PGHSTARK13 interesting. I guess he just really liked the power delivery. But do you plan on getting a tune? SFR or BTR or something else? I bet you'd wake the car up big time
PGHSTARK13 Curious as to why you decided to swap out the tail lights. IMO, the '13+ tail lights are some of the best looking tail lights out there right now.
Definitely enjoy your reviews. What I note is that you remain consistent with the videos. You changed your intro, which was good, because it showed much of your consistency throughout many of your shots. For example, little things like, always standing on the left side of the car when you introduce it, starting the review before the bass drop in the song, the setup of the review, all very consistent. Keep it up. Hope to see more reviews.
I just bought a 2015 genesis 3.8 GT manual and the shifting is so much better then the 2014 turbo i test drove. I absolutely love this car and dont regret it for a second. It's a nice car. I got the 3.8 track Manuel with everything in it. U have to get this version to make it a premium genesis coupe. But it's more costly. I like the look and feel. I was gonna get mustang. Maybe get mustang Shelby later on.
Good Review. I have a 2014 2.0T Premium Genesis Coupe. Love the built in GPS, Great sound system and power seats and sun roof. First thing I did was have the wide center grill piece painted body color. It really improves the appearance. Car is awesome. Runs in excess of 135 MPH, handles like a go-kart, It gets 20MPG city and if I keep my foot out of it, will give 28MPG highway. Look at them and you'll agree, hard to beat for the money.
Subaruwrxfan I think you should test drive a diesel truck. Duramax, power stroke or a Cummins. I think you would be very surprised by the performance given.
1st Dream Vehicle I want when I grow up is a 2004 Ford Mustang v6 2nd Dream Vehicle is this BEAST! (Edit) Plus, this is the first ever Hyundai I’ve ever seen! One of my parents friends has a pimped version! With a Air Height Control for the Suspension, upgraded engine, etc! Sadly, he will sell it... Damn! I really wanted a vehicle like this!
First gen wasn't a bad looking car, but this second gen IMHO is very ugly. The back looks much cleaner but the front has to go. I'd still buy the first gen just for the looks alone. At the end of the day, as long as the owner enjoys the car, none of these comments matter. I would prefer a proper 6 speed manual (I would in any car actually), but I suppose its not for everyone (insert "sucks in traffic" and "wife/GF can't drive stick" arguments here). Great review nonetheless and I do love the color, along with the interior being better than the first gen GC !!
647killa how is it absurd? I like saving money anywhere I can and I find getting high MPG fun and challenging. Going fast takes 0 skill, just floor it and wait to get to speed, brake hard and turn at 20 MPH like everybody else. I'm not saying sporty driving is bad, I just think that it is boring on the streets. Like I said, everybody else who has driven my car has ruined my tank by 2 MPG (tracked), so I'd prefer it if no one drives my car but me. But I have an automatic, so I just have to deal with it :(
andrew cook Well I see your point, but we are talking about a sportscar in this video, which would lead to sporty driving. I'm sure daily MPGs matter when you are just shuffling about from work to home etc in a regular car. A manual transmission would come in handy, cuz then no one else will drive your car, unless they learn, but then it would be everyone enjoying the car too much....hmm !! Well, hey if MPGs matter more to you, then thats a totally different look on cars. I, for one, don't waste my money but I also drive my cars the way they are meant to be driven on road and track. I don't think MPGs when i buy a car like the above, unless we are talking about Navigators and Escalades.
647killa I think MPGs should always be a consideration when making a purchase of a DD. If I want a sports car, I'd spend the money I saved from driving economically and buy an S2000 or Miata and have a blast with that, but for something that I'd drive daily (like a Hyundai) then MPGs are my main focus
reason for the twitchiness and wheel spin are the all season tires and the open diff (he said it's a base model). It's about usually $800 to swap out the diff with a factory LSD (diff carrier is the same between the gen coupe, sedan, and equis. So you just have to swap the whole diff, no fiddling with ring gears and back lash) The first gen had a zf 8 speed in the 3.8 and that is lazier to shift than the second gen. The second gen has hyundai's own 8 speed which is pretty much a clone of the zf. It's TCU programming.
I test drove a 2014 3.8 and thought the steering and handling was quite boring. Its amazing how there can be such difference in opinions. I'm sure the modifications to the exhaust system added quite a bit of power to it. Its hilarious watching your excitement during the review nonetheless.
Great review!! I believe these cars respond well to boltons and tune, so reacting like it's stock power is quite inaccurate. If he tuned it (like he should have with those mods) this thing is probably 270whp conservatively.
I own a 2013 Hyundai Genesis 2.0t 6 speed, I got an exhaust, intake, upgrade ecu tune and bpv Thing moves, I love it! It’s my favourite car ive owned, as it’s just a summer toy for me. With that being said I’ve owned a 2011 Subaru wrx sti, and I get more looks in the genesis then I did the sti. If you’re looking for a cheap reliable fun boosted car Genesis is the way to go !
smgs921 Really? Do you have proof that he's losing viewers because of the intro? I seriously doubt any viewer who's interested in the subject of his video would decide to not watch because of an intro. Most people who are not a fan of intros on any video simply skip past the intro and watch the video.

