    Fascinating!

I foresee security implications if people use it to generate code for production (like you said) but it is so super neat. Of course people being people will probably go with the cheapest solution so we will see what will happen.
I agree with you in regards to being designers. I can't see chatGPT knowing when a user is stuck in an XY problem so for now us inferior meat brains are still required. :D

Haha, oh yes, but velocity of improvement is crazy right now, let's see what GPT4 will put on table. :)
      Exciting times!
My real use currently is to stimulate my out of the box thinking and have ChatGPT suggest a few alternative designs for me, to fight the stagnation of us puny humans ttpically repeating same patterns repeatedly.
I want to break my patterns somewhat :)

I agree with the security implications. I also think that, short-term, we may see A LOT of code with gaps in functionality. Because the AI is not able to see the "big picture" (especially in enterprise projects) referenced in the video. Similar to the "old days" when Visual Basic became super popular because it was easy, and everyone was a "developer." I fixed or re-created so much code back then. While this is different, there is a similar paradigm.
Perhaps we may see the code equivalent of all these AI-generated blogs and videos with voiceovers flooding UA-cam. Which means more to sift through to get to good content/good code. It sure will be interesting!
PS love your comment on devs doing more design work, human-centered design, that, for now, the AI can't do.

Cool I used it for excel formulas!

Haha, yes, I hear it's a very popular thing to do nowadays :)
