invader here, Saint is right lock-on is your enemy because I have rolled off an edge because I was locked on and numerous times getting stuck on something and not being able to get out.
You can even abuse it and make people auto-track off the edge. My favorite to do it with is the Meteoric Colossal AoW. Killed so many spammers just by slightly moving. 🤣
Not getting any damage on a riposte is annoying but I once got knocked out of the animation as if I didn't have i-frames. I still don't know how that happened.
Have you gotten to try that Great Arcs incant? It's great for putting pressure it's also super fun seeing people panic when you spam it for a couple times
I dare you to try a poison build with the Poison Moth ash of war on throwing daggers, and a martial art in offhand with the stinky rot foot spike. My favorite build for level 60ish. Make sure to be light rolling so you cant get caught while you pester people with throwing knives, and when they chase you down... one shot them.
@@kimlee6643 The best part is that you deal absolutely no damage, but then you hit them with the poison moth ash and chunk 3/4ths of their healthbar, typically its an instakill if you've been chipping at them with poison. It requires a ton of thinking and skill, compared to most other OP light roll builds.
I've been considering trying to invade for a second now, but the thing that puts me off the most really is farming for all the consumables n stuff to get it done. Do you guys farm this stuff, or just dupe it all?
depends on how much time you have to play. Saint invades profesionaly, he literaly get paid to do It and he likes to do It "honestly". When he uses a starlight shard for example the chat knows shit got serious. if you just want to have some fun invading its ok to dupe and stuff as long as you dont abuse against regular coopers imho. dedicated gankers are sometimes dupping too and i dont mind using more stuff against them.
Also to note if you want duped items it's different depending on what platform you are on. If you're on ps5 you either farm everything (crazy) or contact someone that has a character with everything so they can drop you tons of items, idk how but you can prolly find people like that on ER discord servers. If you're on pc it's easier to use cheatengine or Senko's PvP helper (the latter is better imo) to give yourself items, and it's safe to do with some care. Maybe this helped 👋

Looking at the casual complaints over "bad camera" on bosses, lock on is a lot of people's enemy.
