One thing I really appreciate about this palette is that you were able to create one warmer look and one cooler look. I think it's cool that I wouldn't have guessed you could create two unique looks especially from just a 5 pan palette. For that reason I am excited about it!

I only have the retro, pastel mini palettes and absolutely love them for travel! Definitely picking this one up- it’s perfect everyday look for daily life in Japan. They tend to lean more towards soft neutrals and no-makeup makeup looks.

Hmm I know you mentioned it’s a cooler toned palette but the only shade that looks cool is per se. The rest looks like warm or neutral to slightly warm. Better for me lol!

Great review. I love cool toned eye looks on my medium deep complexion. The tones are soft and there is much versatility for a travel sized palette. I don’t have the retro or glam however I think they would be a great compliment to both.

ND shipping is crazy 10$ so the code is amazing if u want other products too or something over 35$ otherwise with the shipping and the code it's like 32.54 which is a few dollars more then Sephora. I used ur code and got the concealer too. Mine still hasn't been sent it only shipped out last night and I ordered it as soon as it released for preorder for ND members. I can't wait to use it and I have a med tan skin tone .

Thank you for covering the purple toned shadow at the end of the video, Patty. Gah. It seems like nothing but a peachy beige party...except for that beautiful cool toned purplish mauve which are colors ND gives with every palette of her. Why can't she come out with a more purply cool toned mini ? I keep seeing purple color stories sell out right away everywhere, and yet the big companies keep sticking to their core sell over and over again. Frustrating.

I prefer deeper, warmer looks and more sparkly so this palette is not for me. The deepest shade would look ashy on me. I doubt this will work for deeper skin tones. Edit: I did own the Star palette and decluttered it because I wasn’t using the cool toned half, the shimmers are not as good as the Gold palette and there were 2 more colorful mattes but no colorful shimmer to go with it with I don’t enjoy for myself.

Hard pass on this one. I have many of her larger palettes and about five of her mini palettes. There isn't a single ND mini palette that I really like. As Patty says, aside from the color on the right, this is a basic palette. Bet even including that special shade, it isn't special.
