Check with FRRO, i just watched, i'm in dallas, and luckily we came to know couple of days before travel. we need to pay them for the days we stayed extra.

I left avir to daycare. Though I work I don't have to go office everyday. Before pandemic as well had work from home option. Weekly twice I go office and leave avir to daycare during that time. From 4 years avir joined school. So no issues after that

Set up your priorities ma..if u decided to pursue your career have to leave kids to daycare..my priority is my kids..I chose job based on wfh option and flexibility..I will leave office at 3.30 to pick up avir from school. I didn't leave to after school daycare as I felt he shouldn't miss me for long time..he is 7 years now. I am yet to join my office after my second one born. I will not leave her to daycare until 2.5 years old..i am sure about it.

Pls tell my kid Canadian born citizen, he doesn't have any card , we are indian citizen.we too made soo many terrible mistake, don't worry .
If a child was born to either canadian father or mother and outside of Canada. The child will become canadian citizen automatically. So, you need to apply for Proof of citizenship certificate to ur child. Whereas, below 5 year child can own Temporary canadian passport without citizenship certificate. Like u told, ur child was born in india and has Temporary passport. So, to exit India through canadian passport, u need indian visa, OCI card or Exit permit. Unfortunately u don't have that. So, first of all, u need to apply for exit permit which is very easy and straightforward, flight ticket is must. do contact FRRO site and office in Nungambakkam.
So, My advice is get the exit permit and go to Canada, then apply for Proof of citizenship certificate then apply for normal passport then oci card..

Thank you.. Have applied for citizenship certificate long back.. It's still in process. That's y got temporary passport with citizenship certificate reciept..I didn't think about exit permit during travel..my bad.. Applied for exit permit on same day.. Took one week to process..

We went through lots of struggle just bcs we had no option to bring our parents during the pandemic. If we would have known this, definitely we would have opted that☹️
My husband is a Canadian citizen.so v applied for citizenship..process is pretty straight forward. Need to apply for citizenship certificate and will get passport..as process is slow v got temporary passport
