Insulating Front and Rear of Tune M1 popup camper

  • This is the 5mm closed cell foam with double foil by US Energy. often used for duct wrapping. They advertise it is R8, but I saw no spec sheets. However, the foil face will be great in AZ summer to keep heat out as I am applying this with an air gap, just velcroed in top and bottom.
    This is thin and flexible enough to fold up with the tent material when the top of camper is lowered.
    I will also cover the aluminum bottom portion of camper as that is where all the heat bridging and condensation will happen. The large flat side doors will be easy. I will probably make 10" rolls of this with velcro to just roll out over the main rails and velcro in place. Should give enough insulation over that aluminum railing, when it is really cold, and reduce airflow enough to stop most condensation.
