Wesson model 10. I love that firearm. Classic police pistol from the 19th century. Love your videos brother, thanks for the content.
Its real cool to hear guy coin talk ! I would like to have a book with his value of coins
It must if been the ghost 👻 of Vlad the Impaler coming to get his coin from Transylvania back. Lmao
I’m a stacker not a collector. I take all the protective steps but lose lips sink ships. Now my giant Mormon family lol thinks I’m a pawn shop and gets pissed that I won’t buy their crap President coins ect
Love your coin stuff but it's hard to be jealous of a 16 lb mickey mouse when you live near the Tower of London Have you been There isn't anything in the USA that will come close Set politics aside and you are really great on coins and helping young uns get into it The old weapons room aint bad either haha
GOOD Job
Guy is So Knowledgeable
Great Job Keep Educating
🧏♂️👍
o baby lets goooooooooo
Party time!
Great video! TY
and to the republic and not the democrats... xD no wonder there is conflicts in America!!!
You could not get me to move to Florida! Property are too high. Hurricanes! Then insurance cost and other taxes they don’t tell u about make Florida cost of living is way to high! Do your research before moving somewhere!
Please don’t move to Florida. Please please please! Watch the news and listen when they say it’s a death trap :) please don’t come to Florida!
I heard Chicago's nice
Chicago, New York, anywhere in California.. heck, Georgia, please go there because they’re awesome places to live!
New Jersey…
two shillings aka the florin, my constitutional silver, never seen a note like that before though
Phillipines dollars were 80% and smaller diameter than US silver dollars iirc
I'll be coming to see Guy first week of July
What’s the plan ?
We want to come visit Coin Guy! I'm Jonathan, my wife is Michelle, and we're planning a trip to Spring Hill within the next month. Any information that may be helpful is surely appreciated! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Give Guy a call and make sure he’ll be there on your planned day(s)
Who ever had these sets had alot of money and time in putting these sets together...
I love my LCS, but man I wanna go to his shop! 😍
What draws you to his shop?
@@mrsspegtacular6484 it’s the coin guy, that’s why! 🤣 But honestly, it’s the variety of stuff he has.
Very nice purchase thanks for showing them
Did guy star as "Gold Finger" in the old bond movie?
I just looked up the Fun show online and found out that the Orange County Convention Center is now CASHLESS and you need to register to enter.. sounds very anti American if I don't say so myself, I understand the crimes that take place however those who sacrifice liberty for safety deserve neither in my opinion, my local show is still cash for lunch and refreshments and completely discreet in terms of what I purchase...Looks like a great show and looks like fun though
That’s the convention center and not the coin show.
My dad dose that with the phone drives me fuxkin nuts for real
I am British. I don't have an umbrella. And never use one 😅
Love the Coin Guy, but I would never buy a Toner. They are ugly.
Oh I love toners but you’ve got to love this hobby.. for as much as I love toners, there’s someone like you on the opposite end of our hobby that doesn’t love them. Nothing wrong with either!
@@Spegtacular Thanks for rep[lying. I hope you got my email asking to buy the Turkish coin from 1315
I never saw an email.
Spegtacular@yahoo.com
it is not a Transylvanian coin, it is a Venetian Sesino of the 16th century.
Coin Guy is my favourite Florida Man.
Saturday? Hmmmmmmmm
Yep! Will that work for you this time? 😉
@@Spegtacular haha you had a Friday video regardless so hurray haha but i was out rucking so i was late anyways 😅
There are a handful of men who amaze me .... this guy is one of them.
Thanks again spectacular coin guy😊
Hello from Russia, nice coins!
👋
Thanks for rep[lying. I hope you got my email asking to buy the Turkish coin from 1315
Let me check
He has so many coins I love watching!!
Well trusted honest coins dealer
Spegs , lQQK at those coins
Love when coin guy joins the show! Thanks!
Thanks so much again for the tip! Always love you coming by to check out the videos.
@@Spegtacular right on brother! For myself being relatively new to the numismatic community, I’m finding that what you contribute to the community and society is definitely unique and I really appreciate it! Wishing all the best to you and your loved ones!
I really appreciate that.
Can you ship to the UK at all for big lots
Does guy still have those trade dollars? They are gorgeous! I'll have to call and inquire.
What did he say when you called?
