Now you’re not. I’m a Mets fan and I think that this series is going 5 games. These teams are very evenly matched.
The Diamondbacks were able to beat the Phillies in games 6 and 7 in their own stadium last year, so I wouldn’t doubt the ability of the Mets to win a single game in Philadelphia.
Mets want it more and are playing team oriented and smart baseball. I expected the Phillies’ offense to underperform, they sucked the entire second half. But what I didn’t expect was to see their bullpen implode. The last thing I expected was for our pen to blow multiple leads or fail to keep a game within reach. I don’t think the bullpen blew multiple leads in a single game all season. Our starters have gone out there and pitched their asses off only for the pen to shit the bed on them. It’s a shocker. But like I said, the Mets are absolutely the better team right now. The Phils are playing like the Mets in the first half whereas the Mets are playing like the Phils in the first half.
Pay attention people. The Mets have been beating Philly all season for the most part.

I think Mets will win the series because the Phillie's bullpen has been absoltely annihilated by the Mets in every game. I don't think they would be able to close out a game. Remeber the Phillies win in Game 2 was 7-6 and it was a walk-off. Mets have gotten Strahm twice badly and he looked really rattled.

This was a problem for the Phillies during their last 2 post seasons as well. When they panic, when they have their backs against the wall, they start extending and reaching. They swing at dirt balls 5 feet outside the strike zone. They swing for the fences. They forget how to play basic baseball. The fault lies with the manager, but also with the fact that they have no real locker room leader like an Aaron Judge. Or like how Daulton or Utley were for them in years past. A lot of their guys are soft and sensitive. Primadonnas. It's sabotaging their season and they need to get this straight or they'll be lucky to get the 3rd wildcard in 2025.
To be honest Aaron judge in the post season isnt that great in fact Judge has a .760 ops compared to harpers 1.013
