- SVS PB-16 Ultra Excursion. This is not max excursion, as I don't want to damage it, but pushing it fairly hard. The wobbly sub look is just what happens when you record a speaker. It doesn't actually do that in real life. If anyone has tips as far are Frame-rate, and shutter speed to record it better, please let me know.
CAN WE JUST TAKE TIME AND THINK OF HOW THIS MIC IS AMAZING
Recorded with zoom h1. I’ve since upgraded to a zoom h5.
Captured it beautiful
The bass is so deep that I can feel even wearing headphones ...
The microphone is really good. Sounds amazing.
Finally a great song with a great demo and a fantastic sub! Thank you
This mans mic is INSANE absolute unit and don’t even get me started with the subwoofer 😂 amazing video man. loved it.
Woah! If you stare at the center long enough the sub will flip from facing left to right if you try to see it. Like a mirror image. Nice vid!
Music to your eyes watching this.
The best vidéo UA-cam sb 16 ultra 👍
Bonjour l amis, j ai craqué je les acheté je le reçois mardi j ai réussi a l avoir à 2200 euros en France. Merci beaucoup pour cette vidéo qui m'a donné l envie de l acquérir.

The pb1000 pro flexes that much. Turn it up man
Thanks for your video information two thumbs up... 😎😎😎😎😎
You cant blow an indestructible Unit* That was neat to watch.
Nice woofer video with a good bass tune! 👍
Thing sounds nice man !
One of the best...
Geez the mic is insane! I seen in other comment that you use Zoom H1 for this vid. I expected it to be expensive but it was like 1/5th the price i expected. Amazing excursion video/superb sound quality.
And they actually have a replacement. The zoom h1n. It’s even better
@@justonbrazda3846 oh there is a new model of h1? Thats good to know :D i still cant get how good the SQ is on the mic.
wow that's awesome 😍
Wow..Subwoofer or A Belly Dancer..👌
Listened with rsl speedwoofer 10s
There's my favourite song on a bass test 👍👍-Slight
Wooow, good bass🔊🔊💪💥
Amaziiiiiiiinnnnnnnggggggggggggg
🔥💯
красиво прыгает,прям под музыку)
dude are you aware that this sub is MADE for serious pounding ? the SVS people encourages their customers to CRANK IT!!!
I wish someone would crank it & post the video
nice video and sound ... booom
I suggest you film it in in 120 frames + with a strobe light and then convert it to 24/30frames. It will show off in the best way possible :)
I can shoot in 120. But I don’t have a strobe light. Might look at getting one.
@@justonbrazda3846 dude just record it in 60FPS thats all
What does that do?
The wobbling of the Speaker comes from the way the Camera records and scans the image it "sees". It doesn't scan the whole image at once it scans the image from the top to the bottom in bars from left to right. So when the scanning has reached the bottom of the speaker it moved a bit from where it was when the upper side was scanned. Thats why it seems wobbly, and unfortunatly you cant do anything about it.
Menko09 Increasing fps, just record on 120 and play it back as 60 and it doesnt have the wavy effect.
N
It’s not wobbling. It’s because the camera can’t capture the entire sensor fast enough. It’s called rolling shutter. Look it up.
It may also be the lighting, you may get a more lifelike video if you dim the lights. I filmed my speakers in sunlight and it looked like that. 30 fps has worked for me.
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for following up with my request! Man I'm jealous, that wasn't peak? I'd love to see and hear what the peak power is. What was your in room listening experience like?
Dlanz Harris I would imagine his walls were crumbling around him xD
from what I have heard this thing is pushing some serious power and will flex windows about a quarter inch not even at it's highest volume
with this kind of bass, what distance can it reach up to?
I am running 4 of those ,, work well.
what the song name?
sounds great now check the Edge of Tomorrow intro scene then you will return the pb-16ultra because of the annoying sound from the port many people have experienced this
Can we please get some more demos since you’ve upgraded your mic 🎙
What would you like to see? There haven’t been any good movies since COVID.