@@Spegtacular I am at work til 7pm. I was planning on calling later and leaving a message or trying Guy on Sun or Mon. I'll lyk
I was watching the video up to and on my way to work this morning 🌄
I literally start having freaking eye twitches and like I'm having a freaking aneurysm when I hear them talk about $20 these gold coins $400 an ounce!! ESPECIALLY when I just went and spent $30 Oz on some freaking silver yesterday!! Don't tell me inflation because I know my dad worked a lot back then and he didn't want to $20 or $100 $50 bills laying around well still works his ass off and yeah definitely not as many twenties fifties and hundreds anymore! So the money might be worth less but I'm telling you it seems like it's a lot harder to get on top of that! Swear I was born like 20 years too freaking late! I mean don't get me wrong I like all of the electronics and everything but at the same time I think it might have been nicer to not have him for longer in my life and man just the money that was able to be made back then with relative ease! I know that even just in the 2000's when I was only in my teens I was able to make almost as much money as I do now except I was in my freaking mid-to-late teens! I sure as hell was not working like I am now at least I wasn't working as hard! Maybe hard isn't the word for it but it sure wasn't as strenuous! What are the messed up part about it is that I knew about gold and silver and I just didn't understand!! I was talking to my uncle the other day and he had like the number one antique shop in all of South Jersey for a bunch of years running and I'm talking to him about silver and he knows about it cuz he watches prep videos and stuff like that but when I showed him what I was all happy about and everything he's like those? I can't believe everybody's freaking out about those! You know how many of those freaking silver dollars we had laying around! They were everywhere! Had them in piles and buckets just laying everywhere! Holy crap how much are they now?😮💨😳🤦🏼♂️🙇🏼♂️ my only response was yeah that's the way I feel too! Just thinking about if my dad who's in his mid-70s would have put a dime a week away when he was a kid and then even just like 3 or $5 a week when he was in his twenties up until I don't know even what a decade or two ago!! But if my uncle would have instead of spent those silver dollars just stuck them into those water jugs and had left two or three of them up in the attic and forgotten about them!! It's mind-boggling! Imagine if my grandfather instead of leaving all of his money in the bank says dollars would have instead make sure those dollars were transferred into dollar coins in a box! The same amount of money except just in a coin form and we wouldn't be worried about losing our families property in New York state now that's been there since my great-grandfather built it with his bare hands! They wouldn't even have had to have saved anymore money! All I had to do was trade those dollar bills made it so that it was all in the form of coins exclamation point exclamation point but they would have been like oh what about all the interest I'm missing from having it in my bank account! Holy crap if I could just go back and be like yeah know that interest that you're getting from the bank yeah throw that out the freaking window please and just go get gold and silver coins and stick them into thank boxes and he'll go bury some of them up in the mountain or in the walls! Just put a lawyer in charge of with your money form of gold and silver rather than USD but it wasn't even that hard because it was USD it was just coins for freak sake! OK I gotta stop... this stuff drives me nuts! People talk about well you're going to be wishing for the days when it was $30 an ounce for silver and 2,000 and ounce for gold and yeah I guess but thinking about it as in how much money my grandfather even made at his job at Philadelphia Gas Works and comparing it to the wages we make today! Man he made a ton of money and he made even more money as he was retired then he did when he worked! Between his retirement and all of the medical bills that were paid for!! No doubt about it he made Pride double or triple the amount of money in his retirement then he made while he was working if you know what I mean. I don't know there's no way anybody can tell me that it wasn't easier to make money and things weren't better back then and yeah I know about the recession but I don't know if it was quite as bad as what's happening today because I don't know if the US just going to bounce back today! It was still a young Nation back then and people were having kids and starting businesses and now it seems like the opposite they don't want kids they don't want to work they don't want businesses and instead of incentivizing it the government is demonizing it doing everything to make it so people can't get ahead! J incentivizes people sitting around doing nothing! They incentivize the male role models to be kicked out of the household and pay the single mothers more money to sit around and do nothing making sure the kids don't see anybody making a living and have no positive role models and I've got someone to help me instead it's more of hey is there another stimulus coming? I'm running out from the last ones while at the same time saying the United States is evil and horrible and racist and we need to get rid of it! Can I have a couple more dollars! The Constitution what a horrible useless piece of parchment! Hey you're suppressing me and you need to give me some more money! So yeah the difference between that and this I don't know man they had some sort of work ethic and just morals and ethics and general back then seems to be very scarce today
Yeah, it's a bummer. We can only do our part.
Keep working, there are plenty among the youth who are not afraid to work, they are scarce, but out there.
The coin guy is awesome
GOD BLESS AMERICA
Wow
I like how the Vlad the Impaler reference was mentioned Vlad being the basis for Count Dracula
