I've never heard that allegory and my eyes were opened. I can't express all the new things learned. I also found interesting that Jesus is represented by the Samaritan, the people most frowned upon (lowly people?), the land who people try to avoid and ignore. He is the meek and lowly. He is like the little child spoken earlier in this same lesson. 🤯 (mind blown)
Thank You so much for these lessons. I appreciate your quotes from the Institute manuals. And so much to learn from the Parable of the Good Samaritan. Great analogy to our life and our Savior!
I really appreciated your expansion on the parable of the good Samaritan. It brought great insights into a story I've heard hundreds of time--it's good to know that there is ALWAYS more to learn.
I like the straight-forwardness of your lessons. The allegory of the Good Samaritan was an especially interesting and thought provoking portion of this week's lesson. Thank you for all your time spent preparing lessons for us.
I love your weekly lessons and appreciate your insight and research. This weeks lesson had an allegory for the good Samaritan. It was huge eye-opener for me. How I appreciate your depth and spiritual understanding and willingness to teach us!!
My husband and I listen to you every week. We appreciate so much your time and effort to prepare these valuable lessons for us. We especially appreciate your insights and quotes. This week's lesson on the parable of the Good Samaritan with the insights from the allegory was absolutely wonderful. We listened to that part over and over again. Wow. Thank you for sharing.
Loved the allegorical explanation of the Good Samaritan. Also, the wine as a cleanser and the oil that soothed the injured man. Such care was taken. So good 😊.
I read the article from the Ensign and it was such a great talk.. I recommend everyone read it. Again, thank you so much for all your hard work. My family just LOVES your videos.
I hope you don't get bored by my thanking both of you so many times. I love it when you introduce new concepts that I haven't heard or thought about. Thank you Brother Fullmer (both of you) for enlightening me on the scriptures. Please do not stop teaching us. Both of you are a blessing to me.
This has been a great one! I listen to and from work everyday. Thank you soo much for taking the time to put these together! I appreciate it more than you know.
I have been watching your lessons for 2 years. (I think), But i have to say I am so greatful that you continue to make videos. For my job, i can listen to your video and feel the Spirit while i work. Thank you for what have been doing and for providing insight to lesson. I hope that you know these have been a tremendous blessing.
Regarding Mary and Martha - I think a valuable take away is that both Mary and Martha were righteous women who loved the Savior and wanted to follow him. We need to stop comparing the two as "greater" and "less than", just like we need to stop comparing ourselves to others. It is OK to be who you are and however you are if you put Christ in the center of your life. Don't concern yourself with what others are doing, but with what YOU are doing. As Sisters, we hear this message over and over, but it is definitely something that needs the repetition! 😏
As I read Matthew 18:8-10, I was struck that the context is children. Today there is a huge enterprise trafficking children for drugs and sex. I'd never put those two things together before and the realization stunned me. Truly, these traffickers and perpetrators have hung those mill stones around their own necks.
I'm so very glad I found your channel. I study your previous episodes from The Book of Mormon most every day at breakfast. As I've been listening to the New Testament episodes, references have been made to "The Chosen" well, I wish they weren't. Quotes from Church materials like Conference talks and manuals like Institute and Seminary manuels are a large part of why I watch the episodes. I don’t have the energy, resources, time, or skill to enrich my scripture study with the quotes you share. I especially like actually reading through the scriptures themselves. I realize that many people like the approach of "The Chosen". I feel it lacks the depth of the Bible videos. The nature of the Bible videos is such that I've felt they could be shown in very sacred places. I realize it is your choice, but I just felt that I wanted to at least share my feelings.
Thank.yiou Brethren .I just love the Siblings Martha,Mary and Lazarus and the relationship they have with Jesus Christ

Love this! They also had different talents or ways to serve. Jesus doesn’t like it when we compare or place one person’s gift above another.
Awesome teachings!I love the explanation parable of the Good Samaritan! Thank you both so much for your time and effort! Again awesome quotes!!