OK that's it I'm getting it 2013 2.0t I need it I'm saving I'll make payments I don't care. Just seeing your reaction convinced me
Love it man... nice to see somebody actually getting on the pedal a little in a review and having a good time! Enjoyed the review.
I should invest in one of these
They really kept the Tiburon V6's look inside, brings a tear to my eye
"I don't get it but it's fun." lmao Great review!
i just bought mine yesterday (2013 2.0 t) and i am so happy with it
Subaruwrxfan I think you should test drive a diesel truck. Duramax, power stroke or a Cummins. I think you would be very surprised by the performance given.
I just love the sound of the 4-cylinder engine. Especially the one in the MX-5 Miata that you reviewed, Matt
I'd seriously consider for MT instead of AT
1st Dream Vehicle I want when I grow up is a 2004 Ford Mustang v6
2nd Dream Vehicle is this BEAST!
I'd prefer if my wife/gf couldn't drive my car. They will always find a way to ruin MPG.
andrew cook really? thats the first time i've heard such an absurd reasoning, unless of course you are joking. MPG?
So you just have to swap the whole diff, no fiddling with ring gears and back lash)
The first gen had a zf 8 speed in the 3.8 and that is lazier to shift than the second gen.
The second gen has hyundai's own 8 speed which is pretty much a clone of the zf. It's TCU programming.
his face tho
I test drove a 2014 3.8 and thought the steering and handling was quite boring. Its amazing how there can be such difference in opinions. I'm sure the modifications to the exhaust system added quite a bit of power to it. Its hilarious watching your excitement during the review nonetheless.
8:40-8:50, this is really a happy car review, hahah, cool,i like it
Great review!! I believe these cars respond well to boltons and tune, so reacting like it's stock power is quite inaccurate. If he tuned it (like he should have with those mods) this thing is probably 270whp conservatively.
Would u recommend a 2.0T or the 3.8? Both full bolt ons tuned.
6.2 liter supercharged
+Martin Trujillo 3.8.
3.8 and a turbo kit but honestly if you would ask me I would choose 3.8 and a combined charged sistem (turbocharger and supercharger)
Jorge Bruno how can I make my car make that sexy ass boosted noise ?
Kermit The frog blow off valve. I have a 2010 2.0t and I have one and it sounds so nice with quad catback exhaust
Love my 2013 Genesis 2.0t. It really is a car that you need to drive to understand
Do a Infiniti G37S coupe Review ! :D
Yes.
I would love to see the review on the G37 and the 3.8 version Gen
Please do a review of a G37S! I'm planning on getting one in the coming months and I'd love to see your impressions of it!
The g37 is now the q60
Why not a 2013+ 3.8 genesis track? It runs about 32k brand new and has just about everything youd want in a GT sports coupe.
i like this guy, feels like i'm the one who drove that genesis because of his reactions.
I'd still much rather have the FRS, much better styling and interior.
The Release series 1.0 is sexy af.
YOU CRAZY IF YOU THINK a frs looks better even a BRS look better with the front bumper ...
The series 1.0 is also over 30 grand though, and (on paper) doesn't perform as well as the Genesis.
Jarod Luecke True
I own a 2013 Hyundai Genesis 2.0t 6 speed, I got an exhaust, intake, upgrade ecu tune and bpv
Thing moves, I love it! It’s my favourite car ive owned, as it’s just a summer toy for me. With that being said I’ve owned a 2011 Subaru wrx sti, and I get more looks in the genesis then I did the sti. If you’re looking for a cheap reliable fun boosted car Genesis is the way to go !
everytime im in the AMG these cars come up trying to race! they do sound nice though. with mods that is.
+diallow they do the same to me lil bastards
I swear Genesis drivers are always trying to race
+CarEnthusiast Vids pretty much 😂 Lol
CarEnthusiast Vids They want you to cook rice after youve already had lunch
@@mckookie2967 No....the car is just so fun and thrilling to drive.
"Pretty warm day" theres snow everywhere lol love your reviews man.
please get different music for your intro, i cringe everytime i hear it and have to turn it way down
Yeah, I'm sure he will read your comment and then decide to change his intro music just for you. lol GTFO!
He's losing viewers BC of it. I have to turn my speakers almost off BC its so terrible
smgs921 Really? Do you have proof that he's losing viewers because of the intro? I seriously doubt any viewer who's interested in the subject of his video would decide to not watch because of an intro. Most people who are not a fan of intros on any video simply skip past the intro and watch the video.
Tat2Dragons yeah he lost me as a viewer and other people are +1ing me
smgs921 Seriously... you stopped viewing his videos because of his intro? Now that's sad. Oh and apparently only one person +1ed your comment. lol
I do appreciate when you do everyday cars like this Good choice in cars including the mustang 2007 keep it up
