Suspended without pay means that he will get terminated when all the due process is done
The text messages he send to his Whatapps Highschool buddies group as well as his group chat with his superiors and colleagues shows: This wasn't the first time. He felt comfortable enough to put this in writing and he didn't get reprimanded by his superiors or colleagues, they didn't express any discomfort with what he told there.
Thus this is a - at least for this specific office - a modus operandi, "just another tuesday", i.e. a systemic problem.
They need to find out who is chief in his phone contacts

He completely botched a murd3r investigation because he’s a dirty cop. Imagine how many other investigations he’s handled this way. Imagine how many innocent people are in jail or how many guilty people are running free.

If he had actually done his job and investigated the house and the people inside it, then if Karen actually did do it, it would’ve gotten rid of reasonable doubt. Instead he zeroed in on Karen because he already knew who he was going to charge for this crime.

I think the punishment is weak.
Proctor needs to be punished for Railroading Karen read, ignoring suspects in the house , Manufacturing Evidence via breaking Karens tail lights, then supposedly "finding " pieces days after.. while canton police could not find any. Interviewing his friends ( suspects from the house) in group setting inside their homes.. no video evidence,. Proctor lying about when he took possession of her car and putting wrong time an hour difference from the facts, etc etc. He should be criminally charged for covering up a murder by his friends.

In all fairness every msp trooper I’ve ,had an interaction with or just talk to have always been the most professional people I’ve seen , you can’t trash all of the troopers who are,out there doing the right thing , I’ll be honest one even help me change a flat tire put his cruiser next to my car so I wouldn’t get hit the highway troops are the best
