I always find the construction there fascinating. Those wooden floors must have been loud with all the youngins running about. Love it when the alarm goes off and u just shrug like it happens all the time! That made me remember ur explore of the leisure center a couple years ago. Fun times.
Wow!!! That library is mighty wee!! Or is that typical for Scotland primary schools? At the same time, I also don't know if that held reception through Year 4/5 or ? ? plus I don't know how many students went there when it was open. If there weren't many students, clearl it's nowt unusual.
The size of the rooms makes me reflect on how much kids that age aren't really fussy about architecture they just need room to run around and play. Any room can become anything with a little decoraton and imagination.
I'm a Janitor in a School in North lanarkshire. My school is similar to the second building. A lot of the fixtures and fittings are identical to where i work, the walls are even painted in the same colours. My school opened in 1992, i'd guess this one opened around then too judging by the finish.
The alarm had me a nervous wreck! The schools are huge and very nice! Nothing like the school I went to when I was young! Wonderful pictures! Thank you!

Great explore 👍🏼 judging by what I’ve watched, it looks like the schools were last used in 2020 (before the pandemic). The first building looks typically like most primary and secondary school buildings in the uk that were built during the 50s and 60s. The second building looks like a later addition, which I assume was constructed because of the need to facilitate more children (but I could be wrong). I’m guessing mid to late 80s/early 90s that the second building was constructed, judging by its appearance. Unfortunately, some buildings that were built during the 50s/60s contained asbestos; resulting in closures with similar buildings. However, I’m not stating that this was the case 😊 I’m pretty sure that they vacated these buildings for a more spacious school that been recently constructed (or a potential merge). Hope this helps 👍🏼
It's a shame that these schools appear to have already been demolished, going by what I can find on a Street view snapshot from April 2022. That's assuming that I have found the right schools of course.
Hey Alec, two explores in one. Awesome. Those alarms are damned annoying. Shut up! Apool in an elementary school, odd. Are they gonna be demoed? Dodgy you see any police or security when you left? Kinda sad 2 in 1 video. Cheers man, stay warm.

สวัสดีค่ะ🙏Alecและทีมงาน สำรวจดีเยี่ยมวิดีโอดีมากจากประเทศไทย🇹🇭👍🥰
I live in Scotland and my primary school was different but kinda the same
The pool you saw is a hydrotherapy pool as your second school was a school for the disabled
Parabéns amigos um vídeo legal um abraço 🥰❤❤❤🇧🇷👍
Other than a good cleaning and serial repairs this building could be used again.
Oops! Not the video I should have been watching in bed at 2am in the morning. Sudden blasting of the alarm woke up the wife! Anyway great vid Alec.
Where about a are or were these schools?
I live in Scotland I have seen this school before it was like super creepy
i love these ones the most!

I wonder when this school closed down,
Looks as though not that long ago.
What a waste of money !
Great pictures at the end. Thank you.
Some schools close if they don't have enough children in schools or a new one has been built

Wish we knew what you were saying interesting
Whats the problem Linda, is it because of his accent or is Alecs voice too quiet?
@@Carol...... I know you have to be quite
If you attached microphones to the both of you I’d be able to hear everything you were saying.
Why was this primary school abandoned?
THERES NO KIDS.
