What do you use for masking? Is a common label or sticker good? Do u recommend a heat gun for adhesive purposes?
is it ok to clean the head after it dyed with a little rubbing alcohol? Love this product I did a few already and I will be using this dye for all my projects. Great work guys.
Yes we use rubbing alcohol at times! Its a more advanced technique. Glad you love it!

Yes! Great idea. To get maroon is mostly red with a little brown.
joe my order of black grey royal red and carolina dye just got in to michigan and i couldnt find a mason jar so full disclosure i used a nutri bullet instead..... lol

I have been using alcohol for dark and bold colors as a final clean up and when I'm using alot of vinyl stenciling. what is your opinion on when you should use it.

Is there any way I can dye a black head white? I know that drug stores sell white rit dye, but the boxes say that they are for clothes and I'm concerned that it will damage the head.

I died my head neon pink, but it wasn’t quite what I thought it would be. If I dye my now light neon baby pink head, with the regular pink dye, would it turn out ok, or would it be messed up? I want it to look like the breast cancer awareness head on your Instagram, in like that shade of pink.
Can you use electric tape instead of vinyl?
If i were to get the red power dye would the dye be matte or gloss when put on the head?
The finish of the head is determined by the plastic before you dye it. So if the head is matte, the dye will be matte.

how much water are you using? said half a packet for the right saturation but surely that depends how much water you use?
Also can you not just put it all in the same pot of boiling water, then bring it down to a simmer?
What do I do with the ball stop and the Maverik logo on the head?
Remove the ball stop keep the MVRK logo on.

What temperature should the water be when the head is in the dye bath?
180 to 200F.

I recently bought the gray or "steel" dye pack and when I dyed the head it came out a dark purple??? Any ideas why this happened
Sorry to hear that. It sounds like the head was keep in the dyebath way too long. We ask dyer to check the color every 3 minutes.

How is it different than Rit Dye or Laxdip?
It is a powder developed for plastics, not fabric like the dyes you mentioned. It does not need acidic additives and dyes heads faster, keeping your head stiff for more game time. You can see more detailed info on ThroneLacrosse.com. Hope this helps!