@@justonbrazda3846 Well I would like to see another good song or so with your newer mic. I’m thinking about getting one this winter
name song best song in my life
Which song
That far away from its max excursion . It can go twice as much excursion easyly
I own this sub did you notice a smell if you turn it uo to much or is mine still breaking in
But damn dude, for a PB16 that shit is barely no excursion at all. No need to be scared of blowing anything! (I genuinly think you could easily double the amount of excursion without any chances of making any damage...)
x7ro the more excursion the more distortion. It already had a high output this way and not much distortion.
why more excursion? More unneeded noise, not much more db output and higher excursion adds distortion...!
In his room, that would be very very loud
Que rico
How buy this?
What was your volume level?
How do you record it to get the sub movement looking so smooth.
It's all about the shutter speed. What you see is called the "Rolling Shutter Effect".
Music ?
Which is the mic do you use let everyone know by your precious (comment)
Not 100% sure, but I believe it was a zoom H1. Might have been the Zoom H5.
Nice vid. So does it really shake the room? The floor?
Well, the floor is concrete. The house I live in is pretty new, and well built. I wouldn't say it shakes the room. It shakes the couch though, and rattles some can lights. Rattles doors. It definitely rattles things in the other rooms in my house though.
How much is it
How the fuck did anyone downvote this?
Song name please ?
How mach
Yes, as Menko09 pointed out the 'wobbly speaker' effect is what is known as Rolling shutter and there are plenty of videos here on UA-cam about it. While increasing frame rate will help with it, an easier solution might be to use a strobe light.
I have a tip for recording speakers. Because most cameras use CMOS sensors, they scan each line from top to bottom, so if you place your camera at 90 degrees the pb16 will move in the frame up and down instead of left and right, so you will remove the womble effect. Only problem is you get portrait phone type of video, so be creative ^_^.
Quetzalcoalt I’ve been recording my recent ones at 60 FPS and uploading to UA-cam at 60fps. That seems to give pretty good results. Check the most recent video I uploaded and see if you think it’s better.
@@justonbrazda3846 It's better but i can still see some womble. For shutter speed i like the 180 degree rule. shutter speed is 2x the fps. Works for me ^_^. You can even increase it to 4x the fps for more "choppiness" kind of makes it more dramatic or something :D. Experiment ^_^ Love the setup! You don't have to answer my other comment about what AVR you are using, i found it on another video !
Quetzalcoalt yes. I shot at 60fps, with my shutter at 1/125th.
I am running 12 of these , Crazy as fuck all drywall is cooked in the recroom. but worth it.
Song name?
I recorded an excursion vid of my PB12 Plus at 120FPS on a Galaxy S8+ and it got rid of the wavy effect and looks normal.
Heisenberg What did you expect?
what mic?
Zoom H1
Juston Brazda Thanks
svs is best just say wow
song name??
Slight - Release
It can do a lot more
Where is the "ultra excursion" push it to it's limits. Knock things off the walls. All jokes aside pretty cool man
is that music? i clearly hear only distorted farts.
is that music? ... i just clearly hear only distorted farts.
That’s just your shitty speakers distorting that you hear.
rlsuarezv that’s just your shitty speakers that you hear distorting.
That wobble is terrible. What a garbage driver they are overcharging you for.
Apparently you’ve never recorded a sub with a video camera. Or just don’t understand how video cameras work.
@@justonbrazda3846 actually I did with my JL D110. I had it moving more than yours with no wobble.
@@justonbrazda3846 www.reddit.com/r/audiophile/comments/dh2urg/some_jl_dominion_d110_excursion/?
Richard McCoy ha. That sub was barely moving. Anyways. Shut the lights off in the room, put a light on the sub, and record it with a full frame mirrorless camera. You’ll get the Same “wobble” as I got. Or, if I record mine with a cell phone , I won’t get any “wobble”.
