Thanks Dan ...spent time in Sault this past summer ...enjoyed motel, people there ...crossed paths with an older gentleman, in a pale yellow' 79 Lincoln ...some of my past comedic sketches, included a '79 Lincoln ...enjoyed conversation with gentleman 🗣👥🚖
Always love to see your photos Dan-My father Alf Mitchell photographed this area for years for both his own pleasure and for the Hyland Tv spots. He lived in Goulais River On 552 from about 1962 until his death in 2002.. He never got to use drones or the new cameras-he would have loved it! He loved the north shore of Superior, the flower pots etc. no matter where we went, he always had his cameras with him.
It's gotten so busy up there it's hard to find a place to sleep by the water. This was my first time exploring the other side of the road. I've obviously been missing out. I found three more spots to stay too so it was worth the trip
Very pretty .. not sure if I told you this before but my brother was the one that originally painted the Canadian flag up on the, probably 50 years ago and people have just kept it up. We had a camp across the road and would often go for hikes up there. I haven't been up there in probably 20 years. Been saying I want to get up there again though. What a awesome view it is from up there.
Lovely.
