#80 MOVED SUCCULENTS INDOORS TO PROTECT THEM FROM A STORM
Вставка

- In this video, I just share some of my succulents that I moved indoors in preparation for a storm passing by for the day. I also shared some of my other succulents outdoors that were fully established and strong enough to handle strong winds and a whole lot of rain. I also share succulent names so you can take note if you want to ID your succulents as well, in case you have them in your succulent collection. #succulent #storm #succulentnames

토분에 아이들이 이쁘네요. 숨을 잘 쉬는 화분에 이쁩니다.🤗💞💖🏞🏝🌳
Thank you 😊
They look happy inside. 😊👍
They do! They looked a lot bigger to me too when placed in a smaller space. 😅 The rosettes did open a bit though while they hung out indoors for 2 days. But they are all well went back outdoors.
I miss hearing Channel’s voice 🤣btw your plants are looking healthy,Happy planting.
Aww... she was super tired from a sleepover the day I filmed. 😴 😅
Good care to save succulents
But even indoor they look very colorful
Thank you. They were only indoors for 2 days then they went back outside after the storm. 😊
I adore the Fred Ives when they get 14" tall with a sturdy tall stem and the beautiful rosette on top. The babies look pretty growing around them. It is a super fun contrasting height in a pot or in the ground (to me) and they do not seem to mind tons of rain if in 90% pumice/soil. We get around 52" of rain a year and they've thrived that long here. My friend has had them in the ground with her sprinkler hitting it (with the rain never protecting it) two times a week and then the rain. It never gets sick for her. They've thrived for me about a year. I love when they get a little purple!
Absolutely agree! Little or no water, my Fred Ives thrive! Definitely a perfect succulent for beginners and propagates really well too! Thanks so much for stopping by and watching 😊💚
Your sacculants inspire me to collect sacculants, onside or outside looking good
Thank you 😊 You should try getting a few, you'll surely enjoy them.
Weather is getting really weird now a days!! To be honest,Looks like they're happy to be indoors by the window😊 You can tell by their colors☺ Stay Safe❤💛🧡💚
Oh the rosettes spread out a bit for the 2 days they stayed indoors. Thankfully they are back outdoors now and closing back up. 😊
Awww...all of them are cute and beautiful❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊💓
I hate storms , I’m sure they will be warm and happy inside 😘😘
Thankfully no succulents were harmed, and those that stayed outside got the all the rainwater they needed. 😊
Watching here Christine!

Thank you 😊
I guess the weather is crazy these days. Here, too, it is suddenly hot, then it pours a lot of rain and it is hot again. Your succulents have also been burned a lot. I'm worried about your succulents because the typhoon is also passing, but I hope that the succulents can spend the summer well.♥♥🙏🙏
The succulents are ok and the storm passed. Now it's back to being really hot. 🥵
Nice plants I enjoyed the videos 👍
Happy to see u friend and want to see ur videos more & more
Thank you! 😊

Beautiful sharing. Stay connected
Thank you 😊
Ang gaganda super cute nila
Thank you 😊
Super leggy burrow's tail. Still surviving intense heat.
It's surviving... I'll cut it all up again when the weather is a bit more favorable for rooting succulent cuttings. 😊
I had to bring in my plants a couple times during hurricane season. It’s the only time regretting having so many plants.
Oh, me too! I was so tired after bringing them in, then so tired again after bringing them back out. 😅😅😅
Hello Christine !
I’m gonna ask again, where are you located ?
This group of babies are gorgeous, hoping those got sunburned will recover
Hope no casualties on the passing of the storm ⛈
Stay safe dear, hello to Channel. Thank you for sharing 💕 Jonah
Hi Jonah! Do you have an IG account where we can DM?
I thought I was the only one who had to haul the delicate babies in 😂 we had to bring down the canopy, but luckily, wind wasn't as strong as expected.
Haha! Never under estimate a storm even if they say it won't be that bad! Our babies are not staying outdoors haha! I was so tired after moving them in, then back out again 2 days later lol! 😅😅😅
@@TheseSucculentBuddies I agree! I've seen "heavy" things fly with our typhoons and I can't imagine that landing on our babies. Losing a leaf by accident makes me cringe, what more smashing the whole plant. Glad your babies are safe. ❤
Glad your babies are safe as well! 💚
Sudden change from extreme heat to rain or vice versa is a deadly combo for our succulents. Most of my casualties were victims of this combo.
Yes, and it's been like that daily too! Extremely hot day with no breeze at all, then a sudden downpour. It's so hot, that if it only rains a little, it just causes the cement to steam and makes it worse! Ever experienced that? 😕
@@TheseSucculentBuddies you just described our weather condition in the PHL. 🤣 That's the kind of weather that we face for 6 months or more annually.
@@albertcalibo ugh! I know the feeling! Although I think it's hotter in Philippines from the last few years I've been visiting. Definitely much hotter there. But I was mostly in Manila. Tagaytay weather was nice. 😊
Nice as always
Thank you 😊
hi sis! Just watch this and compared it to the picture I sent you and yes it looks like sunburn than fungus. Thank you so much! Having a hard tume to identify succies problems 😅
Yes, crassulas/jade especially are prone to sunburn if they are not used to a lot of natural sunlight. Just try placing it in a shady area that gets bright light, but not direct, during the hot season. You can start acclimating to sunlight when the weather gets a bit cooler so they don't burn. Goodluck with them! 😊

Sis super ganda ni cubic frost. Lapitin yan ng mealies dito kaasar
I applied a systemic na dinilig sa soil. Kaya walang chance mga mealies! Thank you, she's one of my faves! Lagi pa may baby 😊
Muhteşem 👍👍👍
Thank you 😊
Great sharing ❤ new friend here🙏 Fully watched & 🔔💯
Thank you 😊
Oh no! A storm! What is your location?
It's ok, it wasn't a bad one. The succulents are all ok. Just a minor tropical storm that passed. 😊
@@TheseSucculentBuddies oh Ok Im glad its just minor. Take care!

Thank you 😊
There is a beautiful plant that u have that I must know they ID.it was green with brown edges, the leaves were shaped like tea cups that were holding water. It was located on top of the white shelf u have outside. Please tell me whats that called. I need that in my life!😁
Possibly the kalanchoe laxiflora...😊 lmk if that's not and I can double check.
What part of the world do you live? I'm in Central Florida and the heat and rain have not ruined the succulents under my oak but the new ones without cover are having symptoms like yours. It's not too bad but I'm watching them carefully every day to see if I need to pull any out to get it acclimated. I'm loath to see them scarred but I'm willing to endure it if I do not have to pull them out and they survive. :)
I'm in Guam. Tropical weather surrounded by the pacific with similar weather conditions like Florida and Hawaii. Very hot and humid, and when it rains, it pours! Hope your babies do well in the heat. They really just need time to properly acclimate. I start with 2 hours of morning sun normally in the spring or fall seasons, but the ones I just tried acclimating during our hot summer got sunburn.
