Just a PSA: Titan has machines and workholding techniques that can support running this hard. If you're planning on trying stuff like this, take into account your machine. Titan and his programmers can run like this because they consult with their machine's manufacturer, tool holder's manufacturers, and tool manufacturers. If you're not willing to go that far than don't try this, you'll most likely mess up your machine. P.s material is also very important.

A long Time ago we had a power failure in our area. The first Day we were allowed to use juice from the emergency power core we started up our machine shop and we were doing heavy cutting. 3 Minutes later we got a call to shut down at least 80% of the shop machines because we overloaded the system.....
These end mills might stand the test when they are brand new, but they wont hold on for long like this. The real work is to find the best performance with a decent lifetime of the tool!
I need to show this video to the programmers at my shop, who are intent on using centric toolpathing/adaptive feed, and take a 1" ingersol apx cutter (apk?) with a base speed of .020ipt at 2200rpm, with a .04 depth of cut and full tool engagement oh H14 and wonder why the inserts break after 20 minutes causing us to have to adjust the ipt to around .009 like it should be or splice the program on most cuts. Yeah, apparently none of them know gcode either.
Morgana is it the Hi Feed mini 1TG1F? That’s my favorite tool in our magazine. I put one in all our mills loaded with the 2530 inserts. (But you may be better suited to run the 2505) .040 DOC and full engagement is where that tool is supposed to be ran. And around 2k is about the speed as well if it is the 4 pocket. But in a harder material, I would back off, maybe 500 SFM and .015 fpt to start...and make sure the air blow is good. You may want to check your pockets out with a magnifying glass on the cutter body. They have a lot of geometry in them to lock those inserts just right. If that geometry is compromised from all the busted inserts, then your fight is pointless. Good luck!
@@satrioekowicaksono7452 its simple they say the're programmers. But in reallity all they do is zero tools hit cycle start and cycle stop all day. This guy may be a programmer though he seems to know his shit
I work at a die shop and some of the speeds and feed we use are crazy. I’ve seen a 4” face mill going 150 IPM at .2 depth of cut almost full width of the cutter in P20. The inserts last 1 part. Or a 3/4” 1 foot long drill going 15 IPM. That thing shrieks like a MF. We use inserted drills and the inserts only last 1 part. But it’s also doing 15 holes
Awesome. It’s scary seeing it going so fast. I have a basic question - when you’re done cutting your part, how do you separate it from the material still in the work holding if that remaining material is not to be used? Flip the part with new holding setup and continue machining the other side?
At the end they normaly programate to cut the under side and leave just a very thin layer of material strong enough to hold the part till u cut it with a knife or rip it off
legend says if you look into the window of a machining center and say depth of cut three times fast Titan will show up and halve your machine time
Beanpapac15 Tried it. Was asked to leave. They don’t even know how I got past security.

That first full slot cut, holy shit. Watching the holder flex and bounce back and forth made my ass pucker
I think that's a chip clearance cut and done on purpose.
