Really great set up for the student: learn the throws, then learn to transition between failure points, then master the “feel” between to know quickly that it fails. (Or some order of these). We train so that we introduce this VERY EARLY in the student’s progression. We don’t wait until mastery of a technique is achieved before the “renraku” phase.
